A/N yup, its castlevania, its a perfect world for him to level up, (specially through the infinite corridor and the place where Dracula and his wife ended up, if you know what i mean)

"You are taken, Sypha," the man said as the woman smiled. "Now then, do you want to take him, or should I?" The man lashed out with his maxed whip, attempting to ensnare Cain. However, Cain suddenly caught the maze end of the chain, staring coolly at the man who chuckled. "Oh, I love it when they catch, trying to be badass," the man remarked. The maze end heated up, but Cain, with an unyielding expression, did not flinch. The explosion from the maze scorched some of the fur on Cain's coat, prompting him to extinguish the flames with his scaled hand. He then yanked the chain, pulling the man toward him so swiftly that the man couldn't react. A punch to the gut sent the man sprawling back toward the wagon.

"Trevor!" yelled the woman named Sypha as she checked on Trevor, who was still somewhat okay. Cain hadn't exerted all his strength into that punch. "Yup, you should definitely take him," Cain suggested. Sypha brought her index and middle fingers forward, spewing a continuous burst of fire that reached Cain. However, he was immediately surrounded by an actual bubble shield, deflecting the fire back into Sypha, who hurriedly put up her shield to defend herself.

"Ok, this might be harder than I thought," she admitted as Trevor got up, preparing for battle. Cain reverted to his human form, putting on his hoodies fur, and said, "That would be the one and only chance that you get away with attacking me." He turned around, walking in a different direction, leaving Sypha and Trevor looking at each other. "Sorcerer?" Trevor asked. "Probably," Sypha replied. "Guess we were lucky he didn't try to kill us," Trevor said as they boarded the wagon. "We could have tried harder," Sypha said, trying to look optimistic. "And it looked like he wasn't even trying," Trevor replied.

-Scene Change-

In the midst of the void, numerous floating rocks formed a large platform where piles of books were scattered. A fireplace flickered, a log stump served as a seat, several furs layered on top, and a small log with a fur over it served as a bed. Cain meditated peacefully in this surreal scene.

After a few minutes, he raised his hand and brought it down, touching the ground. A thin sheet of ice rapidly extended forth in a 15-foot cone, rupturing and causing spikes of ice to launch skyward. Cain was careful not to hit the fire or the books on the platform. He retracted his hand, causing all the ice to melt into nothingness. "Hmm," he pondered before waving his hand in the air. Twenty-one duplicates appeared, and then he resumed meditation.

As he meditated, each duplicate created a golem heart and threw it onto a nearby floating rock, turning that rock into a golem. They commanded these golems to swim through the void toward the main platform. As the golems neared the platform, they were automatically absorbed into it, even destroying the golem hearts in the process. The duplicates didn't seem to mind, continuing to repeat the task, gradually enlarging the platform.

The expansion continued until all duplicates fanished and as cain continued to regain his mana charges, he would at once release all duplicate to continue the expansion, earning xp in the process as well as expanding this platform which he plans to turning it into his wizard tower, but that is all in the future, for now, he plants to expand it as far as he could.

-scene change-

Walking along a mud-streaked road that led to the entrance of a small town, Cain could be seen entering as rain poured down heavily. He didn't seem to mind the rain. *SCREAM* A loud scream echoed, causing him to pause briefly before continuing. His eyes landed on a creature with black skin, bat-like ears, and glowing green eyes. It walked on four legs, with small bioluminescent patches and a long leathery tail. "Hmm," was his only response.

The creature, deeming him a nice enough meal, sprinted toward him. Cain raised his left hand, almost forming a fist before reconsidering. Instead, his shadow swirled as Tank crawled out and sprinted towards the creature. Their collision made a thud sound as Tank aimed for the creature's neck, biting into it and ripping it out, red blood spilling as the creature fell.

More creatures appeared, but Cain had no intention of making a move yet. Tank handled all four of them before trotting back to his side, a happy pup. Cain petted him, saying, "Maybe you are not as useless as I thought," before moving through the destroyed town.

\[Scene Change\]

Snow began to appear as Cain walked further, directionless. The area around him was covered in heavy snow, and he left visible traces as he walked atop it. The sun was nowhere to be seen. However, he wasn't the only one making traces. He arrived in a clearing with a small pond. Standing in the pond was Trevor, the man with the mazed whip. Trevor noticed Cain's presence, surprise on his face.

"It's you. What are you doing here? Are you following me?" he asked, hand on his waist where his whip was. Cain didn't bother with him, walking past him. "Crazy," Cain mumbled as he continued away. "I heard that," Trevor said, but Cain didn't stop to respond. "I definitely heard that, and all of a sudden..." His voice got quieter by the second when someone interrupted him. "All of a sudden, your world changes and you don't know what to do," said the voice as Trevor turned around.

An old, bald white man appeared, hands behind his back. "You were following me, weren't you?" Trevor asked. The old man found himself a seat. "This is my place of peace," he said, observing the disappearing figure of Cain. "A friend of yours?" he asked as Trevor scoffed. "Just another crazed monster hunter," Trevor replied as the old man shrugged. "Ah, another Belmont. I thought you were the last Belmont," the old man said as Trevor sighed.

"Definitely not a Belmont," Trevor replied, finding a seat. "Why don't you invite him to your quest?" The old man suggested. Trevor responded, "I don't know anything about him, aside from the fact that he is strong," before their conversation turned to their current objective.
