"Oxi, where's your mother, I can't seem to find her anywhere in the house.."
"Mother is in the courtyard having some quiet time.."

Returning from the palace, prince Oha went in haste to his home in search of his wife...
Finding her at the castle's courtyard, he made haste towards her...
"Oma my love, there's a sudden change in plan.."
"Huh"
"What change can you be talking about at a time like this..."
A worried look was plastered on the face of Oma on hearing the words of prince Oha...also the countenance of the other party is nothing short of bewilderment...
Doe the prince accepted the offer on seeing the privileges he would gain from it, yet he wasn't short of fear that things might go wrong...
Planning well is one thing, executing the said plan is another...

"I will be journeying with the Queen to the world of Men tomorrow..."
Staring at Oma as the said word came off his lips, he hesitated a while, noting how the other party would react to it ...
"The king asked me to go with her since he wouldn't be able to accompany her due to the meeting he'll be having with Guile 'the wizard of immortality' and the elders..."

An outburst of shock vibrated the ears of prince Oha...

Taking a breather to calm herself down...
"I trust you might have turned the request down and that's why you look so upset.."

Scratching his head as if being infested with lice...

"Act.. actually.."
"Actually what?... don't tell me you accepted to accompany her cause that would be a wrong move.."
Seeing how tensed Oma looks, he knew he had to get her to understand and that has to be done fast...
*Sigh*
"Oma, it happened that after making a deal with the Badgers, the king requested while I was in the palace trying to get things ready for the journey of tomorrow.."
"My love, at first I thought it to be a foolish move to accept such a request and I turned it down but after thinking through it thoroughly, I was able to discover that it was a blessing in disguise, which caused me to accept it.."
Oma felt even more infuriated by the 'sound-like foolish explanation given by prince Oha...
Staring at him intently, with a mindset of taking his brains out and washing off the clog of mud stuck in his brains which always caused him to act foolishly...
Feeling infuriated," what foolish reason would make you waste the golden opportunity of eradicating all threat to the throne...eh?....speak up"
Staring at the angry woman before him...
"My love, think about it, if I should go with the Queen, I can easily get rid of the Badgers after they might have carried out the mission.."
The words 'getting rid of the Badgers' rang in Oma's head as a throng of bells..
Shining her beautiful eyes, she asked...
"My love, do you intend going against the Badgers or what?"
"Huh"
"Why will you use the word 'going against' as if they're a superior power to me?.. I intend on killing them immediately after they've killed the Queen.."
"I can't have such a low life of gods walking freely in my kingdom and moreover.."
"Leaving them to move freely and go about their business can only be a future threat to my reign.."
"Since they know too much, I have to shut them up permanently to secure my reign and that of my future children.."

It was as if a mountain of worries was lifted off her back as she contemplated on the words of prince Oha...
"Wow! My love, initially I thought it to be out of place for you to decide on such a request and to think that you accepted it almost gave me heartburn but since you laid down your reasons,...I must admit the wisdom attached to it is superb.."
Nodding her head in acceptance, her face glowing in wonder as she goggles at prince Oha...
"I'm beginning to see reasons why you must go with her..."

A nasty set of thoughts rushed through her head...
"Talking about going with her....hmmm.."

"I know you might not have thought about it but do you know that your traveling with the Queen would even make it possible to fill the void of failure should the Badgers fail in achieving the goals"
"Like you could finish the Queen off by yourself and make it seem like the Badgers did the killing, the pile of their dead bodies would act as evidence..."

"How many soldiers will you be traveling with, hope you were able to persuade the king for a smaller number?"

It was as if Oma's question ignited a cauldron of laughing gas in his head...

"Do I need to convince him? My mere acceptance of accompanying the Queen assured the king of total safety, thus, if it were to be possible, we might have embarked on this journey with no soldier.."

"My love, I can't seem to understand you... please reiterate.."
Oma seems at a loss of what her prince charming said, rolling her beautiful eyes, she fixed her gaze intently on him...
"My love, we would only be traveling with Fifty soldiers, a company far lesser for a royal as the Queen.."
"The beauty of it is that the Badgers would be attacking the convoy with the greatest might they ever have but here we are moving with a lesser number...an unexpected attack with the greatest loss ever.."
