THREE OPTIONS

"Was death always supposed to be this painful?"

This question lingered inside Michael's head ever since entering this void. Michael was also wondering about what this purple silhouette was, but he was more eager to know whether the death was supposed to be this painful. The pain he experienced inside was unimaginable, he was wondering whether every single person who dies was supposed to be going through this much pain.

"YES"

The purple silhouette answered emotionlessly. The purple silhouette had the shape of a human and it was staring intensely at Michael.

"I knew I would always go to hell after I die and I also knew hell would be a place filled with pain and torture, but the pain I experienced here was way beyond my imagination"

After spending almost fifty years in this void all alone Michael was happy just to find someone to talk to. Even though Michael was a person who talks very less he knew the only thing that prevented the pain from harming his soul was the barrier created by this purple silhouette, so Michael was trying to elongate the conversation as much as possible.

"There is no place like hell or heaven, whenever a mortal dies their soul will reach the void, and then they will slowly become a part of this endless void. But you are a special case", The purple silhouette said coldly, but even though the purple silhouette appeared to be emotionless Michael knew that the thing in front of him was interested in Michael.

"What do you mean by I am a special case?"

Michael asked with curiosity. Everyone likes it when someone calls you special and just like that Michael was also eager to know what was so special about him.

"It's been fifty years since your soul entered this void, but you still had not become a part of the void, which means you are an abnormality. The maximum limit of how long a mortal can survive in this void is 3 months, which means that your soul is immune to the void erosion"

Michael had no idea what void erosion was and he also had no idea why he was immune to this so-called void erosion. Michael was about to ask again when he saw a creepy smile appearing on the face of this purple silhouette. The smile on its face was both creepy and scary. This was the first time Michael see any emotion on the face of this thing in front of him.

"The pain you asked earlier was just supposed to last only for three months, but since you are immune to void you've been suffering it for this long. It's my duty to throw away anything that the void can't absorb, I had already found you ten years ago but I needed to absolutely make sure that you are completely immune, so I waited for ten years to confirm it. So now I will be throwing you out of the void"

Michael was getting angrier the more he heard it talks, the thing in front of him watched Michael suffer through extreme pain for ten years and he was also angry at why this thing take almost forty years to find him.

"Why the hell it took you forty years to find me?"

Michael shouted angrily. Michael was not a person who would take unnecessary risks and Michael also knew that he shouldn't be making this thing in front of him angry, but Michael was seriously pissed off now. Only he knows how much pain he had to suffer because of how long it took this thing to find him.

But to Michael's surprise, the purple silhouette was not becoming angry. It said in an apological tone

"It was completely due to my mistake, Souls that are immune to void erosion are very rare, so I was asleep for hundreds of years because of the boredom. As an apology, I will give you three options before you reincarnate, you can choose any one of these three options before you reincarnate"

Michael was happy when he heard he will be able to leave this place soon. He never wishes to enter this place ever again, so he asked excitedly

"What are the three options?"

"Your first option is to be reborn as a Saiyan with the knowledge of all the ki techniques

Your second option is to be reborn with the zanpakuto named Ryujin Jakka and a system that will help you power up faster

Your third option is to be reborn with the power of the devil fruit gomu gomu no mi and a system that will help you power up faster"

Michael was genuinely confused about which option to choose, but he still had some doubts about these options

"Does the devil fruit still contain its weaknesses towards water? Also, do I need to consume the devil's fruit to obtain its powers?"

Michael asked the purple figure. Michael was currently in a soul state so there is no way he can consume the devil fruit now

"Of course, the devil fruit will contain the weakness towards the water, also you won't need to consume the devil fruit, I will directly transfer its powers to your soul. This is the same case for Zanpakuto, the sword will become a part of your soul and you will be able to summon it from your mental plane whenever you want. As for the Saiyan, you will be reborn into the body of a baby Saiyan"

This time the purple silhouette explained every detail.

After hearing the purple silhouette Michael directly gets rid of the idea of choosing the third option, because weakness towards water is not something Michael wants. Michael thought deeply about options one and two, then he finally decided on option two. Even though being a Saiyan was really tempting, Michael knew that choosing that option would be foolish. Mainly because the only pure Saiyans who become super Saiyans were just Goku and Vegeta. It was really hard for a normal Saiyan to undergo super Saiyan transformation, so there is a chance that Michael would never be able to achieve super Saiyan if he chooses that option.

Also, the purple entity gives the option of having a system for the last two choices, but for the first option, there was no system. Also, the purple entity said that if he chooses option one he will be reborn into the body of a baby Saiyan, which means there is a high chance he will be reborn into planet Vegeta. But in the anime planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza. There is no way Michael would choose an option that has a chance of getting himself killed. Michael already experienced how painful death was, he doesn't want to experience this pain ever again.

Before confirming his choice Michael also asked one crucial question.

"What is the system that I will be getting if I choose the second option?"

"I won't explain all the features of the system, but you can rest assured that no matter what the situation is, the system will never do anything that will be harmful to the host"

From the tone of the purple entity Michael knew that it was getting impatient, but Michael still have some questions left. So, Michael was about to ask another question, But the purple entity interrupted him and said.

"If you ask one more question then I will be throwing you out without giving you anything, I only chatted with you this much because I was bored, but now you started to annoy me too much, so choose your option quickly and leave."

The purple entity said with an angry look. Michael didn't waste any more time and directly said

"I choose option two"

"Okay then. You will be reincarnated with the Zanpakuto and a system to support you"

After that a portal opened and Michael was sucked inside the portal and left the void.
