Honered Rest and Renown.

[Throughout heaven and Earth I alone am the Honored one]- Buddha, -Gojo Satoru, -Mikey. -???

...

"So he made his way all the way out from the tenth floor?" Finn looks at the ground while speaking, he can easily trace the fight over there.

"There were also the magic stones dispersed all around," Riveria commented as she marveled at how insane all of this was.

Looking at this from a purely theoretical point of view, the man named Noctis should have died right here and there.

"He is strong!" Ais commented, but this was a different kind of strength than what she saw until now.

"More like he is dogged." Bete clicked his tongue but even he couldn't look down on someone like that.

"Say the dog." Tiona was the one to fire the first shot.

"Haa? What did you say?" Bete approached her with an unruly air, daring her to say it again.

"What? unassuming of yourself? How can you call a prospect...no, a hero a dog?" Tiona wasn't one to back down. She was totally a fan.

"What hero? Get out here, he barely saved his own life." Bete lashed out.

"Yeah, like you could have done the same at his place."

"You-"

"I think that is enough of your banter, be mindful of the place." Finn sighed.

"Tell that to the other kid."

"Who are you calling a kid? You leashless dog."

"You are the kid, you damn Loki wannabe."

...

"Atchum" Was it that loli big boobs talking behind her back in heaven?

...

The Loki familia went about their way, bantering as usual, even though they were inside the dungeon, they were strong enough to not care too much since they were still on the lower floors.

No kind of monster whatsoever on those floors could possibly harm any of them.

And on the outside world as time passed things were getting more heated as in various places, predominantly taverns, adventurers drank as they talked about what recently happened.

Although at the beginning it was all rumors and conjuncture about the complete story, soon enough some veridic information was leaked by the guild.

One single night, a guild worker that was present when the Takemikazuchi Familia went to the guild to ask for assistance got a bit too drunk in a tavern and started blabbering about what happened.

And it was no surprise when that news became the most liked adventure story of the decade if not more.

Adventurers would talk and cheer the man known as Noctis while drinking and parent would talk about his heroism to their kids.

Whether it was Gods or Mortals, all could respect and enjoy such a man and his story.

The fact was, people really have the tendency to invest themself in the stories of others even though they weren't concerned.

In light of that event, Takemigazuchi spends a fair amount of their Familia's saving to hire the captain and head doctor of the Dian Cecht Familia Airmid Teasanare to heal his newest child.

Many were those who waited in impatience and anguish to know if he would survive this or not, no it was not an exaggeration to say that all of Orario was awaiting the news.

And after many days of subsequent and intensive treatment, the news that he had been successfully saved sent the adventurer city into a festive state.

That day, Tavers and bars were full all day long, and cheers could be heard every so often every two streets.

...

"To our man of the week, Noctis!" One random adventurer raised his booze as he voiced broadly.

""To Noctis!""

""To Noctis!""

...

"He made it guys!"

""Yeahhhhhh!""

""Yeahhhhhh!""

...

Similar scenes were happening all around but within the Takemikazuchi residence. The ambiance wasn't that festive.

Yes, although Noctis successfully made it, it would take him much longer before he fully recuperate, he just lost too much blood.

There is also the fact that he still didn't wake up, his body was in a state of coma.

They have been told that nothing could be told about it and they could only wait until he recover and woke up by himself.

Easy to tell how saddened they were by this news. But since it was said by the best doctor in the city if not in the world, they couldn't doubt her words.

And so they waited.

Days soon turned into weeks, weeks into months...

But of course, they didn't pass all of their days doing anything. Far from that even.

They trained as much as they could, even more harshly than before.

Vengeance was their goal, so not only did they trains, but they also looked for information.

They went to the guild and since said guild possesses the profile of all adventurers within the city, they used that to their advantage.

With the best description of their assailants they could manage, they requested the guild to look within their database for individuals fitting the diverse descriptions.

That also took quite some time due to the sheer magnitude of adventurers within the city, but eventually, they were able to find them.

Every single one of those people was a member of the same Familia.

One that was not so old, merely 5 years since its creation.

The Familia possessed around fifteen members with all of them being level 1 except the captain that became level 2, two years ago.

The Coalemus Familia.

But this was as much as the guild could help them as they couldn't directly interfere in the conflict between Familias.

Althought disappointed by this fact, the members of the Takemikazuch Familia didn't blame them, at least now they knew who their enemies were and that was good enough.

All they could do now was train and get stronger as quickly as possible while waiting for Noctis to wake up.

During that time, they were contacted by Padme, but she was told by their God to take her distance for now.

And that terribly saddened her as she was feeling guilty about what happened to them, but she also couldn't do much about it.

She couldn't even request the help of her own Familia as she was not particularly valued or talented. She doubted they would help one of the many random levels 1 that join them frequently.

As such, 'thinking' herself incapable of doing anything, Padme left, before disappearing from the radars for a while...

Time passed, and two months after that event and its effect have since died down, the long-awaited day was soon to come.

Today was one of the few days when Rose after her shift ended, decided to come to visit her unconscious adventurer.

There goes the 'not getting too attached to one.' She would have happily kept going like that, well not so happily but still better than being hurt every time she experienced one of them dying.

But it seemed like, that one was somehow able to go past her defense without her even realizing. How? She didn't know. But she could guess it had to do with his way of being.

He was someone fairly charismatic and had that little thing to get his way with her, even against her will sometimes.

"Hello?" After knocking on the door, someone was quick to open the door and speak.

"Ah Rose-dono, please come in." Mikoto, long accustomed to seeing her, invited her in.

"Thank you, Mikoto. How have you been?" She asked as she made her way inside, if she was going to come into someone else house, it was only natural to be polite.

"Worked up, but as you can see, I am perfectly healthy."

"I am glad to hear that, and the others?"

"They are not much different, except..."

"I see... he still hasn't woken up."

"Sadly, although his body has completely recovered by now, he is still unconscious."

"Can I please see him?"

"Of course, you just came all the way here for that, it would be heartless of me to refuse."

"Once again-"

"No need Rose-dono, I am sure he would be pleased with your visit if he was conscious."

"Then excuse me if I do."

Putting an end to the discussion Rose entered the room and took a seat before the bed in which was resting Noctis.

She held his hand as she usually did, she was feeling a plethora of emotions at this instant, but the most prominent one was none other than hope. She really hoped he would wake up soon.

As the duration of a coma of an individual couldn't be objectively estimated, some people would wake up after days while some rest unconscious for years.

For him to waste most of his youth in a bed doing nothing was not something she hoped would happen.

Touching the scarf that was tying her hair for a moment she closed her eyes shortly before opening them.

She untied her hair and put the scarf into Noctis's hands before closing it.

"Please wake up soon." She muttered with a low voice, she wasn't particularly in love with him or anything but at the very least, he could be considered an acquaintance if not a friend.

As such she hoped the best for him, he wasn't one of those who should suffer like that.

"Don't worry too much." The voice of a newly arrived Takemikazuchi resounded.

"Takemikazuchi-sama." Rose greeted, she couldn't be disrespectful to a God after all.

"I have heard that you came to visit."

"Yes, I thought I could pass by before going home."

"Please feel free to do so every time you wish."

"Thank you."

"Don't mention it." Takemi took a look at the sleeping Noctis and the scarf in his hand before smiling kindly.

"As I said, do not worry too much, he will soon wake up. I can tell you that much."

"How?" Rose was puzzled, there was no sign of that after all.

"He is him. That's how." He laughed a bit as he thought about it. This was the best way to describe it.

"Huh?" That didn't help Rose understand one bit.

"Hm... To put it simply, someone like him can't be put down for long, he will always come back, and when he does..." After saying Takemikazuchi started smirking by himself for some reason.

"Takemikazuchi-sama, are you alright?" She somehow understood a little what he meant, but him just starting laughing out of nowhere was something else.

"Haha, yes I am fine child, I am perfectly fine." He calmed down and patted the redhead unconsciously.

He, contrary to others didn't seem much worried about Noctis, since the day his injuries were treated, Takemi considered that as the most worrisome factor.

As for whether he would wake up or not? He didn't even ask himself that question, because he already knew the answer.

To accelerate his body recovery rate, he updated Noctis's status even though he was unconscious, and through that, he was able to understand what he went through.

That was something all Gods could do, as long as they updated their child's status.

So, he more than anyone knew what was to come.

In fact, he was more worried about his others children that were pushing themselves even more and training even harder. He feared their mental health would deteriorate too much if they kept going like this.

But it did work as they were getting considerably stronger a lot quicker than ever before.

And about his new status... Surprise to come.

"Ha sorry, this is a habitude of mine." He realized and removed his hand.

"It's okay." She didn't really care. It was fine by her.

...

That night, while most were sleeping, Inside Noctis's room, something was happening.

One of his fingers suddenly moved, then some of his toes. After that, no more movement happened, everything went back to how it was before.

But two hours after, well past midnight, in the same room, a pair of vivid blue eyes could be seen looking at the roof.

And slowly but lowly a voice resounded in the dark and silent room.

"It's... time."

...

End.

Did you know that even while in a coma some people can think and are aware of what happens around them?

Says, what would happen if someone were to exploit that and reflect upon their past action while experiencing some character growth... what would that be called?
