I'm Back

A long slim leg stepped out of the car and the woman walked into the building. She had an aura that was equivalent to a demoness, wearing a dark grey suit. The moment she walked into the hospital, all eyes were on her, staring. Though she had a domineering aura, she still looked as beautiful and dazzling as the stars.

"Bang!" The door slammed open. Trishelle pulled the man sitting at the desk up and hugged him.

"Hey, I'm back." Trishelle grinned at the man after letting him go.

"Tr...Trish!" Ellison stumbled backwards and was in shock for a few seconds before tears welled up in his eyes. "You...You're back! Why didn't you tell me??"

"I wanted to give you a surprise," Trishelle smirked.

"Surprise? You almost gave me a heart attack!" Ellison said as he tried to calm his heart.

"Oh? You are not happy that I am back?" Trishelle asked wilfully.

Ellison blushed, "That's not it….."

Trishelle laughed at his cute reaction, "Look at you! The big director of Trinity Hospital and Research Centre. No longer the little doctor back then."

Although Trishelle was teasing him, her eyes were filled with pride and joy.

"Elli, are you willing to follow me?" Trishelle suddenly said with a tone of seriousness.

"Of course! Trish, everything I did was just for you, just to wait for your return and to claim back everything! Everything that I have, that I am, is because of you!" Ellison never hesitated and is ready to give Trishelle everything.

Trishelle grinned again and then said, "Let's go!"

"Ah? Go… Go where?" Ellison was confused but followed the lady walking out.

"Lunch! You haven't eaten, right?" Trishelle replied and walked out without turning back.

At Blue Cosmos Restaurant

"Give me a steak and grilled fish. One cappuccino and one green tea." Trishelle ordered without even looking at the menu.

Ellison stiffened when he heard the order.

She still remembers his favourite restaurant, his favourite dish, and drink. But... she feels different as well…

"What is it?" Trishelle saw that Ellison was staring at her for a long time without speaking.

"I… well... you… Imperial Dynasty…" Ellison did not know where to start, conflicted at what to ask first.

Trishelle reached out for a glass of water. "Yeah, I'm re-establishing Imperial Dynasty." She said without a change in expression.

"But! Clear Sky..."

Trishelle's eyes darkened at the mention of the name.

Ellison panicked after watching Trishelle's aura change "No! It's not... I mean…. I can support you; you don't have to….."

"Elli, I want to come back. Are you not willing to support me?" Trishelle's deadly eyes pierced through Ellison as she questioned him.

"Of course I'll support you, Trish! I just… I don't want you to suffer. I can't bear to let you go through what happened 2 years ago again!" Ellison was conflicted, to support her or to protect her. He never wants her to go through that pain ever again.

"Don't worry Elli. Imperial Dynasty will be the top business company this time. I will have my revenge." Trishelle grinned with a hint of arrogance and laziness.

"Then I will destroy all that stands in your way." Ellison declared as he looked back at Trishelle with a tone of craziness.

Only in front of her, will he show his true self. For his love, he was willing to slaughter all that is in her way.

Trishelle saw an expression she never saw in Ellison's before. She realized that her beloved changed probably as much as she did.
