(9) Tsubaki Collbrande

It's now two in the afternoon and I plan to go to the Hephaestus Familia to buy a new armor as my old one is scratched and full of monster blood.

I headed to the Hephaestus Familia Workplace as I remember that this is where Tsubaki should be.

Passing by Babel I bought those Macaron things again they're apparently called Gacaron.

Soon, I reach the workplace as the sound of hammering and quenching of blades sounded in my ears.

The workplace itself is an area full of houses that are probably owned by the Hephaestus familia to their members, as I was about to knock at a door suddenly it opened revealing a woman with brown skin, long black hair, red eyes, and wearing an eyepatch over her left eye.

This is Tsubaki.

"Eh, who are you?" -- She said in surprise.

"I'm Cein Quinn can you make me an armor incorporating these items for me and also making my sword a little bit sturdier and look like an actual sword." -- I said pointing at my bag with two of the Dungeon Lizards' scales and a frog a Shooter's Tongue, I also pointed at my bone sword hanging from my waist.

Tsubaki: "Eh, you're the kid that changed the Guild records! Tsubaki Collbrande by the way." -- She said as she introduce herself.

"Come on in"

I entered the house as the heat from the forge permeated the air.

Tsubaki: "So how much is your budget?"

"40, 000 Valis. I know this isn't enough but ill give fifty of each rare drop I found in this whole week. Deal?" -- I said offering her an authorized contract. I got this contract by buying it from the Astraea Familia, as the Orarios knights are authorized for this type of deal.

Tsubaki: "Deal!" -- She said as she signed it. I already expected it since I'm the only one who can get them and even though they're weak compared to the other high-leveled materials from the deeper part of the dungeon my rare drops are still one of the best as it is affordable for starting adventurers.

She started measuring my portions as she ask me what I want.

"Mhm, I want a tough but light armor, I also want a short cloak using the Dungeon Lizard's scales and the Frog Shooters tongue so the blood that will spill will just drip down avoiding my armor"

Tsubaki: "Great idea but I think there are still some materials that are going to be left, any more ideas?" -- She said pointing at her sketch of my armor and short cloak measuring it with the materials.

Me: "A protective headgear that can cover my forehead, the side of my face, my neck, and my nape. Can that be done?"

"Yep!" -- She answered.

"Can it be done by tomorrow?" -- I ask worriedly as this whole thing is planned so if I got held back then my other plans like buying Haruhime and letting her join the Miach Familia will also be halted.

Tsubaki: "Don't worry for you dear I'll push through, come here by five in the morning then it should be finished." -- She said flashing a wink at me.

"Thanks, see you tomorrow." -- I waved goodbye as I headed to train again.

I only trained again for two hours and now I'm opening the front door to the pharmacy as I plan to take a bath and have her pass the qualification to impart [Total Concentration: Constant], and I also plan to tell my right day trip to Miach.

After taking a bath I changed clothes and find Naaza in front of the shop creating potions.

Naaza: "Hmm?" -- She asks as I stood in front of her.

"I'm gonna impart you a skill but you must pass the qualifications first." -- I said

Naaza: "So, what do I need to do?" -- She replied intrigued.

I asked her to sit in a lotus position as I guided her breathing attentively.

Two hours since then as I said:

"Impart." -- I said as Mavis confirmed the successful impart.

"You should update your falna, [Total Concentration: Constant] gives you three percent faster regeneration, and a ten percent boost in all stats." -- I said proudly as she nodded.

"Actually, I have another thing to tell you... Well, I can bring back your lost arm." -- Suddenly, the room turned quiet.

"Really..?" -- She asks brows raised, and teary-eyed.

Me: "Yup! But we need to wait after my eight days dungeon dive, as I still need to raise my magic stats."

Naaza: "Eight days dungeon dive?!!" -- She said shocked.

Me: "Can you help me convince Miach? I already have my plans set, if he didn't then the familias growth might be hindered." -- I said turning on my best impression of puppy eyes as I target her with the 'for the familia' card.

"Fine." -- She answered unwillingly.

Me: "Hey, can you teach me about potions and all so I can get the [Mixing] development ability."

Naaza: "Sure!" -- She said happily, she must be been bored without any familia members for a while now.

It's been six hours since and I still haven't gotten the notification from Mavis about a probable development ability, but I know that I've gotten to know about half of it so I plan to bring herbs with me in the dungeon to practice potion-making to get the probable [Mixing] development ability.

You might be wondering why do I need them if I can just get them from the familia; honestly, I just wanna be sure for emergency purposes.

It's now nine in the evening as we all eat our dinner while Naaza started explaining my eight days dungeon trip to Miach.

At first, he wasn't allowing it but with time and persuasion, we were able to persuade him.

I plan to sleep right now to have a great start tomorrow. YES 👍 SLEEP, considering I haven't been able to try it in the past few days and probably these consecutive eight days.

My room is normal in size standard, with an ordinary-looking bed enough for me, a mirror on the wall, a cabinet, and a window by my bed that allows air to come in and show the alleyways.

I lay down on the bed as I look at the starry stars in the sky cold air blowing on my face, while I envision how much I and my familia will amaze this already amazing world.
