Unsealing: The Introduction

In a vast universe where gods are neither good nor evil and where countless dimensions exist, their minor political fights can cause enormous repercussions in the real world due to the intrigue of apostles who seek to please their respective gods. In this universe, the only law is the law of the universe itself, which punishes the gods as harshly as it lets them wield their strength, often leading to the crumbling of entire worlds in their fury.

Amidst this chaos exists a legend of 108 mysterious beings known as "Nightmares". These Nightmares can take on the form of anything from plants to viruses to ghosts, and are not bound by any level of power. They were born during the war of Hekai, one of the strongest gods at the time and the keeper of time and space, who guarded the tree and was badly injured by a faction of rebellious gods who sought to take the fruits of the tree of the end, an equivalent of the world tree that accumulates the energy of everything that ends.

The only purpose of this deviant group was experiment and gain power for themselves. However, they did not anticipate that the power contained within these fruits was far beyond what they could handle.

ensuing fight that shook the tree and caused some fruits to fall into the hands of a few gods. Some went missing after obtaining the fruits, while others doomed their own dimensions by the calamities that befell them. Only a select few were able to take control of the fruits, while others were turned into crazy monsters, unbound by any law and ravaging entire dimensions.

The Nightmares are the cursed beings that resulted from this chaos. Some turned into monstrosities, while others became stronger beings, but lost their consciousness in the process. The Nightmares remain a constant threat in the universe, as they are not bound by any law and are capable of turning things to oblivion.
