Chapter 2: The City of Dreams

[A/N: So here's the chapter 2, full it's finally complete took a while, i have edit and add new things

If you find any mistake or ideas feel comment

I'll do my best to improve with each mistake

And Do vote it's really help with my motivation, so without further ado let's start]

Aether's journey to Orario was filled with anticipation and excitement. As he travelled, the days passed by uneventfully, each one bringing him closer to his destination.

.

.

Silence is uncomfortable...

"Why are you going to Oriario?"

After a few minutes of silence the carriage man asked a question.

"Because huh?"

¿Why am I going to Oriario? It would be a little tedious to explain.

If I had to say a serious reason...

"Because I want to be a Hero... Because I want to make someone smile, create my destiny and history, to give hope to important people for me, and... to have my predestined encounter..." even though he wants to be a hero his grandpa drilled a part of romance in his head

When I finished talking, suddenly my face blushed, I realised that I said something shameful, ugh what a shame... Especially the latter, If mother listened to what I said, she would surely give me a terrifying gospel fist and send the grandfather to fly with his magic if she found out that he took his teachings a little bit seriously.

"Hahahaha" the driver laugh as he spoke "You really got influenced by the old man"

"Ehehe" the boy scratched his cheek giving a small smile

It took Bell a while, but eventually he arrived at the gates of Orario. The city was bigger than he had imagined...and more glum than he thought

I could see that the walls surrounded the city.

The huge walls were so high that I couldn't see the end even when I raised my head to the limit, causing my neck to hurt. That's how impressive they were.

I swallowed hard, backing up to regain calm, and finally came to town.

I could see that there were many people and demi- humans waiting to enter, many of them looked like merchants, I was a little surprised, it was the first time I saw the demi-humans. In the town where Bell lived there were only humans so I had never seen them.

There was a long line to enter the city.

"I hope this doesn't take long"

He sighed as he already started to hate the long lines.

Still Aether couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and excitement. He glanced around, observing the seasoned adventurers sharing tales of their conquests and the guards maintaining order at the gates.

It was finally Aether's turn to face the guards, and they exchanged curious glances as they awaited the presence of an adult accompanying the young boy. To their surprise, Aether stood alone, his determination evident in his eyes.

One of the guards approached him, with concern on his face. "Are you alone, young one? Have you come to Orario to become an adventurer?"

Aether nodded, his voice filled with pride as he answered, "Yes, I want to become an adventurer and I seek to explore the Dungeon and test my abilities."

The guards exchanged impressed glances at the young boy's courage. "It's commendable that someone as young as you has such aspirations. However, there are certain procedures and requirements to enter Orario as an adventurer," the guard explained.

The guard then asked Aether if he had the necessary entrance fee and the stamp seal of his village. Aether reached into his pocket and pulled out a pouch containing 5000 valis, the currency of Orario, along with the stamp seal representing his village.

Handing them over, Aether asked tentatively, "Is this enough?"

The guards examined the contents of the pouch and inspected the village seal. After a brief discussion, they nodded in approval. "This should suffice, young adventurer. Welcome to Orario. May your journey be filled with valour and triumph."

Aether showed a bright smile as excitement rushed through him. He had passed the initial hurdle and was granted entry into the city he had long dreamed of. As he stepped through the gates, he couldn't contain his enthusiasm, a smile spreading across his face.

He spoke for the guardsman for a while. They spoke of the wonders of the Dungeon, the challenges that lay ahead, and the camaraderie forged among adventurers. The guards, impressed by Aether's determination and courage, offered him advice and guidance to navigate the city and find a suitable familia.

Aether listened intently, soaking in every word, grateful for the wisdom bestowed upon him. The guards shared stories of their own trials and triumphs, instilling in him a sense of awe and respect for the path he had chosen.

After bidding farewell to the guards, Aether ventured into the bustling streets of Orario.Bell slowly walked through the streets of Orario, the mood wasn't really what he would call happy. Guards told him it was way worse in the past, but he should be careful since Evilus still wasn't defeated.

"Whoaaa!"

(Image)

He had been hit with so many sudden sights. Outside of Orario, the only thing he could see was the Babel tower, but inside he could see so many people bustling around.

Traders selling their goods from foreign countries, smiths selling their weapons and armors, food stalls calling out to people telling them to try their food. Races from all over the world had gathered in this one place. It was such a busy city compared to the rural village in the mountains, that Aether had somewhat of a culture shock (even through he knows but seeing this in person is something else).

He suddenly heard his stomach grumble. Laughing somewhat in embarrassment, he found a nearby stall called "Jagumaru-kun" and, smelling the aroma that came from it, he quickly made his way over there. He glanced at the menu, but as a first timer he decided to get the regular version instead of any other variant.

"Um, one normal Jagumaru-kun, please!"

"Here you go. It's 30 valis."

He handed the money to the woman who was working there and bit into the snack.

"-What is this?! It's so good!"

It was simply a snack made of potatoes. It had an outer layer that was fried, and an inner layer that was made of crushed potatoes. He could taste various other spices, and the flavor completely burst in his mouth.

"It's good, isn't it? It's one of the best snacks you can find in Orario! Are you new here, boy?"

"Ah, yes, I am! I'm here to become an adventurer!"

"I see. In that case, you can start by doing either one of two things. You can start applying for Familia membership around Orario, or you can go to the guild which is located southwest of here to get more information about Orario."

"Hmm.. which one do you recommend?"

"Let's see.. most beginners would start out by going to the guild. So should go to the there. But you should also look for a place to stay in case you don't find any Familia on your first day. It is pretty unlikely that rookies like you find a Familia to stay at, especially when you're a human."

"Ahh.. I see."

Humans were probably the weakest or second weakest of all the races in the world. They didn't have any particular strengths or weaknesses compared to other races, and their only real unique characteristic was that they could make children with any other race. Because of this, it was unlikely a Familia would take in any human unless they had some kind of merit. If you were an elf, for example, you would likely be able to join any of the Familias whose members consisted solely of elves.

Determined, he made his way to the Adventurer's Guild, where he hoped to find guidance and assistance in his quest to join a familia

"Can you tell me how I can get to the guild?"

"Of course, you just have to follow the alley there, then you will come to a great street, that is the main street of the city, you will see a lot of buildings but the largest belongs to the guild."

"Thank you."

"Be careful girl." Aether halt "girl" well his mother did crossdress him many times but it's the first time someone call him that.

"Well anyway" the boy shook his head and went on the guild

Inside the bustling guild, Aether approached the reception desk, where a friendly guild staff member greeted him. He explained his purpose and desire to find a familia to join. The staff member listened attentively, offering words of encouragement and explaining the process.

As Aether waited, he observed the lively interactions between adventurers, the exchange of information and quests, and the overall camaraderie that permeated the guild. It was a hub of activity, a place where dreams and aspirations intertwined.

While waiting, He have conversations with other adventurers nearby. They shared stories of their own journeys, their encounters with powerful monsters, and the lessons they had learned along the way. The boy become happy as he also want to have a Familia he trust but reality was cruel.

Familias far and wide rejected Aether, dismissing him as a seemingly weak child. Yet, in the face of these setbacks, his unwavering determination remained steadfast. Aether refused to let the judgments of others define his worth.

Well as an adventurer he would be a rookie, but Alfia and Zald had trained him thoroughly and made sure he was strong.

As Aether strolled through the crowded streets, a glimmer caught his eye. It was the pendant he wore around his neck, a treasured gift from his mother, Alfia. The intricate design and the memories associated with it made it an object of great significance to him.

Unbeknownst to Aether, his pendant had caught the attention of a passing goddess. she approached Aether with a warm smile

"Boy are you okay, you look lost" The women said showing a warm smile

Aether's turned around and his jaw dropped.

A woman was standing in front of him...but not just any woman. In Aether's eyes, Alfia had been a true beauty, he had seen other beautiful women on his way to guild, even a few elves, these were extreme beauties!

But...compared to this woman...they all looked dull, she was someone whose beauty was comparable his grandmother.

Whatever her age was, the woman in front of him was at the absolute height of her feminine beauty, her face had even finer features than that of any elf he had seen. She had long, walnut-brown hair, which fell openly over her back. Aether never had seen such beautiful eyes, they had the indigo blue of the deep sea.

She wore a long, white dress of a kind that Aether had never seen. Her shoulders and upper part of her back were naked, as well as a good part of her breasts. The arms were covered in wide, white sleeves, which were frilly at the end. Her chest was covered to around sixty percent, a golden ornament sat in the middle of her breasts, with slight openings in the middle.

To his shame, if his grandfather was here he would probably say she's totally a "Bombshell"

Around her waist was a leather belt with golden borders, the cloth around her waist was blue, the rest white.

She looked very much like a virtuous noblewoman.

Aside from his Grandmother, Never in his life had Aether seen a women like her with his own eyes, but the faint aura of divinity made it clear in the first moment.

The woman was definetely a goddess.

"Wow..."

"Boy?"

"You are really pretty..."

"Hm?" She tilted her head slightly in a very cute way and smiled gently.

Aether snapped out of his state and remembered his manners.

He bowed down. "I'm sorry! I was too fascinated for a moment by your beauty!"

The goddess giggled. "Ehe, it isn't a problem."

She felt that he spoke the truth, which was pretty charming.

"So boy can I ask you something."

"Yes, Goddess"

The goddess showed a suprise face as she spoke "Oho you can tell I am a Goddess"

"I think so? You are so beautiful and feel so special, that I just thought "She is a goddess in any way!"."

The goddess chuckled and blushed slightly. "You certainly don't hold back with your praises, boy."

"My Grandfather told me, the best way to make a woman happy is to praise her until she smiles. I have no other choice than to stick to his teachings."

"Then I hope he taught you well."

Aether smiled. "I think so."

"Hmm" The goddess smiled she already started to like the child "Can you please tell me about that pendant you're wearing... it holds a resemblance to someone dear to me." She asked still still showing his gentle nature but inside she was in turmoil, cause there's only one person in world who holds this pendent, and it should be destroyed with her that day.

Aether showed a mixed expression, doubting wether he should tell her or not, but seeing her curiosity he gave in

"It was given to me by my mother, Alfia," Aether replied, his voice filled with a hint of hesitation. "She told me it held great meaning, but she never elaborated further."

The goddess eyes sparkled with recognition as Aether mentioned Alfia's name. Memories of her long-lost best friend came rushing back, and she couldn't contain her emotions. Happiness and sadness intertwined within her.

"Alfia? Is it really you, my dear friend's child? I can see the resemblance now. It's truly remarkable." She knelt down as she looked at him

"You knew my mother, umm miss ?" Aether asked, his voice filled with a mix of wonder and confusion

Astraea nodded, her expression filled with warmth and fondness. "Oh I apologise for my rudeness, Aether. Allow me to properly introduce myself. I am Astraea, head of Astraea familia"

(Image)

She continued "Apparently i was the one who gave your mother this pendent. Your mother and I were the best of friends. We fought for justice together, supporting each other through countless battles. I believed she had sacrificed her life for a noble cause. But to know that she lives and has a child brings both relief and a longing to see her again."

Aether, sensing a connection, felt a surge of hope within him. He introduced himself and his desire to join a familia where he could utilise his utmost potential, his unique abilities honed to perfection.

"So if you could please allow me to join your familia" Aether requested as he bowed

Astraea showed a perplexed expression as all of her the children in her familia are girls,

"Tell me Aether why me there are lots of god's who might take you, there's Loki and Freya one of the top god's of orario it's hard joining them, but if you told them about your origin, they might surely take you, there's other gods like Ganesha who always open their hands for others and god like Apollo who might take people for their beauty and charm, who would also be interested in you, so why me"

Astraea asked as she wanted to know to know if the boy have what it takes to join her familia, even if not, she will help him join a suitable familia but for now she wants to know, what drive the boy to be an adventurer at such early age

"Well its not like I didn't try for Loki and Freya familia but it was a no-go as they didn't let me meet their Goddess, and knowing the hostile relationship with Zeus and Hera familia, mother advice not to revel it to anyone" Astraea nodded a wide wise answer knowing that he's has relationship with orario former top familia, it might only get trouble

Aether continued "and for some reason the Apollo familia gives me shivers on my back, so I trust my trusted my instinct and ran off" Astraea sweatdropped she could totally see Apollo playing with the bunny boy like a toy

"As for Lord Ganesha.." Aether scratch his cheek as he spoke "well mother totally rejected me to join his familia"

Astraea blink in confusion "and why is that?"

"First Ganesha familia is not a exploration familia or a familia which have its own party well it's not a major problem but the major reason why mama rejected me to join his familia is..." he paused as he look in Astraea and said "well he's too LOUD"

"Eh?"

"Well knowing mother nature it was obvious, as she would surely visit orario one day and if he shouted in front of her she might just gospel him, so for the sake of orario nope" Astraea giggle a bit awkwardly knowing his friend she might blast anyone who got on her nerves even if it's a God

but that for later, now comes the main question that Astraea wants to know why her

"As for you Lady Astraea. It's quite simple,

I've been searching for a god to serve, someone who sees me not as a mere plaything, but as a genuine person with whom to form a true connection and family. I didn't sense that intention in their eyes, but I immediately felt it in yours. I want to become stronger for her so I could see her smile" He stopped showing a warm smile, remembering the promise he made in the twilight " and to do that I need to find a familia to whom I can trust with my all."

Astraea attentively listened to Aether's words, her smile growing as she saw the sincerity in the young boy. He was a pure-hearted child, and Astraea couldn't help but feel happiness. It had been a while since she had encountered someone with such unwavering determination.

"You passed" she spoke with a smile "You maybe just a child, but I see determination in your eyes. You may join our familia, and we shall help you grow stronger."

Aether, pouting at the mention of his age, protested.

"I'm not a child. I am six years old!"

'So cute'

Astraea couldn't help but giggle at his adorable pout and led him to Stardust Garden

"Let's go when we reach our new home I will gave you my blessings"

"Oh but I don't need a blessing for now"

Astraea halt her step as she looked at him with confusion "but if you don't have my blessings how are you gonna get stronger"

"Wait didn't i tell you the reason"

"No" Astraea shook her head

"Oh tehee🌟 my bad" Aether pulling his tough out tap his head in a cute way, it was really cute for Astraea

(Image)

"Well I can't tell you full details as some are complecated even for me but if have to say it in a simple way I say i use 'spirit magic' to get stronger"

Astraea showed a suprise expression "Spirit magic isn't that means you made a pact with a spirit"

"Well its something similar" Aether bowed as he said "sorry I can't tell you the full reason but please trust me I can say that it's due to a spirit"

Seeing him bowing with such a small body was cute for Astraea, she giggled slightly as she spoke "I trust you Aether, I'm sure their must be a reason why you can't tell, but i hope you will tell me one day"

Getting up Aether looked at Astraea with sparkle in her eyes

"I will Lady Astraea!!"

"Then let's go"

While going with Astraea to Stardust Garden, Aether's curiosity got the better of him, and he couldn't help but inquire about his mother, Alfia. He looked up at Astraea, his eyes filled with anticipation.

"Lady Astraea, can you tell me more about my mother? What kind of person was she?" Aether asked, his voice tinged with both excitement and longing.

Astraea's gaze softened, memories of their shared past flooding her mind. She took a moment to gather her thoughts before responding.

"Alfia... she was a remarkable woman," Astraea began, her voice filled with warmth. "She possessed a strong sense of justice, just like you and me. We were the closest of friends, always fighting side by side for what we believed in."

Aether's eyes sparkled with admiration, his heart swelling with pride at the mention of his mother's qualities.

"She was a collected woman, almost always portraying a calm expression," Astraea continued, a fond smile gracing her lips. "But don't be mistaken, she had a fire within her that could be unleashed if provoked. I have witnessed her fierce determination and unwavering resolve in the face of adversity."

Aether listened intently, his parents rarely talk about their life in orario and He longed to know more about the woman who had given him life.

"What were her passions and aspirations?" Aether inquired, eager to uncover more about his mother's dreams and desires.

Astraea's eyes lit up, memories of their shared past flooding back. "Alfia was one of the greatest person when it comes to magic and the art of spellcasting. She believed in the power of magic to bring about positive change and protect the weak." It was then Astraea showed a difficult smile "and because of that she hated herself"

"Ehh but why, wouldn't it be great to be strong to protect others" he asked confusion written on his face

Astraea spoke in a sad tone "She always believe she had stolen her sister talent, while each day she was getting stronger her sister condition becoming much worsen and due to that she become cold"

Aether's expression turned somber, not a single day pass when her mother cried for her sister's well-being, longing for her happiness. Unbeknownst to them, Meteria was sent to where her husband is and Hades dubbed that place the "Horny Jail" as they were a bit too naughty.

"But don't get her wrong your mother had a heart full of love," Astraea continued, her voice filled with affection. "Though she don't show it, She cared deeply for her loved ones and would go to great lengths to protect them. When we fought together, I always felt a sense of comfort and reassurance knowing that Alfia had my back."

Aether's gaze grew intense, and gave a small smile. He wanted to carry on his mother's legacy, to honor her memory by embracing justice and compassion in all his actions.

"I will make her proud," Aether declared, his voice filled with conviction. "I will follow in her footsteps and uphold the values she cherished."

Astraea placed a hand on Aether's hairs gently caressing it. "I have no doubt that you will, young one. Alfia's spirit lives on within you, guiding you on this journey. Together, we will honour her legacy and bring justice to this city."

And so, as Aether and Astraea continued their exploration of Orario, as Astraea keep showing him new places seeing his expression was interesting for her, Aether found solace in Astraea's presence, knowing that she had been a trusted friend to his mother. They shared stories, memories, and aspirations, building a foundation of trust and understanding.

With Astraea as his guide and the legacy of Alfia and Zald as his compass, Aether's path in Orario took shape. The city brimmed with endless possibilities, and he was determined to carve his own destiny, driven by justice, love, and the unwavering spirit of his mother.

When both got inside, Astraea turned to Aether.

"So, I think it is the best to expect that things will get a bit loud now."

"Could one of them be against it?"

"I doubt it. They're all good girls. But there is something that you have to be aware of."

"And that would be?"

"They don't have much contact with boys, except when we fight together with another familia. So it could be that some of them behave a bit weird sometimes, okay?"

"I will keep it in mind."

"Good, then let us go."

"Yes"

.

.

"Girls, I'm home."

"Welcome back, Lady Astraea."

"Did everything go well, Lady Astraea?"

"Would you like to eat something?"

"Or would you like a bath first?"

"Shall Lyra massage your feet?"

"Hey, I heard that!"

Aether waited outside of the living room, where the others couldn't see him, Astraea had asked him to wait for a moment. The house looked really nice, with the large garden around it, there were many white flowers in various places.

Oh, I get now why she called it Stardust Garden.

It wasn't unusual for Astraea that her followers were all over her and offered her help or things to relax, all of them really adored their goddess.

"So everyone, thank you for your warm welcome back. I'm happy to see that you are all uninjured from the patrols."

It took a moment to greet them all, she always took her time with that.

"So, my girls. There is something I want to announce to you."

They were all ears, when Astraea called them "my girls" there were always interesting news, mostly about new members.

"This evening, I want to welcome a new member for our Familia."

""""""Ooooh!""""""

"A new member? How exciting!"

"Hey Lion, now you won't be our little one anymore!"

"I told you to not call me that!"

"Heh, a new member? I wonder who that is."

"Which girl catched your eye this time, Lady Astraea."

The goddess turned slightly to the side.

"Would you please come in?"

"E-Excuse me."

Aether walked a bit nervous into the living room. In front of him sat eleven pretty, young women. It was hard to say who was more surprised.

"Eeeeeh!? A man?"

"What?! A man?"

"Lady Astraea!?"

"Hey.. he's so cute i want to cuddle him"

"I found my body pillow"

Aether become more nervous as he heard their comment specially the last two girl, one is red hair girl showing a cheerful expression other is a black haired girl wearing a far eastern kemono, she licks her lips making the boy shiver

The other members of the Astraea Familia were initially hesitant, sceptical of breaking their long-standing traditions. The Astraea Familia was unique, consisting only of females, and the idea of accepting a young boy like Aether was met with scepticism among its members.

"Goddess, are you sure about this? A boy in an all-female familia? It goes against our traditions!"

"He's just a child. What if he gets hurt?"

Astraea, with unwavering conviction, responded firmly, "Do not underestimate him based on his appearance. Aether has powers and abilities that even he hasn't fully realised yet. I believe he can bring something extraordinary to our familia."

"But the rules..."

Astraea interrupted gently, "Rules can be adapted and evolved. We have a chance to do something different, to embrace change. Remember, we were all outsiders once, seeking a place where we belonged."

Astraea's words resonated with the members of the Astraea Familia, gradually easing their reservations. Aether's youthful innocence and adorable appearance played a part in swaying their hearts as well.

"He's just a child. Are we sure about this?"

Astraea replied confidently, "Age does not determine potential. Aether possesses a unique power and has proven himself worthy."

Aether, with a pout, insisted, "I'm not a child, I'm six years old!"

"Look at that pout! How can we say no to such cuteness?"

"Look at him. He's just a precious child. I suppose having a boy around won't hurt."

Aether continued to pout Gradually, when they saw the innocent and adorable pouting face of six-year-old Aether, their hearts melted, and their reservations waned.

"If the goddess trusts him, then so do I."

Aether gratefully addressed the members, saying, "Thank you, everyone, for having me."

Astraea smiled warmly and said, "Aether, you have an extraordinary gift within you. We are honoured to have you join our familia."

Aether replied with determination, "Thank you, Astraea-sama. I promise I won't disappoint you or the others!"

Astraea, filled with confidence, declared, "Let's give him a chance. I believe Aether will surprise us all."

Aether affirmed, "I'll make sure I live up to your expectations, everyone!"

With Astraea's unwavering belief in Aether's potential and the collective understanding that he was just a child, the Astraea Familia reached a consensus. They decided to make an exception and welcomed Aether into their midst, accepting him as a member of their family.

Aether's eyes wandered around a bit. the one who had called him cute

The next one was a pallum with pink hair and a cheeky grin on her lips. Next to her sat a wolf woman with brownish skin and white hair. Next came an amazoness, with for them usual black hair and quite an interesting choice of clothes.

Then came two human girls, one looked like a sword fighter, the other maybe like a healer.

The next was a sturdy dwarf, it was Aether's first time seeing a female dwarf, her face was round and friendly, yet she looked strong enough to snap his spine with just her hands. The next one was a human again, wearing a robe like a mage would.

Next to her were a green haired elf and one human.

"So, Aether. Let me introduce you to everyone."

Astrea moved her hand in the way that Bell had moved his eyes, pointing at every one of her followers.

"From left to right. These are Kaguya, Lyra, Neze, Iska, Maryuu, Noin, Asta, Ryana, Celty, Ryu, and of course Alise."

He bowed slightly. "N-Nice to meet you."

Ryuu Lion, the calm and stoic level 2 adventurer, stepped forward and greeted Aether with a nod. "Welcome to Astraea Familia. If you ever need guidance or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask."

Alise Lovell, the boisterous captain of the familia, chimed in with a grin. "I'm Alise Lovell, Everyone's Big Sister here, who keeps these rowdy bunch in check. We're like a big family here, so get ready for some wild adventures and good times."

Kaguya, the graceful yet occasionally unrefined adventurer, offered a playful smile. "I'm Kaguya. Let's see if you can keep up with us. We're a lively bunch, always looking for new thrills and challenges."

(Image)

The rest of the members, including Lyra, Neze, Noin, and the others, introduced themselves one by one, sharing their names and a few words of welcome.

(Image)

After the introductions, Alise asked

"So Lady Astraea when are you going to give him your blessings"

"Oh i wont" Everyone become confused when she said that

"Eh but why Lady Astraea wouldn't you said that he will be joining our familia?" Kaguya asked in a confused tone

"Yes, now I will explain it and remember you are not allowed to revel it to anyone outside our familia"

"""Yes""" everyone spoke in unison

"As you see Aether is quite special, from what he told me he can use spirit magic to get stronger until he won't reach his limits he won't be getting a falna"

"So did you make a pact with a spirit, what kind of spirit it is" Alise asked with curiosity in her eyes

"The nature from my spirit magic comes from Jupiter the lighting spirit"

"So don't usually travel's with its contactor so where if it"

"Well my case is similar to crozzo family who can use their special magic for smithing due to the spirit blessing even without them"

"Hey so can you create a magic sword like Crozzo" Lyra asked a bit excited

"Well i never try it so I don't know" Aether shook his head but it did give him a idea

'now that she mentioned, it sure is a great idea to try'

"Hey girls that enough questions now, don't ask him much it's makes him a bit uncomfortable"

Alise pouted "But I wanted to talk more"

"We can talk more at dinner so now let him rest, Ryuu could you show him his room"

"Yes Lady Astraea"

Ryuu led Aether to the living quarters, showing him the rooms where he would be staying. Aether's room happened to be adjacent to Alise, who was mumbling something like "nights going to be great" it made him a bit nervous

Aether's room was cosy and modestly furnished, with a comfortable bed, a small desk, and a view of the tranquil garden. It felt like a sanctuary, a place where he could rest and gather his thoughts before embarking on new adventures.

As Aether settled into his room, Ryuu proposed a practice spar to gauge his abilities. Aether gladly accepted, eager to showcase his skills.

The two adventurers moved to a spacious training area, ready to engage in a friendly bout.

Aether gripped his sword and made the move

(Image)

Ryuu gripped her sword, her movements fluid and precise.

(Image)

She blocked his attack and send him away but Aether was not done he channeled his magic, summoning crackling bolts of lightning around him.

He then send his lightning on his word and send a slash

(Image)

Ryuu was surprised that he could use magic without a falna, but if what her goddess told about him, then it makes sense Aether charge and and with enough force try to hit her but it was deflected by Ryuu

Their blades clashed, the sound echoing through the training area. Aether's lightning-infused strikes were swift and powerful, complementing his natural talent with the sword. Ryuu, impressed by his agility and control, matched his movements with her own expert swordplay.

They danced around each other, exchanging blows and testing their limits. Aether's lightning magic enhanced his attacks, adding an electrifying element to his sword strikes. Ryuu, in turn, showcased her finesse and experience, parrying and countering with precision.

The spar intensified as both adventurers pushed themselves further. Aether's lightning magic became more pronounced, creating dazzling displays of electrifying power with each strike. Ryuu responded with her own techniques, gracefully evading his attacks and delivering precise counterattacks.

Their swords clashed with resounding force, creating sparks that illuminated the training area. Aether's determination and skill were evident as he adapted to Ryuu's moves, his lightning-imbued swordplay becoming more refined and unpredictable.

Ryuu's eyes gleamed with excitement, her competitive spirit ignited. She pushed the tempo, launching a flurry of strikes that tested Aether's agility and reflexes. Aether responded in kind, his lightning-infused sword weaving a web of crackling energy around him.

Aether and Ryuu keep exchanging blows after blows, each displaying their unique skills and unwavering determination. The other members of the Astraea Familia watched in awe, witnessing the sparks of potential and camaraderie between the two adventurers.

With one final clash, Aether and Ryuu stepped back, their blades separated by a mere inch. They stood there, chests heaving, a mixture of exhaustion and satisfaction visible on their faces. It was a moment of mutual respect, a testament to their dedication and unwavering resolve.

Ryuu, her voice laced with admiration, broke the silence. "Impressive, Mr Cranel. Your lightning magic and swordsmanship are remarkable. You've must have really trained hard."

Aether, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips, nodded in gratitude. "Thank you, Miss Ryuu. Your skills are exceptional as well. I'm honoured to have sparred with you."

The other members of the Astraea Familia approached, their applause filling the training area. They congratulated Aether on his display of skill and welcomed him wholeheartedly into the familia.

As the echoes of their applause faded away, Aether realised that he had found a place where he could grow, and place he could finally call it "Home" With the Astraea Familia by his side, he felt ready to face any challenge that awaited him in the vast world of Orario.

After the intense spar, the Astraea Familia members gathered in a small courtyard within the Stardust Garden. The warm rays of the sun cast a gentle glow, creating a serene atmosphere. Aether found himself surrounded by his newfound companions, each of them wearing expressions of camaraderie and acceptance.

Astraea, the benevolent goddess and leader of the familia, approached Aether with a kind smile. Her indigo eyes shimmered with a hint of fascination as she observed him. It was clear that she had taken a liking to the young adventurer, his pure soul and unwavering determination resonating with her own compassionate nature.

"Welcome, Aether," Astraea said, her voice carrying a sense of warmth and wisdom. "It seems you possess both remarkable skills and a noble heart. You are a valuable addition to our familia."

Aether, humbled by her words, bowed respectfully. "Thank you, Lady Astraea. I am honoured to be a part of the Astraea Familia. I will do my best to live up to your expectations."

The other members of the familia, including Ryuu, Alise, Kaguya, and the rest, gathered around Aether, forming a tight-knit circle. They shared stories of their past adventures, their aspirations, and their dreams for the future. Laughter and banter filled the air, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendship.

Soon the dinner everyone took their seats for dinner

When dinner was served, Astrea raised her glass.

"Tonight we celebrate our new member, be very welcome, Aether."

"""""""""""Welcome, to the Astrea familia!"""""""""""

He smiled happily. "Thank you all very much. I will do my best to do my part in the familia."

"I'm sure you will fit in perfectly, Aether."

The food was the best he had ever since he came to Orario, though his father cooking was heavenly but this food was also great that Aether said that.

"This tastes amazing! The best food I had in a very long time!"

Astrea smiled. "You like it?"

"Very much! Whoever made this is an amazing cook!" His father always said to praise for good food in earnestly.

Ryana and Maryuu smiled a bit flustered, they were used to get praises by the others, but never from a boy. To have a boy inside their home was something new for all of them.

To have dinner with such a big familia was really nice, Bell was sure that his family at home would be really proud of him to have found such a nice familia.

As dinner continued they keep sharing things, Ryuu's stoic facade softened by a genuine smile, clapped a hand on Aether's shoulder. "You've proven yourself to be a worthy comrade, Mr Cranel. Your lightning magic and swordsmanship are impressive, but it's your pure heart that truly sets you apart. We're lucky to have you with us."

Aether returned the smile, grateful for the acceptance he had found within the Astraea Familia. "Thank you, Miss Ryuu. You can call me by my name, and yeah I feel the same way about all of you. I will promise to do my best."

Aether soon got used to live in a house with so many women, there wasn't one familia member that didn't like him.

And they were really amazed by his strength.

Life was good.

As the days went by, Aether and the Astraea Familia become more familiar. They trained together, facing the trials of the dungeon as a cohesive unit. Each member offered their guidance and support, helping Aether grow both as an adventurer and as a person.

[A/N: Not in a Lewd way you shotacons]

Astraea, in particular, took a special interest in Aether's development. She would often join him during his training sessions, offering him valuable insights and sharing her wisdom. Aether found solace in her presence, her calming demeanour guiding him through the labyrinth of his own emotions.

As time passed, Aether's initial admiration for Astraea deepened into something more. He found himself drawn to her kindness, her unwavering belief in the goodness of humanity. And Astraea, too, found herself captivated by Aether's pure soul and his unwavering determination to protect others.

Their bond grew stronger with each passing day, their connection forming the foundation of trust and friendship. Astraea became not only a mentor and leader to Aether but also a figure of affection and admiration. Their interactions were marked by mutual respect and a shared sense of purpose.

Within the Astraea Familia, a unique dynamic had taken shape. They were not just a group of adventurers, but a family bound by bonds of loyalty and care. Aether had found his place among them, and together, they faced the challenges of the dungeon and the trials of life with unwavering unity.

And so, in the vast labyrinth city of Orario, the Astraea Familia stood as a beacon of hope and strength. With Aether at their side, they were ready to face whatever destiny had in store for them, forging their own paths and leaving an indelible mark on the world they called home.

As the sun began to set on another eventful day, Aether and Alise found themselves sitting on a tranquil rooftop overlooking the city. The cool evening breeze brushed against their faces, carrying with it a sense of peace and contentment.

"You know, Aether," Alise said, her voice tinged with a hint of nostalgia, "I haven't had such an invigorating spar in a long time. Your lightning magic and swordsmanship are truly remarkable. You've inherited your father's skill and surpassed the level of a typical adventurer."

Aether chuckled modestly, his eyes reflecting the fading sunlight. "I have to admit, I owe a lot to my father's training. But it's the experiences I've had and the bonds I've formed that have shaped me into who I am today."

Aether nodded, a soft smile gracing her lips. "I can see that. Your strength not only lies in your magic and combat skills but also in your unwavering determination and the connections you forge with others. It's a rare quality, one that will carry you far."

Aether glanced at Ryuu, a sense of gratitude shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Ryuu. Your guidance and friendship mean a lot to me. I'm glad to have you as my comrade."

Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching. Astraea appeared, her presence commanding yet gentle. She joined them on the rooftop, her indigo eyes sparkling with warmth.

"It's a beautiful night, isn't it?" Astraea remarked, her gaze sweeping across the cityscape. "Orario holds so much potential, but it is also a place filled with challenges and darkness. It is our duty to bring light to those who need it."

Aether nodded in agreement, his voice filled with determination. "I believe that with the strength of our bonds and our shared goals, we can make a difference in this city. We can protect the innocent and stand against the forces of evil."

Astraea's smile grew, a sense of pride evident in her expression. "You have grown so much since you joined us, Aether. Your pure soul and unwavering resolve inspire us all. I have no doubt that you will become a beacon of hope in Orario."

The three of them sat in comfortable silence, the weight of their shared purpose settling upon them. They knew that their journey together was just beginning, and there would be many more trials and adventures to come. But with each passing day, their bonds grew stronger, their resolve unyielding.

In the depths of the labyrinth and the challenges that awaited them, the Astraea Familia stood united, a force to be reckoned with. And as Aether gazed at his companions, he couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and excitement for the future that lay ahead.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months as Aether continued his journey with the Astraea Familia. Together, they faced numerous trials in the depths of the dungeon, battling fearsome monsters and overcoming formidable obstacles.

During their adventures, Aether grew closer to each other. He admired Ryuu's unwavering loyalty and strength, finding solace in her calm presence amidst chaos. Alise's straightforward and caring nature warmed his heart, and her sharp wit brought laughter to their encounters. Kaguya's grace and determination inspired him, their spirited debates pushing them both to grow.

Neze's fierce loyalty and protective nature became a shield for their comrades, while Lyra's unwavering support and cheerful spirit uplifted their morale in the darkest of times. Noin's steadfast determination and Asta's wisdom became invaluable assets in their endeavours. Celty's gentle and empathetic nature brought a sense of tranquillity to the group, and Maryuu's resourcefulness and quick thinking often saved them from peril.

And then there was Astraea, their benevolent goddess and leader. Aether couldn't help but feel a special connection to her, as if their souls resonated on a deeper level. He admired her selflessness and the way she cared for the people of Orario, always putting their well-being above her own. Her unwavering faith in him fueled his determination to become stronger, knowing that he had her support and belief.

As time continue to pass, Aether's power continued to grow. His lightning magic crackled with intensity, and his swordsmanship became more refined with each passing day. He found himself embracing his role as a protector, fighting not just for his own goals but for the sake of his familia and the people of Orario.

Outside of their adventures in the dungeon, moments of respite allowed the familia to strengthen their bonds even further. They shared meals together, exchanging stories and laughter. Aether often found himself engaging in friendly spars with Ryuu, honing his skills while enjoying the camaraderie they shared. Late nights were filled with discussions about dreams, fears, and the future.

As Aether reflected on his journey, he couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude. The Astraea Familia had become his family, a group of individuals who accepted him for who he was and supported him wholeheartedly. With their unwavering support and the growing strength of their bonds, Aether knew that together, they would face any challenge that lay ahead.

And so, the Astraea Familia continued to forge their path in the labyrinth, their hearts united in a common purpose. Aether's journey was far from over, but with his newfound family by his side, he knew that he had the strength to overcome any obstacle and fulfil his destiny as a beacon of hope in the city of Orario.
