I was applying the finishing touches to my room knowing hey would soon arrive
Knock Knock!!! They're Here
The girls were by the door while I was upstairs, "Zee would you mind getting the door" I called from my room doing a final inspection before my guest came up
I heard the girls come in, I took a last look at the mirror before I ran downstairs
"Hello ladies, welcome to my humble abode" I said taking a bow by the end of the stairs
"Aren't you girls looking beautiful this evening" My Mom complimented the girls
"Hi Mrs Anderson" the girls chorused
"Come on, I've already told to you call me Stella, Mrs Anderson makes me feel old, you know what I mean" Mom whined like a little kid making us all burst into laughter except Zoe that is....
The girls all looked cute all dressed up especially AJ who oddly felt like she was trying to avoid me at all cost
While everyone was having a chat with Mom, I made myself comfortable beside AJ who shifted uncomfortably
"Hey A- I mean Alexa, is something wrong?" I asked genuinely concerned
"I-I'm fine, Mrs Anderson, Sorry Stella, can I have a glass of water" AJ asked totally ignoring me
I watched as she walked away, I guess Danny noticed too cuz' she tried to lighten up the mood
"Stella, Do you mind we have some dinner before we go up" Danny asked
"Sure" Mom said getting up
"I'll come help set the table" Valery volunteered
Immediately they left they room, Danny moved closer to me "Hey Kid, you alright" She asked looking abit worried
"What, I'm fine, great, super" I replied trying to forge a smile on my face
"You know you can cry in front of me, I'll always be here to listen" Danny said wiping the tear I hadn't known was there
Unconsciously I wiped my face before the other could see me
"Dinner's ready girls" my Mom called
"Let's go, we'll talk about this with the girls later ok" Danny tried to assure me but I could only nod and follow behind her
As usual Mom's dinner was amazing, we were all talking at the table when Zack walked in
"Mom I'm hung-. Mom why's our dinning room filled with girls? Is this an invasion or something" Zack asked leaning on the wall all cool and all...
"Zack, your sister's having a sleepover party" Mom explained
Zack nodded his head as if he understood "Well if that's the case, I can't be the only guy in the house so.... Can I stay over at Carter's house or invite my friends over?" Zack asked skillfully bargaining with my Mom
Mom turned and give me a look "What do you girls think" She asked
"I don't really care, as long as we're not disturbed and I can get my beauty sleep, or someone wouldn't be able to sleep for a while" Valery said not looking up from her food
Now that I think about it my Valery, the cute Valery had a crush on Zack but she thought he was too childish for her, even though they're both babies, but thus Zack was way more cool and reserved than my Zack back home, I'm sure Valery would have been head over heels for Zack now...
"I think Zack should be with guys his age, so anything's fine by me. He reminds me so much of Ethan when he was younger and I would have this sorts of parties" Danny said nugging me abit
"W-whatever, Do whatever you want Zack, is that okay Mom" I asked
"Sure sweetie, whatever decision you make is surly right" Mom's reply was kinda off but who am I to say anything, she's the boss around here
But seriously, I was always used to Mom taking charge over everything which was honestly kinda annoying but still she was my Mom.
But something just wasn't right here, I could feel it, oh well the night was still young, we'd get to that eventually, right?
Zack nodded his head and walked out of the room, I guess he already made up his mind on what to do then...
"Dad, dude's night, I'm calling the guys and ordering pizza" Zack called from the living room
"I'll have mine with pineapple topping, I'll just be a minute"
We all laughed from the kitchen, boys will be boys
"Are we having pizza too" Valery asked
"Nop, even better. Homemade cupcakes and cookies" I announced giddily
This was definitely going to be a night to remember.
