The Great Light

"Kafas, it's night and I'm already exhausted from storytelling, so let the curtain fall here today, "Master kino said, looking intently at kafas who's so eager to go all night listening to the stories.

" Okay, master kino."

With the story's abrupt end of the day, Master kino rose and headed to his quarters leaving kafas to his thoughts; how dangerous the enemy he will face in the nearest future kept him terrified all night...

"If Dracos could bring down Guile.., how...how..how on earth can I match him in combat?"...

***gbagan!gbagan!!***

The Bell sound of the temple jotted him to reality; somehow kafas slept off in his thoughts...

"Oh! it's meditation time," kafas quickly jumped off the bed, put on his temple wears, and hurried off to join the others; this being his first meditation.

Meditation is so important, as it helps one discover his inner strength and aid in knowing how to utilize it...

**At the temple's hall**

"Come up here kafas," a familiar voice quickly called from the multitude sitting in the hall...

"Sit down close to me; with hand pointed to a space beside him. You need proper directing to obtain the highest benefit of this spiritual exercise, "Master kino said before focusing on his meditating.

Kafas quickly sat down before him and imitating his posture; his legs were crossed with hands placed over them and having eyes closed...

After several attempts,kafas was unable to meditate properly as his thoughts were acting as a hindrance to the success of the process, seeing this, Master kino quickly stepped in...

"Take a deep breath in and out three times to calm your troubled mind, I can sense your troubled spirit."

***Boom***

Immediately after taking the little tutorial given by Master kino, kafas felt a huge calm within his spirit and it was as if a spark was set within his vessels.

"Better! now pay attention to the flow of energy within you," master kino chipped in another word briefly...

Seeing the progress of the exercise obtained by kafas, suddenly Master kino got up and asked everyone around kafas to grant him some space as if sensing that something serious was about to take place...

Shortly after the space was granted, a huge white light came over kafas which led to his entire body vibrating at an extremely high rate and his eyes emitting bright rays...

"That's it."

"That's it."

"Now try and control it, bring the force within you under your rule," Master kino said.

Kafas barely heard the voice of master Kino.

Before him was an extremely bright path leading to a huge bright throne with a being so radiant, sitting on it.

Kafas could hear a voice calling him, he was between two worlds...

"Come closer Kafas, come closer"...

Taking to the invite of the voice,kafas took his first step but.....it couldn't be more dangerous...

***gbuuzz...!!!***

His whole body exploded in light flashing rays that he blacked out...

..........

***Groans***

"..Ahhh...!!!"

A painful headache woke kafas from my slumber...

"Ahhh...!"

Trying to raise his head.

"He's finally awake Master kino," one of the young priests rushed toward kafas, alerting the others...

"Oooh!..finally!"

"How are you feeling kafas?!" Master kino who got to kafas as quickly as the young priest made the announcement, asked.

Hearing the question but could barely see those around him but knowing him whose voice he heard...

Kafas replied almost inaudibly...

***Groan***

"Humm!!!"

"Ahhh....!!!"

*Hesitating before speaking up*

"I'm feeling terrible, it's as if my whole body is broken into shreds a.....n...and it's as if my head is been drummed up."

"You'll be fine Son, just don't try to move yet, you need some rest," Master kino said.

"What happened to me Master kino?"

With a sorry face and as if feeling sad...

"You blacked out and went into a coma but thank goodness you're with us now and...and before you try asking me how long you have been in a coma, know now that you've been in this state for seven years."

"Seven what?!!!.... How could that even be possible Master kino?"

Seeing how troubled kafas is on hearing those words, he quickly advised...

"I'll explain better tomorrow when you're stronger but for now, I think you should take your rest."

Immediately after saying those words to kafas, master kino left the room to attend to other matters, leaving kafas in the care of the priests...

**The next day**

***Clears Throat***

"Humm!Hum!!"

"Morning kafas, I can see you're getting better," with a smile written on his face...

"Yes, Master kino."

Kafas was sitting on his bed, still worried about the coma thing.

"Master kino, how come I can't remember anything even after waking up?"

"That's not possible kafas."

"There must be something you remember."

"Hmmm,(placing a finger on lips)."

*Hesitating before speaking up*

"Kafas, before blacking out, what did you see?"

A confused look formed on kafas' face, not knowing what to say...

"I can't pick up on that right now, maybe you could help by telling me what happened that day."

Kafas thought of getting a hint from master kino...

"Kafas, on the day of your meditation, the light of Oasis came upon you and as I was trying to guide you to bring it under control, you lost control and that's it," master kino narrated briefly...

"Oh~! I see."

"It's the light then...hmm.."

Having a finger placed on his lip.

"Master kino, I....I..I...think I remembered seeing a bright huge white throne with someone seated on it."

"Wait! what?!"

Master kino exclaimed in shock...

"Could it be what I'm thinking?"

"It's definitely what I think!"

*Sigh*

Seeing the reaction of master kino,kafas became confused and curious at the same time...

"Master kino, what's it?"

"Now I understand what happened, kafas."

"You were never in a coma as we thought but was kept hidden by Oasis all these years till you reach the age of 'Twelve'; that's the right age to prepare you for the mission of a liberator," master kino added, giving clarity to kafas' thoughts...

"Master kino but why."

Master kino's experience was a guide to kafas, directing and answering the most question asked by kafas...

"From Dracos of cause, what else do you think will make him keep you safe if not knowing that his eldest brother was up to something dubious."

*Sigh*nodding his head as if getting clarity to the coma thing...

"Yes, you're right master kino."

Kafas admitted that even the supreme Gods care for him...

A thought flashed through his head as thoughts of the supreme Gods came forth...

"Master kino, talking about the supreme Gods, you are yet to tell me in detail the whole story."

"Oh!!! I forgot about that, you know, I promised to continue the story the next day before the drama of you going into a coma came up."
