Binding Vow 2

The next 5 days were over in the blink of an eye, At least from my perspective. With my schedule from studying in the morning to lunch and exercise in the noon to magic practice with Fels in the afternoon to going to sleep in the evening because I am dead tired by the time the sun only starts disappearing in the horizon.

But it had been a fruitful week. I still have no idea about what's going on in Orario aside from what Fels tells me since I am still not allowed to go outside. The chance that I might stumble in front of a god who can point out that I was the odd one out, out of everything in existence, was still out there, hence no going out for good'ol me.

"You have been busy," Ouranos said as he updated my status.

While in the prayer room, Ouranos updated my status while Fels stood at his side, Observing the whole process with a sheet of paper ready to hand to his god to write the young man's status.

This whole week has been a busy one, but I got a lot out of it as well.

For starters, I was now ready to go to the dungeon, but only physically ready.

My experiments with Fels showed that I did not have enough mana or mind, whatever you want to call it, to perform a proper domain expansion. The last time I tried, I was about to die of a mind down but was saved by Fels who dumped a liter of potions on me.

But using [Incantation] I can break the effect of the domain into separate diluted versions of the original. Hence instead of one magic, I had four instead.

First was <Cleave >, an extremely lethal melee spell that launched one slash that could currently chop off the wooden plank. But I needed to be touching the target for it to work.

Second was <Dismantle >, a mid-ranged multiple-attack spell that launches many slashes at once to a considerable distance but lacks in lethality that <Cleave > has.

third was <Dissect >, a spell with the range of <dismantle > along with lethality of <cleave >, but this one requires me to use a hand sign, which was crossing my fingers apparently, to use. This was reserved for something dangerous since it also consumed a lot of mana.

and lastly was a one-time use only, which was,

<Pseudo-Domain >, even though it's called that, It is nowhere near a domain. it only increases my stats, decreases other stats inside its radius, and can amplify an attack. But precisely because of its extensive abilities, I can only use it once after choking myself full of Potions.

and for the template.

『Template Extraction - 30%』

『Access to [Cursed energy] and [Divine Flames] required for further extraction』

it was right where it was left, no changes whatsoever.

"Here" A voice brought me out of my daze as I saw Fels handing me a piece of paper.

------

<Name > - Leo

<Level > - 1

<stats >

 STR - I0 ->I87

 END - I0 ->I57

 DEX - I0 ->I49

 AGI - I0 ->I71

 MGI - I0 ->G213

<Magic >

 [Malevolent Shrine] - Ability to call upon the Domain of the King of Curses.

<Skill >

 [Incantation] - Ability to modify magic using certain keywords or hand signs to help cast magic and shorten chant.

 [Binding Vow] - Ability to alter the status in exchange for a vow made with either oneself or another entity.

------

Though this was only 30% of what Sukuna has? I first thought that it would increase with my stats, but it seems like it has nothing to do with my status but instead, the abilities that I have unlocked.

And the increase in stats was just about any new adventurer would have except for mana which I was pushing to the limit every day. But that was something that could be fixed since I realized that the strongest weapon in Sukuna's arsenal was not [Malevolent Shrine], nor [Divine Flames] but it was the [Binding Vow].

Since both me and Fels started experimenting with how the [Binding Vow] could be used. I discovered its true potential when I realized that I could enter a binding vow with another person and hence tried it on with the Template.

『Exchange value is not balanced』

That does not mean it's not possible, I just haven't gone crazy with it, Yet.

and these experiments gave us a basic idea of how [Binding Vows] worked and it was with this knowledge that both Fels and I fleshed out the details regarding our 1-year contract.

"You both have come to an agreement then?" Ouranos asked as both of us nodded.

"Yes, I will enter in a binding vow with him for the duration of a year," Fels said as he handed a different sheet of paper to Ouranos that had the exact details of the vow on it.

Both of them argued about the conditions whenever they had time and if both parties agreed, it could also be changed or canceled. Also, I did not object to this vow because it is an equivalent exchange, but instead of imposing rules on Fels, I can add something to my status.

"Yes well then proceed," Ouranos said Fels walked down the throne towards me, As we stood face to face.

why the fuck does it look like I am marrying him?

"I vow

for the next 365 days I will not willingly harm any creature possessing human emotion and intelligence, should I break this vow, one Fels will know of my actions leading to the vow's violation.

In case of violation of the vow, I will lose all of my status and magic permanently after 12 hours

Starting now,"

I finished speaking as all three of us waited for something to happen, as a screen popped up before me.

"Did it work?" Fels asked noticing the look on my face.

"Yes"

『State the condition, to impose the vow』

"Accelerated growth of Falna"

『An increase of 50% has been applied due to limitations and severe punishment』

"It's done," I said to both Ouranos and Fels.

"What is the initial Value?" Fels asked excitedly, though not visually excited one could tell from his voice that he was looking forward to this strange phenomenon.

"Initial value?" Ouranos asked as Fels explained the theory we derived.

The more severe the conditions were the more lucrative the rewards. In the case of losing my stats, the higher the stats, the more severe the punishment becomes, and hence the reward increases.

With accelerated growth, the higher the stats, the more this percentage increase, increases. A higher percentage means more stats and hence the loop continues giving me,

An accelerated, accelerated growth.

Now if my math is right that translates to Exponential growth.
