The Mission at Hand

How dangerous is the excitement of an enemy while he plots the downfall of the simple...

How dangerous can an enemy be when he's close, pretending to be a friend while he secretly plot the downfall of the innocent..

After narrating all that happened during the day to his wife, prince Oha that evening went back to the palace to pre inform the Queen of her schedule before retiring home for the day..

His purpose of informing her before time was not really about the schedule,no,far from that.. he's of the opinion of making sure nothing goes wrong.

Early the next day,the prince set out to the mountainous lands to pay as promised the two 'thousand Gold Coin' to the Badgers...

Also, using the opportunity to inform them on the schedule of the Queen...

"Jazzra, here's the balance of the 'two thousand Gold Coin' which I promise to bring forth today..."

"I have fulfilled my part of the deal to a fault,so fulfil yours...after which I promise to pay the remaining 'two thousand Gold Coin' as agreed.."

Seeing the Gold Coin,the greedy eyes of Jazzra sparkled as a flame of dangerous origin..

"How are we sure that you'll fulfil your part of the deal and not come after us as you used to?"

Licking his upper lip as if drinking a wine..

"Doe you tried concealing your purpose of wanting to kill the Queen and made us believe it was for the purpose of revenge but you forget that we're the 'Badgers' and we have eyes and ears everywhere,even in the palace.."

"Pufffff"

*Jazzra shook his head in pity*

"You never thought we would know that the Queen is pregnant,eh.."

"You never thought we would know that you're after the Queen because of her pregnancy and not the idea of revenge which you want us to buy.."

"You think we don't know that killing the Queen will automatically eradicate every iota of hope dwelling in the king's mind and will in return favor your desire of becoming king,eh..?"

With a bright sparkling eyes of flames, indicating danger..

"You think we don't know that you're eyeing the throne and you're after the Queen because she carries the heir..?"

Prince Oha was shocked as Jazzra as he unravelled his hidden intent...his thoughts running wild..

"How did he know all these?"

"Did anyone in my household reveal these to him?"

"No, that's not possible.."

Realizing that his intents had been known, prince Oha couldn't be bothered..why would he?

After all the opposite party are mere crooks who ferment trouble and get paid for doing so...

Jazzra was only bold because he wants more to the deal, his greed is topnotch and as such,he loves taking advantage of his clients request to make more out of them..

*Sigh*

"Jazzra,since you and your crew knew all this,why didn't you just reveal it to the whole world and see who believes you..?"

These words were said by the prince because he knew the opposite party so well,a crook that wants more and instead of shivering before Jazzra,he thought of letting him know who truly is Boss...

"Huh"

It was as if a heavy punch from a giant hit the face of Jazzra and his crew...after expecting the other party to coward before them,he turned round to stand firm as if nothing happened..

Prince Oha wasn't even scared of his secret coming out to the public,why should he when by his own might he'll easily destroy the revealer of his secret before he even utter a word...even this was well known to Jazzra and he knows that acting funny with the prince might end up badly for him and his crew...

"O... Jazzra,why act funny? Just name your price and let us get it done...I know you want an increment.."

*Boom!!!*

Jazzra had been caught up in his own game...

Scratching his head...

"My prince...,you see..em..em.."

"You know,the Badgers are more like an army at your disposal..so ..."

Scratching his head in hesitation...

Looking back at his generals of gods..

*Smiling devishly*

"Let's just say we want more to this deal.."

*Feeling infuriated*

"Jazzra speak up, I don't have all day."

*Clearing his throat*

*Kehe kehe..*

"I...I... sorry,we would want you to permit us operating non stop after we execute this deal for you and when you've finally become king.."

After Jazzra managed to utter his intent,he quickly took a gaze at his generals of gods before turning back to prince Oha, expecting his reply...

*Whoooooze*

A shock wave of seven oceans rushed through prince Oha..

He knew he can't grant the request of the Badgers,their reign only brings about chaos and unrest and that can't be allowed in his kingdom..

Although he needs them to execute his plan but that's it... there's no future plan for them...infact,he intends bringing their reign to a permanent stop to avoid ruining his reign...

The Badgers know too much of his plan and if they're allowed to reign with him, peradventure a conflict occur which he knows will definitely occur because the other party are all tyrants and would do anything to get their aim...he wouldn't be at their mercy for fear of revealing their past deals..

*Sigh* Thinking deeply and thoroughly...

"Puff"

"That's no problem at all,I can assure you that you have nothing to fear in regards to that but..."

"You must not misuse the freedom granted...if you do,then there's no agreement anymore"

Granting their request was only a decoy to prevent any heat ups in the contract...he needs them now and will use them to obtain his aim,after wish, he'll do away with all of them..

However,in other to make sure they're convince that he's truly sincere with his promise,he had to add a condition to the agreement,thus the 'but' attached..

*Smiling devishly...*

Jazzra seeing the sincerity of the words of prince Oha and finding them trustworthy, quickly accepted the deal..

"So how are we going to kill the Queen,my prince?"

"O! That.."

*Sigh*

"The Queen will be visiting the worlds of Men tomorrow,so I believe you guys could get the job done as she journeys with the guards.."

*Shock*

*Heart beat increasing..*

"Tomorrow? That's so close.."

"You know,these things need planning and without it,one is bound to fail."

The shortness of the time was really a revealer of how difficult the task at hand truly his... it's like going for battle,one must be prepared in numbers and in tactics and these are not on ground..

If it were to be a mere gods, Jazzra won't even blink an eyelid but come on... we're talking about the Queen of the universe on a trip, imagine the multitude of guards who will see her through the journey...

Seeing the tensed atmosphere,prince Oha quickly spoke up as if to encourage them..

"Tomorrow,the king and the elders will be going to visit Guile,'the wizard of Immortality', on that note,only a hundred and fifty soldiers will escort the Queen on her journey to the worlds of Men and I believe that's no problem at all for you to handle.."

*Huuuu*

*Pufffff*

The words of prince Oha gave a huge relief to Jazzra and his crew...

Aside the fifty generals of gods who always stay with Jazzra,the crew have a total of 'three hundred soldiers' which can be relied on in situations like this one..

"That's no problem,my crew and I would intercept them before they get to the boundary of the worlds.."

After several delebration between Jazzra,his generals of fifty gods and prince Oha,the parties finally came to an agreement...

"Make sure she's dead..."

"Cut off her head and remove the foetus from her womb and cut off his head as well."

Prince Oha intends a brutal killing of the Queen... avoiding mistakes was his stand point and at such, everyone with the Queen, being it soldiers or foetus must be brutality annihilated...no one must be spared...

"I can assure you that what you requested is as good as done ,you can go home and have a good rest with your wife...leave the professionals to do their job.."

Jazzra gave this assurance to the prince on the stand that his military outnumbers that which will journey along with the Queen...

However, there's a great warrior prince Oha and his allies of Badgers fail to recognize,even one they made mention of his name when planning...

A warrior of a rare strength,whose might alone exceed that of the supreme Gods... he's the true protector of the throne and universe

Although he doesn't move around as every other soldier but his might can't be matched by any in the universe..

His might have been hidden from knowledge...

His power is only made known when there's a threat to the throne or the king...and this time,the threat was directly against the throne and the future ruler of the universe...
