Deep inside Nanda Parbat sounds of bodies hitting the floor, weapons clashing, and the smell of blood fills the room in which Alistair and his brother Damian train on a nearly daily basis.

Who were they fighting? criminals brought in by their mother to fight her sons to the death. They are trained to use deadly force in nearly every situation.

But the boys never learned the same lesson, they were taught to work together and complement each other in battle.

Damian impressed those around him and far surpassed his peers, but his brother was on another level entirely.

Thanks to Alistair's mature personality and the fact he has the soul and memories of a war veteran from his previous life, learning skills and martial arts was as easy as breathing.

Despite his aged personality, he grew to become nearly inseparable from his brother. He was surprised that his angry, impulsive brother never had any grudge or jealousy towards him, instead, Damian took it as a constant challenge that helped him grow at an extreme speed.

Now, as midnight hits, he sits in his own room, looking up at the moon as he feels a surge of power enters his body like clockwork.

What else did he wish for before his reincarnation? He wished to gain a random superpower every year at midnight on the eve of his birthday. and a small system to keep track of his powers.

Of course, he knew that his third wish could have been way more powerful but being raised by Ra's al Ghul, trained by the League of Assassins, being the son of the richest man on the planet, and gaining a superpower every year, he was happy with what he had.

[Author's Note: All of his superpowers will be randomized on powerlisting.fandom.com, that way, it keeps the story fresh, even i have no idea what power's he will end up with, making it fun to write]

Over the years in his new life, his old personality and his new one have intertwined to make a better one.

His old personality gives him maturity beyond his years, insight, knowledge, confidence in his skills, and a realistic view of the world.

His newer, younger persona gives him wit, immature jokes, the joy of annoying others, and arrogance in his abilities... after all, there aren't any many ten-year-olds that could be named the heir to the Demon's Throne.

Why would the Demon's Head, Ra's al Ghul name a child as his heir? it wasn't only due to the boy's insane intellect or callous personality, Grandpa Ghul knows of his Alistair's yearly abilities.

A month after his birth, Alistair touched a rare meteorite kept in the treasury under guard, the boy was in a coma for nearly a year until his body started to glow on the eve of his birthday.

When the boy awoke, it was obvious he had changed from within, after sending his blood to a scientist that served the League of Assassins, it was confirmed that the boy was now immune to all forms of poisons, toxins, diseases, and bacteria.

His body, if dissected and studied, could theoretically cure cancer, among many other ailments.

Ra's almost agreed with the scientist until the boy's second birthday when his body started to glow and change again.

He asked his grandson what happened, once he found out that his grandson would receive yearly abilities, he knew what to do.

He officially declared to everyone, allies and enemies, that Alistair Wayne would be known as the Demon Spawn, heir to the throne. and the Prince of Darkness.

His days were therefore spent training diligently with his brother and mother but his nights were spent learning his grandfather's knowledge.

From business to governing a kingdom, he has been raised to act and make decisions that would be favorable for the future of Nanda Parbat.

On his eighth birthday, he was granted permission to make his own company of assassins that would serve him and him alone.

His second ability came in handy for this, he was able to choose those that had hidden potential and near-limitless growth.

Walking through the halls of his home, the guards bow their heads as he passes by them, entering his grandfather's study without knocking, he sees the immortal man reading over some letters.

"Gramps, I'm here to notify you of my new ability, it's another passive one but one i think you might like", he says with a smile on his face as stands next to the older gentleman.

Ra's sits back in his chair, looking at his heir with his normal stoic expression but obvious affection in his eyes, "Don't keep me in suspense"

The boy nods, "Calm Mind, it negates all forms of harmful emotions and mental ailments such as PTSD, blind rage, depression, etc."

His grandfather twirls the pen that is in his hand, "I very good ability for when you become the Demon's Head"

"I have been so busy lately that i forgot to inform you, Damian has been sent by your mother to live with Bruce Wayne, your father, i hope that the next few years will help him grow into a great asset and right-hand man for you"

This genuinely surprised Alistair but he simply remained calm and nodded his head, "What of me? i suspect that you will send me somewhere to grow too"

A small smile appears on the older man's face, "You will also be going to Gotham, you will take your Shadows with you, it's been a long time since we had a base of operations in that city, i want you to make one and get it up and running, make allies and strengthen our connections there"

"You will take a decent sum of money with you, it will help with bribes and purchasing property, remember that you represent this family and organization with every word and action", he says looking deep into the boy's eyes.

The boy matches the man's gaze, "Have no fear, gramps, i won't fail you"

After a quick hug, Alistair takes his leave before notifying his company of shadows and leaving for the city of crime.
