chapter 2

In a rainy day, people who are dressed in black is gathereed together, surrounding a coffin. Their expression is sterned, but you could see sadness in their eyes. You could see a young girl hugging the coffin crying, her eyes are swollen and you could tell from her eyes that she cried all night long. She could still remember her brother's last words.

"Take care of yourself and mom and dad" He said while touching her right cheek with his warm hand that slowly becomes colder.

"Dear, let's give him a peaceful goodbye" her mother said while holding her tears back. She nodded then stood beside her mother while letting her tears flow out of her eyes

"Today.....we unfortunately lost a good soul, He is kind, and very considerate to other people." he said then look around the crying people.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." he continued with a stern mixed with sadness in his voice.

Inside of a room where the light barely goes in, a young man that is lying down on his back with his eyes closed. Two beauties are looking at him that looks similar to each other.

"brother, hasn't woken up yet after that incident mom" She said with a teary eyes, as she hug her mother.

"Those bastard has became more straight forward with their bullying. Don't worry lilly your dad is gonna do something about this" she said while comforting her daughter.

"If brother never wakes up again, I will take revenge against their family with my own hands when I grow up" she said with vigor.

"mmmhmm! give me five more minutes...." suddenly a sleepy voice said, hearing the voice the two look at each other with confusion then look towards the young boy that is lying in the bed.

"I'm so sad that I'm hallucinating" lilly said after checking that her brother is still sleeping.

"yeah, maybe I'm tired so lets rest" her mother said then left the room together with her daughter.

left alone, his brain starts to wake up. He opens gis eyes and saw an unfamiliar ceiling.

"what the?" he mutters then decided to look to his surrounding.

"where am I? am I dreaming?" he thought to himself as he sat at the edge of the bed. As he was doing so he could feel a sharp pain coming from his stomach and chest.

"this pain is too realistic...." he mutters then started to panic, as his heart beat increases. He starts coughing aggressively as clench his chest as he felt just by breathing.

after a while he starts to see everything more clearly and his surrounding starts to lit up as if he is glowing.

'what just happened?' he mutters, he looks around and soon realized that he is in a different room.

'where am I?' he asks himself while getting out of his bed. He opens the curtain and looks outside. He is currently surrounded by a lot of trees and he could see someone in the middle of those tree sitting in a luxurious resting place.

a/n: I don't know how to describe it but its those things that qppears in anime where the nobles drinks tea while admiring the nature.

A butler, maid, and a beautiful girl could be seen in the middle drinking her tea while the butler refills her cup from time to time.

'Am I dreaming? no, the pain a felt just now was truly painful there's no way its a dream' he mumbles then decided to go to the bathroom to look at his appearance.

He opens the door to get out of the house, and suddenly he heard a familiar noise.

'why can I hear that crystal lizard?' he mutters to himself as he follows the sound of it. The glittering sound from it is so familiar for him, since he would kill this thing everytime he encounters it.

He runs around the whole house looking for it until a maid noticed him.

"y-young master? YOUNG MASTER! YOU'RE AWAKE!" the maid shouted then hugs him. He looks over while the maid was shouting and saw a young red short haired girl running towards him.

"w-who?" he instinctively asks then closed his mouth so he won't say something unnecessary.

"y-young master? did you lose your memory?" she said with a sad tone while looking up to him without letting go of her hug. As soon as she blurted those words out his memories started to flood in.

"christine, sorry I just woke up and my brain is not functioning properly" he said then wipe her tears.

"I'm glad" she said with a happy smile.

Christine is a commoner and is the child of their headmaid. They have been friends with each other ever since they were a child so you can call her a childhood friend of this body. She seems to really precious the memories that they made for each other.

"by the way, what were you doing walking around the mansion?" he asks her with a confused expression, since at this time maids are supposed to prepare their lunch.

"oh, I was gonna check up on you. Young master" she said with a glad expression.

"oh, I forgot. Since master is already awake you should eat lunch with your parents. All of them are worried about you ever since that accident happened between you and duke herald's son" she said while getting angrier by mentioning the name of the duke that harmed her young master.

"yeah, I guess I should show my face to my family" he said then followed christine towards the dining hall.

As soon as he enters the room; the family who is conversing while smiling is now looking towards him with teary eyes except for his father.

"R-Reo! My son! You're awake!" his mother shouted while running up to hug him. As soon as his mother hugs him, memories about his family starts to flood in his brain.

"Finally you are awake reo! You better start training and get your revenge on that bastard! If you lose again; I won't forgive you!" he said while looking at him with pride mixed with kindness towards him.

Reo didn't say anything and just nodded in agreement. He doesn't really know what is heppening right now and all he remembers are about his family. He doesn't really have a reason to resent the person who beated him up.

*grumbles

"oh, lets eat now. Sit down Reo"

after eating lunch, he learnt a lot of things about this world. This world is filled with knights, magician, and mythical creatures. Mythical creatures such as dragons are rare, while creatures such as goblins, hobgoblins, etc are hunted by adventurers to trade for money.

His family resides in the heart kingdom. His father's status is that he is a friend of the king. His father is only a normal adventurer back in his days and one day the king snuck out of his palace to gain some experience about the outside world. The king is naturally a tyrant as a kid and would rebel against his father. The king signed up as an adventurer without his father knowing about it. That is when his father met the king. The two naturally became friends, since both of them are the same age; but his father is far superior and talented with the sword. His father taught the king survival skills, and hunting skills.

"that is all I know about him, I don't know about what my father did before he met the king and who my grandfather is" he mutters while looking at the ceiling. Suddenly he started to feel sleepy again.

As he closes his eyes he started to smell fire. He started to wonder what that smell is, so he opens his eyes.

"Ashen one, you're finally awake" a familiar voice that he heard multiple times when he was in his original world.
