HOKAGE

The next day,

Akira woke up and left for the Hokage building to meet up with his sensei and teammates. Today was the day when Akira would finally be getting to do missions.

When Akira reached the Hokage building he saw his two teammates standing right outside. But unlike the first day, this time Yogi doesn't question Akira for being late and just stood there with a calm face. Akira also stands there on the side waiting for Anzai to arrive. After another five minutes, Anzai and his dog Hara arrived at the Hokage building.

Anzai: "Before we select our mission the Hokage Sama had asked me to pay him a visit. So, let's just go and see the Hokage first."

After saying this Anzai entered the Hokage building. Akira and his teammates also followed behind Anzai. Akira could see the excited expression on the faces of both Yogi and Onaga, they were really excited to see the Hokage. But Akira knew that the only reason Hokage wanted to meet this Genin team is probably because of Akira. Except for Kakashi, Itachi, and Akira, no other ninja had become a Genin at the age of five. So Akira understood that the Hokage will try to make Akira into a fanatic of the will of fire and make Akira a ninja who would sacrifice anything for the protection of the Konoha village.

Anzai: "Behind this door is the strongest and most respected person in the entire Konoha village, The Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi. So I don't want you guys to do anything disrespectful while you are in his presence and try to show as much respect as you can."

Yogi: (excitedly) "Yes sensei"

Onaga: (excitedly) "Yes sensei"

Akira: (calmly) "Yes sensei"

Anzai was satisfied with the reply of the three of them and directly opened the door and entered the Hokage's office. This room was in the same way as it was shown in the anime. There was a long table with a lot of paper stacked at the side of it, Behind this table Sarutobi Hiruzen was sitting with a cigar in his mouth.

Anzai: (with a slightly bowing pose) "Team six report to Hokage Sama."

After hearing the Hokage speak Anzai stopped bowing and ordered team six who were behind him.

Anzai: "Introduce yourself to the Hokage Sama"

After hearing Anzai speak Yogi replied excitedly.

Yogi: "My name is Yogi, my dream is to become a strong ninja just like the Hokage Sama and protect everyone in the leaf village."

Akira on the side could clearly feel that this Yogi was trying to create a good impression before the Hokage. After Yogi spoke the Hokage just nodded and looked at Onaga. Onaga who was a shy person was extremely anxious when she saw the Hokage looking at her. She wanted to speak confidently and also create a good impression before Hokage, but all the confidence she had was gone the moment Hokage looked at her.

Onaga: (with an extremely anxious tone) "My… My…I….I….am…Onaga"

Hokage: "No need to be so humble Akira, even if that dog doesn't have a brain, it was still a dog trained by the Inuzuka clan, So its combat effectiveness is very high. Young genius like you are what the village needed the most, when you grow up you will become one of the pillars supporting the Konoha village. "

After saying this Sarutobi looked at the face of Akira, But Akira's face doesn't show any change. Akira was still maintaining a calm and humble expression. After pausing for a while Sarutobi asked Akira again,

Sarutobi: "What is your dream Akira?"

Both Anzai and Yogi were surprised by this reply from Akira. Because they remember Akira saying that his dream was to never die or something like that when they had first met. Sarutobi was a brilliant man, so seeing the surprised expression of both Anzai and Yogi, Sarutobi realized that Akira should have told some other dream when they asked about it. But Sarutobi doesn't mind that and replied,

Sarutobi: "That is really a very good dream Akira, you should train harder and try to become a good shinobi. If you face any great difficulty in the future, you can always come to me for advice."

Akira realizes that Sarutobi was trying to influence him by giving such offers. If it was any other kid they would have already had a very good impression of the Hokage and would also work hard to live up to the expectations of the Hokage. But Akira was not a naïve kid and could see the actual intention behind the Hokage's words, which is to lure Akira into becoming a loyal follower of the Hokage.

Akira: "If I have any problems I will surely come to the Hokage Sama."

Sarutobi: "Then I wish team 6 the best of luck in their upcoming missions."

After that Anzai and team six thanked Hokage and left his office. Then they directly go to the area which allocated missions for the shinobi.

Anzai: "Now I will go and receive our first mission."

After saying this Anzai goes to the receptionist to receive the mission. Akira could see the eager expression on both Yogi and Onaga. But Akira was feeling bored because he knew that the first few missions are very boring tasks like doing house works or finding a cat or something like that. This is also the reason Akira learned shadow clone jutsu from his father yesterday, So he could let his shadow clone do all this trivial works while he could just go and train.
