Chapter 17
As far as I know now and what I've gotten to understand about this world was that everyone I knew was the exact opposite of what they were in my reality, or to be more specific, what I had wished they would be, in other words creating my perfect world...
Not trying to sound funny at all but everything kinda feels like one of those optical illusion thingys from Naruto me and my Zack back home used to watch... What's it's called again.... Ehn... Genjutsu...right?
Anyways, I really miss everyone and how life was imperfect with all my family and friends, these people here right now are not my family and I have a feeling bumping into Robert here is the missing piece of puzzle I need to escape this place, I just he didn't have any major change i was going to regret...
"So tell me, what's the problem here" Robert asked with attentive eyes
"I don't think you'd be able to help me... Besides it's really complicated and you might just think I'm crazy" I said taking a short sip of my drink, God it was good
"Nah.. I've worked part-time with a therapist before, so I can work with crazy... N-not that you're crazy, I mean you're beautiful b-but I-I I mean what's I mean is y-your condition no I mean situation or... No that's not the right thing to say, I'll stop talking now..." Robert said embarrassed at himself which made him look really cute
His confusion was so adorable I didn't know I'd started giggling already "You have a nice smile, you should smile more often" Robert said looking deep into my eyes as if looking for something
"Alright, Hit me" he said casually after
"With what??"
"What?!?"
"You said to hit you... With what??" I asked as confused as Robert was
"Ooh no.. no, I meant start talking, a problem shared is half solved... Are you picking up what I'm putting down, besides a hit from you might be fatal to my heart" Robert said sending me a wink
I busted out laughing and blushing at the same time as I tried to cover up the littl gasps that left my mouth while I laughed... "I'm happy you find me funny, now can you open up, we don't have much time cupcake"
"Mmmh... Ok, so...." I narrated everything to Robert except the parts that included magic part
"So you're telling me, you might have hit your head and woken up in an alternate dimension where everything and everyone is different and acts different than where you were and you can also do thing you never thought you could do and now everyone is turning evil keeping you on tight surveillance every single moment of the day, including your family... Did I get all that??" Robert said summarize my 10 minute speech
I nodded my head slowly in response, waiting for him to tell me how crazy I was... But
"In this dimension of yours, were you and I, like a thing, I mean dating and stuff" Robert said with playfulness written all over his face and maybe a glimmer of hope...
He was across the table from me, so I looked around pretending I didn't want anyone listened on us then I told him to come closer which he egaerly did before I gave him a punch on his left arm
"Hey... What you do that for, I have to wait tables you know, I need my arm and shoulder for that" He said rubbing the affected area
"Well maybe next time you keep those thoughts to yourself" I said triumphantly folding my arms with a smile.
"Wow, you are one girl who packs a punch" Robert said rubbing raising his arm, that made me feel abit sad and apologetic...
"Well, that aside, your situation is rather tricky and definitely surreal but I don't believe it's impossible" Robert words made my eyes shoot wide open at him...
So I really was right, he might be the light at the end of the tunnel I've been waiting for...
