25 done digging and next stages.

when I woke up in the morning I fed everyone breakfast as usual and decided to improve the lights in the cave.

I used magic crafting to give the lights the function to turn on and off. I then tied the function into a light switch near the entrance of the cave, and put a separate one for the bathroom.

that only took about 20 minutes then I immediately went to the cavern. only had a little left to do, it shouldn't even take all 5,000 mana in my pendant.

I immediately got to work and used Earth magic to drain all the dirt. that took about 3 hours, I then spent another 2 hours mining all the ore.

there wasn't actually much ore around the edge of the cavern. there are still lots of pockets of ore though around the walls.

now the entire cavern was complete it was 300 ft high and 600 ft in diameter and the shape of a dome. you could fit thousands of people down here.

I had to work incredibly hard in order to get this done in just a few days. of course magic played the most important role without it I never would have been able to do this in this amount of time.

now I can finally move on to the next stages. the cavern had lighting and it had heat, now I need to get a water source and make a suitable spot for farming.

the water source should be very simple there is an underground river that runs through near here. I'm going to redirect it through the cavern.

which of course means I had to dig a riverbed but that only took about 2 hours. of course it cost me the rest of the mana in my pendant.

I didn't just dig the riverbed I also managed to divert the river towards the entrance of my cavern River. the Rock was still blocking the water but I'll let it flow soon.

I had the river cut through the cavern in a specific shape. it it cut through the center of the cavern at first then diverted into two streams that wrapped in a perfect circle. then were the two streams met up it went in a straight line through the middle of the cavern again out of it.

this would make the water easily accessible and routable throughout the whole cavern. the cavern was large but I had to fit the river in an exact way.

the center Island of the cavern was big enough to build a town while the edges of the cavern were big enough for farming and other things.

now that the layout was done I broke down the blockage and let the water flow. it immediately flowed through and was very strong and ran over the edges at first, but after a while it's flowing it calm down.

you couldn't see any ripples in the river and it was crystal clear. now that that was done I decided to go four Bridges across the river. I made them from the monstrous amount of bricks I have in my personal dimension.

I made each bridge with a different kind of material. I use regular bricks for the walkway and supports under the bridge. each Bridges rails were made with a different material. I used marble, granite, basalt, and limestone.

I only use them for the tops of the railings though. the railing itself was made from tungsten. this took about 6 hours to do, the bridges didn't take long but I took over 4 hours refining lots of metals for my later projects.

with the bridges out of the way it was time to work on farming. the outer ring of the cavern was split into two by the river each piece had two Bridges.

I decided to use half the outer ring for farming and the other half for a different even though it was half it was still a massive amount of farmland.

the first thing I did was use Earth magic to grind up the land into dirt suitable for planting. that only took about 30 minutes because I didn't have to go very deep.

after that I flew over the land while pouring about five bottles of my nutrient solution. this will make the land very fertile for at least a few years. I also cut a few irrigation channels through the farmland so it wouldn't need to be watered.

now with that out of the way I needed to plant the crops. I had large amounts of seeds and root plants, I had nightshade and Elizabeth collect potential crops while they were out hunting.

I had quite a large variety of crops. if I compare them to the plant from my world I have wheat, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, and tomatoes. with this large variety I shouldn't have to worry about food.

I didn't have much farmland if you take width into account. however the length of my farmland was 300 ft although it was circular. my farmland had a width of about 100 ft which wasn't much.

but this was just the start of my farmland it would expand much farther later on. I also specifically installed more lights in this area so that the plants could grow better.

I planted every type of crop I had evenly throughout my farmland. now that that is out of the way it's time to work on the other 300 ft of the outer circle. this was going to be a processing and manufacturing area.

this is where all my uses of creation this week would go. I needed to build ore refineries for each ore. I also needed to add cooling systems conveyor belts and machines to automate the production of tools.

I also needed to make a steel refinery. this would be hard though as I needed to make a better version of coal for making steel. I'm going to turn the coal into Coke which is not a very hard process but it'll take a specific machine.

I want my iron refinery and Coke refinery to pump straight into my steel refinery. I wanted to be a completely automated process but all you need to do is add the raw materials and it creates everything itself.

I won't need to use creation for the conveyor belts it's relatively simple so I can make it on my own. thanks to magic the process should be very quick although it will require different processes than for my world.

I should be able to make it to where the machine very complex. as the metal heats up I want the machine to pull the Earth and Rock from the metal. the machines will have an extra function of turning the Earth and rock into bricks and spitting them out a separate exit.

so while I'm building up on my metal reserves I'll also be gaining lots of building materials. I want the machines to be able to work continuously. so all I'll have to do is shovel tons of ore into one and it will slowly process it and keep going till it runs out.

in order to do this they'll have conveyor belts for intake. so all I have to do is constantly load the conveyor belt and it'll never stop running.
