4. School Mana

When Sin entered his house he was met with an alcoholic odor and sure enough, Mark's father was passed out on the couch with beer bottles everywhere. The rest of the house was a mess because it was ransacked. Sin carefully made his way through until he met Mark's Room.

Sin sat down on Mark's bed and began to think to himself 'This world seems to have evolved via technological enhancements rather than magic.. it seems the Void Rift hasn't arrived yet.. They'll be unprepared when it does. Thankfully, there's enough technology for my Mage's Tower, but I need a strong monster core to operate it.. where is there a monster in this world?' Sin got up after cleaning Mark's room up a bit. He changed into a different pair of clothes because he was still wearing his school uniform.

He walked out of his house once more, originally he only came here to see the living status Mark had. It was currently now night outside, with a cool breeze that penetrated most people's bodies.

'Mana Sense!' Sin activated a spell, it was a low cost one that could be activated without any mana. It allowed the caster to see the largest amounts of mana directly with his eyes.

'Strange. The largest mana seems to be coming from the school, is there something that Mark didn't know about?' Sin was very confused and went in the direction of the school

The walk there was pretty normal, to most it would be extremely cold and would just go back inside, but Sin was used to adversity. He walked to the school without a care in the world, until he finally reached the doors leading in.

'It seems the mana is acting up in my classroom!' Sin rushed up and opened the door, he was surprised. 9 of his classmates including James were against the walls with a giant spider web keeping them there! They were completely unconscious. Above them was the culprit..

It was one of the girls from class, her head was large with 8 eyes, she had blonde hair and her body was that of a gigantic spider's!

'Interesting.. thought the Void isn't here.. the Demons are.' Sin thought to himself

"Good.. good.. more food for me!" The spider said in a deep voice and lunged at Sin!

"You just made a huge mistakes, lowly demon! I am your Supreme Leader! Though, I suppose you would have no clue!" Sin had a strange look on his face, he was both angry and annoyed at the same time.
