"You're not telling me you've already figured out the Phantom Thief's methods? Just in one night?"

When Dick saw the sandbox Bruce had made, he realized something immediately and was shocked.

"I've thought of three different ways to get similar results, but only one has been useful as an example."

Bruce replied.

"As I said before, you should find time to improve your detective skills instead of just being reckless. If you are smarter than the Phantom Thief, you won't always lose to him."

Bruce added.

Dick's mouth twitched as he listened, and he was briefly speechless.

In fact, Dick's thinking ability was already very fast, especially for a young genius like him.

Even though the Phantom Thief was often one step ahead of him, Dick could always figure out the Phantom Thief's real plan in the end, except for a few special parts.

Obviously, that was the white cloth the Phantom Thief used to cover the Bat-Signal, an important part of the Phantom Thief's trick.

"The first way is to assume that Phantom Thief has access to some form of spatial technology, such as the Boom Tube or future technology from the 30th century or 64th century. The medium for this spatial technology could be some hidden object, or it could be this piece of cloth."

Bruce said it with a serious expression.

Dick blinked as he thought about this. Bruce's words were not mistakes or wild guesses; they were based on facts.

For example, the Flash from Central City often goes on vacation in the 30th century and occasionally brings back some "souvenirs".

Even the Flash's archenemy, Reverse Flash, was from the future and traveled in the 25th century.

"Remember Abra Kadabra? He came from the 64th century and started by disguising himself as a regular magician, and no one could tell he was using future technology. Can you be sure that Phantom Thief is not doing the same?"

Bruce's calm question left Dick deep in thought.

In fact, he couldn't be sure that the Phantom Thief was using standard magic.

It was easy to make magic or future technology look like standard magic, and Dick couldn't tell the difference.

Because of the limitations of the time, there was a good chance that not only Dick but also Bruce would be tricked.

The issue of magic was not that complicated, as Bruce could always consult Zatanna.

What worried him more was advanced technology from countless centuries in the future. There was no way to detect it with current technology.

"The first two possibilities are less likely, so I think the third possibility makes more sense."

At this point, Bruce changed his focus and began explaining the last possibility he had considered.
