Chapter 9

As Hiro and everyone arrived at the gym, he looks around. The gym was decorated, just like in a normal opening ceremony but think about our situation as anything but normal. Looking around to see if the famous Mascot Bear is around.

Hiro "Well I guess we arrived early, bt the looks of the gym we might get an ordinary opening ceremony"

Hiro " Well not really, we will be meeting the most dangerous person in the world"

As soon as my words came out of my mouth like it was timed, it appeared.

??? "Hey there, howdy, hello! Is everyone here? Good! Then let's get things rolling!"

The unusually high-pitched voice said from behind the podium. then something that was within my expectation but surprises nonetheless happened a black and white teddy bear, with a huge belly button jump on the podium. I'm really surprised at how technological advances this bear is.

Chihiro "A... teddy bear" the small loli ask

??? " I am not a teddy bear. I am Monokuma! and I'm the headmaster of this academy! Nice to meet you all"

??? AAAHHH!!!! The teddy bear can talk!!!" SHouted the most overweight teen I ever say, like those buttons are the strongest of their kind, holding on for dear life. Aside from his overweight figure, He had a very unproportionate body, large hands, thin legs, and a face that weirdly, resembles a hamster. He has short black hair that ends with curled points against his cheeks and forehead and dot-like eyes and he wore a pair of glasses over them. He wore a white button-down shirt, an orange tie which has a patterned vertical double-headed blue arrow design, with a light grey, unbuttoned cardigan over his shirt, a pair of dark gray trousers, and on his back, he had an orange backpack. I think his name was Hifumi Yamada, the otaku.

Ishimaru "C-Calm down! I'm sure that there's a speaker inside it!"

Monkuma "I told you already, I'm not a teddy bear!!! I am Monokuma, and I am your headmaster!" the bear shouted angrily

Hifumi "AAAAAH! It moved!"

??? "Seriously man, calm down! It's probably just some kind of remote control toy or something"

His name is Mondo Owada. He has slightly tanned skin and a tall, muscular build which gives him a bulky figure. He wears his hair as a dark-brown punch perm with a styled-1960s pompadour. He has a deep-ridged black eye-line circling his purple eyes, which gives him an intimidating appearance. His outfit reflects that of a typical Japanese biker gang member with the symbol of The Crazy Diamonds and worn open over a white A-shirt. He wears baggy black pants held up by a belt and his shoes are white loafers. The buckle of Mondo's belt is shaped like the face of a Komainu. (AN: I did some research)

Monokuma "How dare you to compare me to some child's plaything... You cut me deep. Deeper than the Marana Trench"

Monkuma "My remote control system is so complex that it would even put NASA to shame... stop making me saying things that might destroy NASA's dreams! I won't be able to BEAR it if I will"

Hiro "Bear it? That's a lame pun can't u come up with something better... and can we move on"

Monokuma "Well I was told that I come up with the best puns, now, then, moving on. We need to quickly get started," the bear said"

Junko "Ahhh no more puns, I expecting more"

Monokuma "Now then. Everyone, stand at attention and bow! Good morning!"

Ishimaru "Good morning!"

??? "Y-you don't h-have to respond"

Let me see Toko Fukawa. She a teen wearing glasses. She has long dark purple hair she keeps in two braids. She had grey eyes and large round glasses. She wore a typical purple Japanese school female uniform with a noticeably lengthy skirt. Well, she will cut it later on automatically turning herself into a sexy goddess.

Monokuma "Now then, let's commence this memorable entrance ceremony! First, let's talk about what your school life here will be like.

You, who were chosen to attend this academy for awakening your amazing talents, respected as the world's hope. And to ensure the protection of this hope... You will all live a communal life solely within the confines of this school. Everyone will live in harmony together, and will follow the regulations of the school! Regarding the end of this communal life... there isn't one! You'll be spending the rest of your life here! This is the school life you are all assigned to!"

Toko "W-What did you say? O-our whole lives?"

Monokuma "Oh, but fear not! We have quite an abundant budget, so you won't lack for all the common conveniences"

??? "That's not the problem!"

The student that exclaimed he recognized, Sayaka Maizono, the Ultimate Pop Sensation. Sayaka had long, dark blue hair, which she held in place with several clips. Her eyes were also dark blue. She wore eyeliner and a blush, which Hiro assumed that she wore makeup to help keep her appearance. She wore a traditional Japanese school uniform comprising of a long-sleeved white shirt with a blue sailor collar and a pink ribbon bow tie with tails, a blue tartan skirt, and black thigh-high socks. I think one of my songs was sold to her agent to wonder if she knows me.

Junko "What the hell!? Are you saying that I have to live here forever!?"

"I am no liar, that much you can be certain of! Oh, and just so you all know, you have all been 100% cut off from the outside world, so there's no need to worry about that nasty place outside of this school ever again!"

Mokoto "Cut off? So all of these metal platings around the school are to keeping us trapped in here?"

Monokuma "That's exactly what they are there for. No matter how much you may yell and screen for help.... help will never come. So with all of that in mind feel free to live out your life with reckless abandon"

Hiro " Then are those cameras around the school so you can keep your eye on us."

Monokuma "Yep and there all HD so don't try and hid anything"

Hiro "So if I were to walk around naked in my room would you still be watching," I said sending a flirtatious look at the Bear.

Monokuma "Ohhh trying put on a show for me, well I welcome it full-heartedly"

??? "This is just a really bad joke..."

Well, look at this another student Jason recognized, Leon Kuwata, the Ultimate Baseball Star. He has dyed orange spiked hair, a goatee, and pale blue eyes. He wore a white blazer jacket with a popped collar, a white shirt with a red grunge skull design, and dark blue jeans. He also wore a padlocked chain necklace, two overlapping studded belts, rings, and several piercings - one in his lower lip, one in his tongue, and six in his right ear. Hmmm if everything plays out like the plot he is a dead man, wonder if it worth being friends with him.

Mondo "Yeah! Cut the crap, you fucking shit! It isn't funny anymore!"

Monokuma "You are all a bunch of skeptics, aren't you? But, I suppose you live in an age where you are taught to doubt others. Well, you'll have plenty of time to find out whether I speak the truth"

Celestia "It would be quite... problematic to live in here forever..."

Monokuma "What's wrong with you guys? You all came to Hope's Peak Academy of your own free will, and now you want to leave amid the opening ceremony? Oh, but you know... there IS one way for you to leave school..."

Toko "R-really?".

Monokuma "I, the headmaster, have created a special clause for all those who want to leave! I call it...the Graduation Clause! Now, let me tell you the details of this little rule. As I mentioned earlier, you are to maintain an environment of harmony, and we rely on a communal lifestyle to do so. However... if someone were to disrupt that harmony, they alone would be allowed to leave. That's the Graduation Clause!"

I was about to ask what he meant by disrupting the harmony, but before I could ask

"What do you mean by "disrupt that harmony"?"

This someone he recognized very well, He was Byakuya Togami, the Ultimate Affluent Progeny. He had short, dirty blond hair, blue eyes, and wears white-framed glasses. He had a tall figure, with considerably long legs. He wore a black suit, with a white shirt underneath, a dark green crossover tie, and a black belt. He had an aura of arrogance around him.

Monokuma"Puhuhu... Well... you know... if a student were to murder another..."

The atmosphere in the entire room grew heavy as everyone's blood went cold after they heard what the bear said. Even the more stoic people of the group weren't unfazed by this change. Everyone showed a reaction. Everyone but me because I already know this.

I finally did it over one housing word in one chapter fuck yeah. well to be specific 1,533 words not to brag or anything.
