3.12 Fragile dignity

Inside the room, the clear but stammering voice of Xin Su spoke "B-but brother, even if he already has evidence against us. We c-can't just kill him righ-right?"

A very determined voice of Xin An said "XingChen wants it done. We have already removed all evidences of his way over here. After killing him we will take the g route, it has no cameras all the way and we will dump the car into the cliff."

A girl's voice spoke "Why are you so scared, Big bro this is almost necessary at this point. He already knows about the existence of Young master disguised as the statue. Moreover he has evidence against you. Because you were stupid enough to be swept away by his act."

An embarrassed Xin Su spoke "Ugh, I didn't know he would be so sly. Whatever let's just finish this quickly. Oh wait wait, would it matter even if we kill him, won't he have already recorded the evidence?"

Shu XinYi cursed himself for not foreseeing this kind of situation, well he did but the victim he foresaw was himself, Not Xiang Li. So he wasn't worried.

Xin An said in an angry tone yet disturbed tone, as if he didn't agree with himself, "HE DESERVED IT. If he had just helped us a little, master wouldn't have died nor would my parents have disappeared. If I hadn't ran away when I did, all of us would also have "disappeared"."

Maybe because you feel pathetic that you helped the son of the very man who killed your parents for a little sum of money. Isn't it pathetic that you still run around like a dog behind XingChen?" Xiang Li.

"Oye, what are you all hesitating for. Kill him and let's get out of here." Xin An said with an underlining panic in his voice.

"B-brother, this isn't true r-right? Mom and dad, th-they were killed by the Xue clan right o-or maybe Bai Jiao did it right?" The women said with a hesitating voice.

Xin An "Let's just get over with it okay, we'll discuss when we have dealt with this problem. I also found a month ago. Okay." Xin An said. His voice seemed tired like he just wanted some rest right now.

Xin Su "No. Why didn't you tell us? Tell me this is a joke."

Xin An said "Let's just do the job and get out of here first. Does it matter now, even if you know? It doesn't change anything. The dead won't come back. Once the case is over we will move away."

Xin An walked forward and made a punch, he was just about to hit the smiling face of Xiang Li to knock him unconscious when something sharp and small hit his wrist.

"ACK!" Xin An had never felt such a pain in his life. It was difficult to describe, it was like his whole hand had went numb but it was also burning from the inside.

His eyes were hazy from tears so he couldn't see what had hit him but Xin Su and Xin Feng(the girl) could see a small rough uncut rock. Probably from the debris of this breaking building. It came as a shock to both of them that such a small seemingly harmless rock had put their big bro in such a position. They had always thought of their big bro as the strongest amoung them.

The both simultaneously turned their heads towards the door, hoping to look at fierce demon. Instead they just found a haggard looking young man in his pajamas. His face though was so dark that even though he shouldn't be scary, right now he was the scariest thing to both Xin Feng and Xin Su. They subconsciously retreated to their fallen brother.

Xiang Li childishly laughed as he said in a matter of factly tone "Ah, I told you, you shouldn't have hit me. Oh well."

Which reminded Shu XinYi, He looked at Xin Feng's hands in contemplation when Xiang Li said with a tilted head showing his bloody face "She is left handed. Xiao Qi she hit me so hard, look it left a mark on my fragile face."

Shu XinYi rolled his eyes at Xiang Li, "For now, how about you untie that rope and save your fragile dignity." Shu XinYi said eyeing the almost naked body of Xiang Li. Too shameless. Definitely needs punishment.

After saying this Shu XinYi walked forward to the retreating Xin Feng then without any consideration he grabbed her left wrist and twisted at a slow pace and with a "crack" broke it. Except for the little squeal Xin Feng gave, none of them made a single sound while all this happened. Xin Su didn't even try to stop him.

Xin Feng sat in a corner with a tear stained face as she held her wrist which had started turning blue. One could only imagine the pain she was in.

Shu XinYi looked back to find Xiang Li still naked and tied up to a chair "What, are you so eager to get punished? Stop staring and untie yourself."

Xiang Li swiftly untied himself under the surprised gazes of the 3. He didn't rush to wear his clothes but instead walked over to XiaoXiao and lightly kissed him on his ear whispering "I knew you'd come, and I knew what I was doing so I wasn't going to die. Don't be too worried okay. I love you, so I won't do things that will hurt you."

Shu XinYi unconsciously released a breath, he didn't even know he had been holding. When he was outside the room and he heard Xin An punch Xiang Li, something in his brain went off like fireworks. The calm he had maintained uptill now was gone and the only thought in his mind was to barge into the room and burn Xin An's hand over and over again until nothing was left.

But when Xiang Li said "You really shouldn't hit me." Shu XinYi finally calmed down. It was obvious who this sentence was directed at. Xiang Li wanted to comfort Shu XinYi standing outside the door that he is okay and he knows what's going on. Only then did Shu XinYi's nerves calmed down, he listened and obviously recorded all of the conversations as evidence.

Shu XinYi was surprised, how both his and Xiang Li's mind's work in sync. But it wasn't really a weird thing. since Shu XinYi had already understood the fact that whoever Xiang Li or that unidentifiable being really was, they were trustable and Shu XinYi had loved them even before these worlds. It wasn't weird that their minds were in sync but this could confirm that they had spent a some time together and in difficult situations at that, for them to become this way.

There was also the fact that Shu XinYi had become so angry at Xin An just for punching Xiang Li, who was needless to say, someone who could take more then just a few punches. But Shu XinYi didn't brood over the fact, it just was. Maybe it is some kind of trauma, but one thing was for sure. No one is allowed to hurt his amnesiac husband, unless he planned it.

Shu XinYi lightly hugged Xiang Li back indicating he understood. Xiang Li was too occupied admiring XiaoXiao's red ears so he didn't want to back off but there were 3 unnecessary bugs in the room so, Xiang Li went to dress up and deal with the current situation.

Shu XinYi looked at the 3 "bugs" who were crouching down. Their state of mind had already been pushed to an edge by Xiang Li previously so now Shu XinYi just had to say the right words.

After almost 30 minutes, Shu XinYi and Xiang Li left the building together. Xiang Li's car was parked a little far from the site so Xiang Li just called a toll to deliver it to a repair shop. So naturally Shu XinYi drove home with him.

Xin An and the gang also left in their respective cars and as agreed Xin An sent Lan Xiao all the documents he wanted. It was enough that at the end of this, him and his siblings come out safe. Nothing else really matters. Song XingChen has already used us much more then we owed him, so there is no need to fear disloyalty now. Xin An was just contemplating on how to tell Xin Su and Xin Feng that their parents really were killed by Master. Even when they were loyal servants. That was still a necessary conversation to be had.

Well first they should go visit the hospital, who knows what deadly force Lan Xiao had used but both Xin An and Xin Feng had been rendered useless. Their hands were in an unspeakable pain, but they didn't make a single sound slowly enduring it out of some subconscious fear.

Shu XinYi drove to a nearby 24 hour store and bought some snacks, water, an ice bag and medicine. Xiang Li also followed into the store and only then did Shu XinYi remember that he didn't have any money right now since he had left all his stuff at Xiang Li's home while he left in a hurry.

Xiang Li picked up some peach juice, and offered it to XiaoXiao with innocently blinking eyes.

Shu XinYi pulled on Xiang Li's collar and whispered in his ear "A cheap box of juice? Even if you bring me the best fruit wine right now, I will still punish you."

Xiang Li silently put the juice box back and followed XiaoXiao around the store like an abandoned puppy. Shu XinYi only looked at him when he had to pay then ignored him along the way home.

"Ah, please don't ignore me. If you want to punish me, then just punish me, don't ignore me. This is so much worse." Xiang Li said in a petty tone.

"Shut up, idiot. You are not allowed to touch me for 2 weeks." Shu XinYi.

"Ack, nooo sorry baby. Please. Wouldn't it be a punishment for you too then, huh? please forgive me no?" Xiang Li said with little hope.

"Who said I am not allowed to touch you? YOU are just not allowed to touch me nor can you use this (THE thing) without my permission." Shu XinYi said with indifference.

Shu XinYi just went to bed, once they reached home.

Xiang Li was given cold feet and ruthlessly thrown outside his own room in his own house.

For the next few days Xiang Li who was slowly tortured by Shu XinYi, was actually happy. Oh his down side wasn't very happy. Xiang Li tried new ways to gain the attention of his Xiao Qi but XiaoXiao is so strict (❁´◡`❁).

Shu XinYi didn't go back to his own house for a while. He had videos made in advance for the next week so he didn't have to worry. Nor was he in the mood to paint or sculpt right now. Though he did make multiple digital models for what he was going to be making in the future.

Most of all he was anxious to go back home, who knows what that idiot XingChen would do. So he just stayed with Xiang Li.

On the third day after the incident, Shu XinYi had a meeting with his mother and bought 18% of the Young Yu entertainment shares for a 4.5% less price from his mother.

It seems that his purpose for this world is approaching an end. So it should be the right to buy shares. As expected the next day Lan Cheng too bought the exact amount of shares. Well Xiang Li already had 15% so he just bought 3%more. This assured Shu XinYi that Xiang Li wasn't looking to invest his time in the company for any more then a board member.

By the end of the week, Lan Cheng called saying that he was holding a little family meeting. Shu XinYi obviously said he'd be there.

Xiang Li sat up with Shu XinYi on his lap and moved at an adjustable pace. "Ah, Xiang Li. I love you so much. Don't leave me alone." Shu XinYi said out of nowhere.

Xiang Li "I won't. I can't. Trust me. I love you."
