A Hidden Enemy
Looking at how scared and frightened the 'seven high princes' look...
"This is not a case of who agrees or disagrees, the royal household must be investigated, "elder Kios stared at the princes in bewilderment..."
His thoughts running wild with eyes glowing as if a hungry wolf beholding prey...
"But..but..."Prince Oxi tried speaking up considering the consequences attached to his plots of dethronement.. however before he could complete his statement, elder Kios quickly hushed him...
"No, but prince Oxi..."
"No, but in a matter of this nature, the royal household must be investigated and that's final."
Being the highest-ranking elder of the universe and also the only kingmaker, his words are of high authority because in the absence of a king(a vacant throne), he who made the king possess' the power to legislate concerning the affairs of the universe until a king is crowned...
Prince Oxi, knowing that going against the kingmaker will be of no profit bowed his head in defeat...

"Let it be as you insist then, after all, I got nothing to hide...., I was simply trying to protect the dignity of the supreme king.."
"There's no point explaining yourself prince Oxi.."

"I know that smile, I think prince Oxi is up to something and I doubt if any good will come off it," without mincing words, prince Yani, bending his head spoke almost inaudibly to the band of princes..(prince Yani is the second oldest prince in the bands of princes).
*Hearing the words aired by prince Yani, the others nodded their heads in unison, giving him affirmative of truth*

"Elder Kios, if I may understand you properly, do you mean Oasis will be investigated first?"
Prince Oxi asked this question only to clear even the slightest doubt in his mind and being a wise crafty leader of a banned of cunning princes, his motives of asking is for him to plan his next move of action...
"Huh"
*Staring at prince Oxi in disbelief, elder Kios wondered*
"How in the world did he become so cheerful all of a sudden?"
"Wasn't he all moody some minutes past? How come he's all gleening with smiles?"
"Something is off but with time, all hidden motives will unravel."
Resisting the urge to reply to prince Oxi due to the fishy aura exhibited by him a few minutes ago..., however, for his reputation as the leader of the high princes, he had to suppress his anger...

"You heard correctly..but if I may ask..., why the question in the first place?"
"O .... nothing really..was just curious kinda."
Being curious was only deceit, hiding the true intent within...
Prince Oxi, having seen the possibility of making the king's death look like a murder committed by Oasis couldn't hide his excitement any longer...
How could he when a vacant throne stares boldly at him and the true heir is battling between worlds...
Why won't him, who have coveted the throne for so long a life seize this opportunity of making sure all legal link regarding the throne is blocked?
Moreover, he also is of the bloodline of the supreme.. thus, even if it meant sabotaging the reputation of his little nephew and ending the pitiful life of the crown prince to obtain the throne, then it's a fair win.
