DC Universe: Supreme Villain

Prologue Pain. That is the only thing that Vincent remembered before darkness filled his vision. He glanced around at the room that he now stood in. There was a desk and a man dressed in all black with a cheshire smile. “Welcome to Purgatory. I am your guide to the Afterlife; you may refer to me as Grimm.” Grimm said smiling weirdly. ‘The fuck?’ The last thing he remembered was falling asleep after a gaming session. He had been in a tournament in a new game called Apex. You created a character from various races and one innate ability chosen at random. He never passed level 100, so he did not get a chance to unlock his inheritance from the Pantheon he served. “Those above would like to extend their apologies for their mistake. You see your death was related to the recent change in rule of the Heavens.” Grimm said nonchalantly. Hearing this Vincent shivered. The thought of his existence being out of his controlled scared him. Grimm watched his change in expression and cleared his throat before standing. “Fear not due to your death being premature we will be giving you another shot at life. Unfortunately, this means we cannot return your soul to your previous body due to the rules dictated by the new reining Hegemon. So, we will be sending you to a random world with a blessing from the God of Reincarnation.” Vincent smiled at the thought of living in a whole new world. He imagined himself doing as he pleased. A giant wheel appeared shocking him from his dreams. Grimm approached the wheel and with an unceasing smile pulled the handle attached to it. The wheel made a clicking sound as it turned. After what felt like ages it stopped revealing a name that shook Vincent to the core. “Oh my, it seems as though you will have quite the adventure.” Grimm said and laughed as Vincent did a dance. Where was once a blank spot now clearly read: DC Universe.

Prologue

Pain. That is the only thing that Vincent remembered before darkness filled his vision. He glanced around at the room that he now stood in. There was a desk and a man dressed in all black with a cheshire smile.

"Welcome to Purgatory. I am your guide to the Afterlife; you may refer to me as Grimm." Grimm said smiling weirdly.

'The fuck?'

The last thing he remembered was falling asleep after a gaming session. He had been in a tournament in a new game called Apex. You created a character from various races and one innate ability chosen at random. He never passed level 100, so he did not get a chance to unlock his inheritance from the Pantheon he served.

"Those above would like to extend their apologies for their mistake. You see your death was related to the recent change in rule of the Heavens." Grimm said nonchalantly.

Hearing this Vincent shivered. The thought of his existence being out of his controlled scared him. Grimm watched his change in expression and cleared his throat before standing.

"Fear not due to your death being premature we will be giving you another shot at life. Unfortunately, this means we cannot return your soul to your previous body due to the rules dictated by the new reining Hegemon. So, we will be sending you to a random world with a blessing from the God of Reincarnation."

Vincent smiled at the thought of living in a whole new world.

"Oh my, it seems as though you will have quite the adventure." Grimm said and laughed as Vincent did a dance.

Where was once a blank spot now clearly read: DC Universe.

Clearing his throat once again Grimm effectively calming Vincent down he snapped his fingers.

"Now that we know where it's time for your blessings." Grimm said as the wheel changed revealing a list of question marks. He gestured to Vincent who looked at it in awe.

"So I will gain powers from this wheel?" Vincent asked as he stepped forward and grabbed the handle affectionately.

Grimm only smiled at his question and motioned for him to continue. With gusto Vincent pulled the handle with all of his might praying to the God of Reincarnation for a decent ability to start his new life in the Dc Universe.

After what seemed like forever the wheel stopped and revealed what lay behind the question mark shocking Vincent and the now frowning Grimm.

Immorality (Can be sealed)

"It seems like the Gods are sincere in their apologies." Grimm said recovering his chesire smile and bowing towards Vincent.

"It is an honor to be the first to greet a new Chaos Lord." Grimm said. Confused Vincent's body started to change and he felt his body being filled with a foreign power that eventually subsided almost as soon as it started.

His vision was filled with white hair and his body was dressed in a similar suit as Grimm's only he had a red dress shirt and red and black dress shoes.

His height was increased until he stood at 6' 3" and his body exuded power from his now muscle toned form.

"What is the difference between a Chaos Lord and a Lord of Chaos," Vincent asked Grimm the question that was bothering him.

"The Lords of Chaos are higher beings of great mystical power that represent chaos and acted as the avatars of the concept of change during the Ninth Age of Magic, " Grimm said and looking Vincent in his now black and red eyes, "but you are a being who reins even higher than a Lord of Chaos as a Chaos Lord. You are the very embodiment of Chaos and hold the power to create your own pantheon of Lords of Chaos through your power alone."

Vincent now understand Grimm's reaction he basically became a God from a low mortal in the blink of an eye. Inside Vincent was elated; he now had the means to do what he wanted when he wanted to do it.

"Now my Lord I must see you off. May you lead a glorious life in your new one." Grimm said and bowed as a bright light flashed and Vincent disappeared.

Now alone Grimm's face returns to a frown.

"It seems that there will be another war on the horizon. I'd better prepare for the inevitable change in my life as well; this time I will be forced to actually be involved." He said before he himself disappeared.
