Chapter nine

Ava's point of view

I arrived at the café ten minutes late.Jesus I need your blessings right now.Whilist running towards my locker I bumped into Mrs Goldfeathers.Shit.

"I'm so sorry mam,it wasn't in my intention to come late I just...."

"Hush child it's okay but I need you to go serve table number 7 as all the other waiters are occupied."

"I'll get right on with it."

I grabbed my working outfit and walked over towards table number seven and .O. M.G. I stopped dead in my tracks as I stared at the three men sitting at the table.

One had dark brown hair with a neat and sexy beard.He looked fit with his bushy eyebrows.WOW.Then next to him was a guy who screamed power.He has black hair with his full eyebrows and silver like eyes.

Jesus help me.But the one who caught my eyes has got jett black hair and his full plum,juicy,pink lips.I tried looking at his eyes but the were masked with mystery and a look at that says danger.Okay changed my mind,he screams power.And he is definitely the most attractive amongst the three of them.

I saw all three of them turning their heads towards me.At first I thought that someone else called them but then I remembered that I was actually standing half way from their table licking my lips.Shit. They saw me.Can the ground just swallow me whole.

I saw the guy with the mysterious look smirking at me.Oh please smirk all day and melt my heart away.I slowly walked towards them and cleared my throat trying to sound as confident as possible.

"Good morning and welcome to Goldfeathers café may I take your order."

Guy number one spoke first.

"I'll have coffee,two spoons of sugar with milk."

Guy number two spoke next.

"I'll also have the same."

As I wrote down their orders I realised that guy number three,my secret mysterious god hadn't ordered anything.

"What about you sir."

I patiently waited for him as he looked me up and down scanning every single angle of my body.Just that simple gesture had shivers running down my spine.Man why couldn't I meet him at the beach were he could scan me properly in my two peace bikini.After an awkward silence of him scanning me he spoke lowly but not that low as I was able to catch what he said.

"What's your name."

"Umm Ava."

"Ava"

As he rolled my name on his tongue I felt shivers going down my spine again.How the hell did he have such an affect on me already.

"How old are you."

"Seventeen turning eighteen next week Tuesday."

"Where are you from "

"South Africa."

God how I hate doing this,it feels as if he's just pushing buttons that make me answer him without asking questions.I saw him rubbing his chin as he thought about my answer. I knew that this would happen,as soon as he found out where I'm from he would loose interest in me.

"I'll have the same but black."

I knew it,he has already lost interest in me.I couldn't help but feel disappointed.I sighed and walked away to get their orders ready.As I walked away I felt as if someone was burning holes at the back of my head but I ignored them and got to work.

As I returned my ex mysterious god stared at me with sympathy and sadness in his eyes but quickly masked it as soon as he saw me coming.I placed the coffees Infront of their owners and walked away waiting for them for them to signal me to collect the money.

After a while of waiting guy number 2 signaled me over and I walked towards them quickly.The sooner they leave the quicker I can get over my crush hurting me.Was he even my crush,I barely just met him like thirty minutes ago so it couldn't be considered a crush,or could it.As they got up to leave my ex mysterious god handed me 300 bucks.

As I reached over to take it he held my hand in his and gently placed the money in it.Before I could say anything he smiled a sad but wicked smile and walked away leaving me standing at the table alone looking as dumb as ever.

I unfolded the money and found a note in the middle of it.As I read it a smile crept on my face.

Keep the two hundred bucks,you deserve it.

Call me

I started squealing and jumping around like a child who just got a new toy not even caring that there were customers around me.I stopped when I heard a deep sexy chuckle behind me.When I turned around I found my mysterious god on his cool racing motorbike laughing at me.

I looked down out of embarrassment and walked away.As I walked back to the cashier I found Mrs Goldfeathers smiling at me like she knew something I didn't know.As she walked away I saw one of the waiters, Charlotte McKenzie's twin,giving me a death glare.

That got me wondering if were they both dating but if they were he would have talked to her one way or another.Great I don't even know his name and there's already a jealous bitch.I walked away from her and continued with my job.God I can't wait to get home and text him.Squeee. Can this day get any better honestly.
