Bring more into his Camp Part 3 Children Play & the Black Spring

Finding the small grotto on teh Plateau, Shen Yue shot off to it that night. The warriors three following with. Little Nie Yu had woken up to use the potty and spotted them zipping through the air.

'Ummm, that feels like Master Liang Yu?' Staring at the speeding figures, she rembered she had to potty and put it out of her little head. "Ohh, to much juice!" Running off she felt that more important.

The grotto had a small man-made opening inside. They didn't touch the ground as they floated inward. So far they found nothing of importance. But a lot of resources for Shen Yue once they went through an opening.

*Schup!* The skeletons of demon beasts and humans were all tossed into the Flame Vortex Core. Despite the amount he gathered, more and more were visible as they moved.

The Officers were happy he looked to be in better spirits. A few weapons survived which Shen Yue allowed them all to take for study and later use.

*Bwoom!* A small barrier stopped them from moving forward for a moment. With backhand, Shen Yue shattered it and stepped inside. At the end of the path, a magma river, volcanoes, and other mountainous formations were there.

"Well.. must be my birthday." Shen Yue reached his hand out while removing a large Metal bowl from his Internal Space. He dipped it into the Magma scooping up the lava. The Runes reacting instantly to the heat holding. "That is one. Time to fill them all up before leaving."

The 1st Officer and 3rd Officer moved to another area doing the same. In three hours they depleted the level of 5 lava pools. Storing them they left after putting up a Formation to erect a Barrier as well as Detection Arrays they left.

A figure I the shadows had watched them leave but left them alone when they didn't attack a single person they pumped into. Just leaving them alone. The person in the shadows did not act for that reason as well as he couldn't tell the level of those who left.

Taking out the the Metal Bowels with lava, Shen Yue was happy the heat was maintained in each of them. Having two out, he disrobed not to ruin his close and stepping inside.

"Are you nuts!?" Someone yelled. Yang Xin did not believe it when he said was to be used as a cultivation method for the body and for those who had fire demon spirits. "Gonna burn to death the moment you spirit energy runs out!"

"He isn't using spirit energy. This is just his physical body at work." Shen Xiu stated. She looked on with lidded eyes at this. 'What are you up to I wonder?'

Spreading his Astral Sense out, the lava started to churn. Using the Flame Martial Arts learned from the previous Dimension, the energy was pulled inside at an alarming rate.

Fire Body reacting slightly before it was restrained. He didn't need to advance it again just yet.

Near the other bowl, the 1st and 3rd Officers got into it. As well as a few of the soldiers who specialized in this. The constant circulation of their spirit energy against the heat kept their focus.

The medical team is on standby for any casualties. Lucky there were none so far. Seeing a few of their loves ones trying the insane procedure ad not dying instantly, a few left to get to their work.

'Those skeletons need to be refined with that residual energy. Hopefully, they are really old and can give me information on the area and that of the Nether Realm.' Shen Yue focused on the Flame Vortex Core speeding up the refinement process. 'Should I just swallow the Soul Force in teh area, or do I leave it be?'

In the end, he left it be for now. The people just disagreed to come with him as well as good through the registration process. Borderline in becoming a tyrant if he wasn't careful.

With the plateau people not causing a ruckus about them setting up a town, even working with them when it was established additional work was available for them. Lu Ning knew just how to put the people to work.

Shen Yue was enjoying the scenery as he cultivated diligently. The Thundergod Meteorite Sword floating in front of him. The Laws circulating continuously as the Purple Smoke Stones were devoid of the Soul Force inside as well as the poison itself.

As the stones floated, Shen Yue placed his Vortex Energy inside them. His understanding of Medicine entering them along with basic knowledge and understanding. Small runes appeared on the stones by the second.

Several militia members were practicing nearby enjoying the sunlight. With the pull created by Shen Yue and the bountiful energy, they made rapid advancements. Enough to give them better chances in surviving in the area. Let alone back home.

The Black Star Tiger Cubs had grown to a decent size. They ran around the plains carefree and happy. Only a few children from the Dark Moon Family with them. As things go, someone always causes an issue.

"What do you want!?" A child looked at a few of the locals. She backed away towards the others. Playing very fearful. "We weren't doing anything but playing! So go away!"

"Now now little girl, just come with uncle here." The burly Xiao Lang underestimated the situation as he reached out to her. His face was pleasant but that didn't take away from the air of the man. 'Just need a single brat to exchange for some resources. Even have a little fun as well.'

*Schick!* A cut came down from the sky cutting the man in two. A blade made of flame passed around taking out the others in the blink of an eye. The children stored the bodies away in their storage rings and went back to playing.

Even if Shen Yue did not act, the children could have cut the men down themselves. Only reason they were allowed to play so freely was that they passed the Survival Tests to do so. The Dark moon Family was not raising sheep for the slaughter.

Nie Yu and her group had met up with the kids and found out what happened. Nodding that something was wrong with the place a little, they started patrolling the area acting as a little militia.

It was both cute and terrifying as the kids were stronger than a lot of adults. Zhang Ming, and Wei Nan found out and joined them acting as those in charge of the little militia group. It would help to provide backup in case they ran into some serious trouble.

Nie Xiaori and Nie Xiaofeng were part of a group dipping into the Laval Bowls. One of the few times they weren't guarding her.

What he picked up from the Grotto was not enough language wise besides for the Nether Realm. With a few odd cultivation manuals obtained. Enough to restore them and rewrite them for others to use.

Within the Plateau, a crevice led downward pretty far. Five Officers went to preparing Killing Arrays. Shen Xiu working with them to make sure it was strong enough to kill even creatures above the Legend Realm. Yang Xin and Gu Yan setting up Restriction Arrays to make traps.

Shen Yue walked through the swamp absorbing the toxins as he went. The Flame Vortex Core pulsed from the constant refinement. Greedily taking in the poisonous Swamp Miasma. His Astral Sense reaching out identifying each corpse in the area.

The Officers snatching them up taking to him. Seeing him just engulfed them in flame they wanted to ask why they just didn't dispose of the bodies themselves. But feeling Patriarch Shen Yue getting stronger with each step, they understood enough that it had to do with his Cultivation method.

Each of the Officers and Shen Yue walked above the ground not touching it. The Officers were each in the Legend Realm 2nd Rank. With Shen Yue's close Officers each at the Legend Realm 3rd Rank. With the 2nd Officer borderline on the 4th Rank. Her training with the Halberd and Law taking up her studies more.

The Science Team went to work on taking samples and setting up a small forwarding camp. A Concealment Array going up to act as a safeguard from beasts and others passing through.

"Let's go down." Shen Yue said as he descended into the canyon. Those coming with on guard for any suprises. "Make sure you keep the lookout for the 1st squad coming. Put them to work immediately on arriving."

They nodded not stopping the work conducted. The first to arrive was not the 1st squad. Xiao Ninger arrived with a few people. Having explored the place, they saw them passing by and came to see what was up.

"Looks dangerous. Let's see if we can offer a hand." She moved forward with Huyan Lanruo following with. A strange look on her face. "I take you didn't know what was going on here?"

"Nope. Their are so many operations in place, I stop checking most days." Lanruo shrugged but seeing the movement patterns, she at least knew this was design for kill first and capture if they were unable to do that. "I really don't think I will like what is happening."

Shen Yue's Astral Sense brushed against the arriving party. He was just letting them know that he knew they were here.

"So many blasted old engraved runes." Shen Yue pulled back his Astral Sense running over each of them. 'If not for those refined in the ruins, I would have trouble with this blasted language.'

The circulation of his Astral Sense and his Flame Vortex Core pulling in the poison and refining the bodies started to take a toll. Going non-stop was draining but it had to be done before stopping to take a break.

Two days later Shen Yue figured it out after trial and error with a lot of backlashes. His soul was attacked from the Offensive Runes in place. But he at least gained a few more rune methods to mix with those from Star Martial God Technique Dimension. The translation also increased his understanding of the language and Laws somewhat.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Yang Xin had come down to see his progress. Seeing him recovering in front of a wall she thought it might have failed. Whatever he was doing anyway. "You look terrible.."

Shen Yue continued to restore his spent energy. Popping another Black Gold Vortex Pill. It was the last one but it would do the trick along with some of the Elixers he had already.

"Need to do a lot of refinement when getting back." Shen Yue muttered. "As for looking terrible, meh." He gave a shrug. The rampant recovery of his spent soul force left her in awe a little. "If any preparations can be made to the area, I suggest doing so."

"They are already on it. Change your mind about this Humanitarian Aid restriction?" He shook no to that. Which made her a little upset. "The people could really use the help. All the food we have collected has already been distributed. Most of the medicine to. They literally had people dying from hunger in some groups."

"Well, they can trade the bodies for medical use to you. Then you can trade it for food with us." Shen Yue kept restoring himself to peak condition. Next was a quick pass of the area that revealed nothing of note. 'Those two Legend Realm Demon Beasts are nowhere in sight. I didn't even detect them on the Plateau. Maybe they are elsewhere considering the time frame is really early.'

The macabre suggestion only caused Yang Xin to frown. It was bad enough a few reacted badly to the medicine administered to them. With no spirit energy themselves, the Alchemist Association had to provide their own to help them.
