5.0 Most beautiful elf

Shu XinYi returned back to the black space after exiting the world. He knew that Xuval might bring an unnatural end for himself, since he was a mighty beast with a long lifetime. Now that Shu XinYi had left, it was very probable that he would follow right after him. This thought should pain Shu XinYi, but he was strangely at peace. If the situation was reversed, he would do the same.

It's not the fact that Xuval decides to bring an end for himself, that makes Shu XinYi angry. It's the intentions, those where his husband belittles himself and believes himself worthy of death, for one reason or another that anger Shu XinYi. Since these worlds are not real life, and death here isn't all that meaningful either way. But for his amnesiac husband death is very real, and him having intentions like he did in the cave that day, means that he has some issues to resolve with himself. For now, Shu XinYi has gotten his assurance from his husband, so he won't worry about it.

"We just disrupted an E class world right? Then shouldn't the virus codes have atleast one more line?" Shu XinYi asked looking at the 2 different lines of codes he received from Snow.

Snow replied "Master, The world level is supposed to affect the stories of the worlds, and the level of luck for the protagonists. Do you expect to get more amount of virus data? It's too much to ask for."

Shu XinYi said "I get it. I'll revitalize my spirit. Wait for me."

Snow said interjecting Shu XinYi, "Master, I got a notification. "This recipient receives unconditional foresight, unless blocked by another recipient's G.I.F.T. When the recipient receives a foresight, the foresight has a 100% chance of being correct in half of the situations. In a situation where the recipient receives no foresight/insight and is in need of one, the recipient can ask for one. This will still follow the Law of probability we have set, and can be used only 2 times. Your G.I.F.T is not restricted to world levels. You just got lucky, recipient. Use your G.I.F.T well and complete your worlds." Snow stopped speaking after this.

So this is what the purple form gave me. It's not totally useless but not fully reliable either. Shu XinYi asked Snow to repeat this once again. G.I.F.T... can't they just say gift? Why be so dramatic?

So the world's do give something in return, atleast to the cannon fodder. But why? For normal humans, their memories would be erased when entering a new world. Then wouldn't this gift become useless? The worlds' consciousness wouldn't be this cruel, to finally give them something and then make them forget what they gave them. It could be.

Shu XinYi left these thoughts behind. It was no use trying to think over something he has no extra information over. He sat in a meditative position and entered his mind space. The red and orange lights were glowing with even more luster after Shu XinYi was done.

"Let's go." He said to Snow, soon after he felt the familiar sensation of entering the world.

Shu XinYi felt himself sitting on a very comfortable chair as he opened his eyes. He was in the middle of some kind of round table conference. All around him was cosmic beauty, the people present were all exceptionally pleasing to the eye. Enchanting. Their striking silver, golden and bronze hair lengths would maybe even blind some people. But Shu XinYi could adjust. All of them shared a similar feature; pointy ears. Elves. Shu XinYi evaluated.

He didn't ask Snow to send him the information of this world, as he seemed to be in a middle of an important conversation.

The elf sitting 7 seats ahead of Shu XinYi spoke looking at him, "Commander Calian, how long are we going to continue this debate? The dragons have already invaded our land. Is it okay to just raise a white flag and let this matter go? We should raise our combat strength and fight them out."

Shu XinYi understood that he was the head of this meeting. He wanted time to evaluate the situation before making any rash decisions so he said in a calm yet firm tone, "I have heard all that you speak. I will soon recall the council. Until then no one is allowed to make a decision by themselves. Everyone is dismissed."

Shu XinYi then politely bowed to all the members and left. He had an elf walk him back to his room. Shu XinYi excused himself after reaching the room. Closing the door, Shu XinYi found himself in a very odd yet aesthetically built room. He didn't pay attention to it for long. He found a mirror to look at himself and asked Snow to send him all the information.

"Master, this is the 3rd rule of the Elven kingdom of the north. You are Callian Ilseu, the military commander of the kingdom at the young age of 25. Also a dark Elf."

Shu XinYi could tell this much, he had seen atleast 40 elves till now and all of them had light colored hair and eyes. But when he looked in the mirror he found that he had long locks of pure black hair and pure black pupils. Shu XinYi questioned "Why? How come Ilseu became a dark elf?"

Snow replied "He did nothing to become one, just that the women who birthed him committed a grave crime while she had Ilseu in her womb. He was discriminated since the very beginning. Later on his talent in military was recognized by the 2nd Elven king, who is now dead, and he was appointed as a cheif commander after several years of training. Ilseu was very committed to his kind but just this once, he failed."

The dragon kind lived in the very south, they never invaded other territories unless it became necessary for them. Since the south was already full of rich minerals and metal, the dragons didn't plan to invade the Elven kingdom. But this year the dragons started to loom over the skies. Ilseu was forced to make a decision and end all threats to the kingdom. The meeting just now was one of those meetings. Ilseu too rejected any answers before he found out what exactly the dragon kind were here for. This is when the protagonist came in.

Shu XinYi was looking at the different things in his room but at this time he became serious. He didn't want to miss any details like Shira this time.

Snow continued "The protagonist is called Bane. He is a human." Shu XinYi was about to question but Snow said "Keep listening. You'll understand, Master. Bane has transmigrated into a novel he read back on earth. He is a human, but when he came here he became the most beautiful Elf to step on the Elven kingdom. Obviously since he read the novel, he knew how the dragons could be killed, and so much more about the whole story. The Elven kingdom on the other hand, never knew how a mighty beast like a dragon could ever be killed. With his good looks and his omnipotent knowledge, he easily looted both the dragon kind and the Elven kingdom. Making them fight with each other for his own profit. Later the 3rd Elven king made him the highest Scholar. Meanwhile Ilseu was doubted for his loyalty after being seen with a dragon. Ilseu obviously saw through Bane and his schemes but no one believed him. In the end many were killed in war and Ilseu couldn't do anything. Later Ilseu killed himself while Bane became the kings advisor, living a life of luxury."

The worlds were becoming more complicated as they progressed. To Shu XinYi though, this difficulty wasn't a even near a hardship, not even a challenge. Obviously Shu XinYi wouldn't put any less effort to disrupt any of the worlds. He had a goal to achieve. Even though he didn't know why he felt responsible for finding an end or even a beginning to these worlds, he believed in himself. He also believed in his amnesiac husband, maybe someday they could actually find and confront the truth. Until then, Shu XinYi would keep on going.

Shu XinYi asked the 3 very important questions, "So why are the dragons actually here? If this world is a novel then what was the original novel story? Why was Bane motivated to scheme and plot the way he did, instead of enjoying a novel world like regular people?"

Snow answered the questions one by one, "The dragons are in search of a lost child. When the protagonist came to this world, he decided to kill the 2 dragons. The dragons were in their human forms and not on gaurd, so Bane could easily kill them. They had a baby dragon of only 80 years old, which is similar to an 8 year old human. Bane had planned for this opportunity and took the baby dragon along with him. Later, Bane groomed the baby dragon and used him on various occasions to incite an unnecessary war. The baby dragon was the son of the second prince so he was important to the the dragon kingdom. To Bane though, he was just a string he could pull to make his way."

Obviously it would not be so simple but, Shu XinYi still asked in a tone of pity, "If we just return the baby dragon to the dragons then won't this crisis settle?" How could it ever be this easy?
