Meanwhile...

After consuming match, her powers grew so much that she started to destroy the entire floor. She went out when Dr. Desmond was not in her lab. A vampire was traveling through shadows, trying to find the office or lab of Dr. Desmond.

Julie was looking around, and she was now getting frustrated because she didn't even realize until now that Cadmas was so big. It was making her go mad because she had almost searched everywhere to find someplace where the office or lab might be. Still, she didn't dissolve her search and continued to do it.

After 15 minutes of searching at high speeds, she finally found the lab, and she got in by ripping the door right off the hinges. With her newfound power, it felt like she was going through butter. After she went inside, she looked around. There were so many files, chemicals, and everything just lying around. But what she was searching for was a computer.

After she finally found the computer, her first instinct was to destroy it. But looking at the computer, she thought she might get some data that might help her in the future. She can provide it to the league or maybe just keep it to herself and benefit from it. So she took out a pen drive that had a bat symbol on it.

It was not an ordinary pen drive. It was a tool specifically designed by Batman with his super-advanced code, which can encrypt and decrypt any file almost in record-breaking times. It was one of the best inventions made by Batman. It was one of the most amazing tools, but it was not public. It was just certain things specific to Batman.

She looked at the pen drive with a bat symbol on it and started to grin ear to ear as she finally recognized her efforts had paid off. Her begging and haggling with Batman had finally shown some results. She remembered how hard it was to convince Batman to just give it to her.

[Flashback...]

Julie was right now in a fight between hand-to-hand combat with Batman. He first punched her, and it didn't land. She tilted her head to the side and avoided the punch but barely. She was not using her vampiric power right now. She was just using her senses to fight Batman in hand-to-hand combat. She was just starting to learn how to fight.

Still, Batman didn't just miss that punch. He was using it to distract her as he used his leg at an unexpected time and tipped Julie to the ground. Julie rolled to the ground, pouted, and looked at Batman, saying, "Hey, you give Robin all those fancy tools, give me some of them too."

Batman was standing still, and Julie got back on her feet and started to perform a series of punches. Batman shrugged and avoided them all, saying, "You don't need those fancy tools because you don't even know how to use them, and most of them are useless to you with your powers. You don't need them."

Julie disagreed and launched a vicious kick that landed on Batman. He struggled a bit but still shrugged it off and started to perform his own kicks. Julie said, "Hey, I can still use some of them. At least give me those fancy smoke bombs and that pen drive you have. I can collect info gathering with my powers, and with immortality, it will be like a match made in heaven. I can sneak around really well too."

Julie was now struggling a little bit because Batman was going a little more serious as his punches and kicks were starting to affect her. It was like she couldn't even read. Most of them were faint, and she started to struggle a bit. Batman finally said, "You have been asking me for days about it, so fine, but still, let Robin teach you about them first."

As she was weaving through the kicks, she finally dodged a very vicious kick that had always landed on her before, and she was really happy that she had avoided that super nasty kick that always got her ass. But she responded back with her kick and said, "Well, why don't you teach me? Huh? Why does it have to be that bird brain?"

But after Batman got more serious and started to perform some crazy ninja moves that she had no answer for at her current level, he started to beat the shit out of her and finally said, "Because Robin is one of the best in his field of hacking and computer-related stuff. He's sometimes even better than me. This is why you have to learn it from him, and I don't have the necessary time to provide you with the knowledge."

In the end, she lost, and after just a second, all her pain went away as her regeneration kicked in, and she was ready once again to fight. She stood again to fight, but Batman said, "For today, it is over. You lost again," but she was happy as she finally convinced Batman to give her some fancy toys that she always wanted."

[Flashback Ends...]

She looked at the pen drive that was now snugly sitting in her hands. She directly put it in a USB port, and it fit perfectly. And she looked at the computer as her pen drive started to do all the work. It started to decrypt and store all the files inside it at a super-fast speed. That was not something from this era.

While the files were getting recorded, she started to look around the lab. She didn't understand what it was all about. She didn't even care, to be honest, because in this lab, there was nothing that she found she could recognize. It was just too advanced of a science for her. She was still just a dumb college kid, to be honest. She didn't even recognize most of the tools that were just lying around in the lab.

After she got bored, she sat in a chair that could spin and took out her smartwatch from the darkness and started to play Mario on it to waste some time. Even though she could have been doing some searching around in the lab, she just couldn't find anything that she could use anyway. So she started to kill time by playing on her watch.

She looked at the intense Mario game that was going on. She was now on the final run of the third round where she had to beat Bowser, and she thought to herself, "How many times has Princess Peach been kidnapped? It's almost like she goes there herself to get caught by Bowser. Is she cheating on Mario, the Italian guy or something? I don't know." As she was engaged in her game, she finally got a notification that her files were recorded, and it was complete.

After she got her files, she started to leave the office, and as she was leaving, she met a small creature, a genomorph. It started to glow its eyes and looked at her, saying, "You are not with them; you are getting in the way of our plans, and you have killed so many of my brothers."

As she looked at the small genomorph, it tried to control her mind, but she shrugged it off. She was a vampire, and not just any vampire, but one of the legendary vampires. She didn't even care about this weak telepathic power it was trying to use on her. She spread her darkness and dark tendrils everywhere. Thousands of tendrils came out and started to rip apart the body of genomorph, It was a small horror show that she enjoyed. And she went away. Her plan was almost completed. And she has got more than she could even think. And she didn't even know what was in the files and the things she has copied right now in her pendrive. But she was still happy.
