6 Date With Lucy, Then Rebecca

Suddenly with a roar did David come to a stop in front of Lucy on the side of the street, the door automatically opening up to allow her to get in as he leaned forward a bit to look at her from under the roof with a grin.

''Time?''

Lucy scoffed as she got into the car, as the door closed behind her she shivered into the leather due to how comfortable it was as she leaned back into the car, getting comfortable with the warming seat. ''Where'd you score wheels like these?''

''A friend of a family, old Nomad blood, wanted to offload his wheels, and he knew I'd treat them well so he gave me one.''

Lucy's brows rose as she looked at him. ''That friend of yours got more? Maine might be interested, he loves custom cars... Falco might be interested as well.''

''Jack into the car, send the specs to the both of them and tell them to send me their own specifications back, just because he's getting rid of his cars, doesn't mean he isn't willing to put some work into them.''

Lucy leaned forward, jacking into the computer, after a bit her brows lifted.

''Damn David... This car is like a tank without the canon, how much did you spend on this?''

''You're going to hate me, but I only spent 15k.''

Lucy suddenly punched his arm as she exclaimed. ''Where the FUCK have you been hiding these connections?''

''Didn't hide them, just never had a reason to use them until now, Mom asked me to stay out of most things, and keep a clean record for work. Where do you want to eat at?''

''There's a good Chinese place not too far from here, makes actual edible food, we'll go there,'' Lucy said as she sent the specs to Maine and Falco, waiting for them to get back to her, sending the GPS pin and placing it onto the computers map.

Driving smoothly he weaved in and out of traffic, not caring for lights as he parked on the side of the street in front of the stall. Lucy got out first which caused someone to exclaim.

''Ah, Lucy girl! You finally bought some wheels, I knew you'd get tired of taking the train everywhere!'' It was an old Chinese lady who smiled from behind the stall.

David got out of the car next as the doors closed behind them.

''Oh... No, you found a handsome boyfriend...'' The Chinese lady slowly grew a grin as she gave David a once over before nodding to Lucy. ''Even better!''

Lucy laughed, shaking her head, but not correcting her as she took a seat at one of the stalls, David joining her.

''The usual Lucy, and for you young man?'' The old woman asked.

''I'll take the same as Lucy, how much?'' David asked, pushing the peeling menu up and discreetly using nanites to add more stickiness to it so it didn't fall again as he looked at the prices.

''Oh, she brought you here! How could I be cheap, just a hundred!''

Without questioning it, the amount was transferred to the old lady who grinned as she began to quickly cook.

Not a few minutes later did they have a meal, both of them eating at the stall. Lucy was right, the food wasn't bad at all.

After they finished, nursing her drink did Lucy swivel on the chair to look at the car.

David swiveled around as well, resting his elbows back onto the counter as he watched the car, he had left his jacket in the back behind the seats.

His piece is on clear display.

After a few minutes of silence, David finally popped the question.

''You want to take it for a spin?''

Lucy looked from the car to him, placing a hand on his leg as her eyes glowed softly. ''I would never impose on your baby...''

The car's driver's door suddenly clicked open, Lucy having hacked into it to do so.

''But since you asked!'' She suddenly moved, jumping into the driver's seat, causing him to laugh as he stood up, waving a hand over his shoulder. ''See you later beautiful!''

The Chinese lady got bashful at his compliment, making sure to burn the image of his head into her head in case he came back... And his cute little butt.

David entered the passenger seat as he relaxed back, reclining into his seat. ''Just don't scratch the paint.''

David pulled up outside the garage that the crew considered their little headquarters, Rebecca standing next to the car as the door opened. Her eyes widened a bit as she noticed David get out, not realizing that his muscles were cut so well despite his slender frame.

She noticed he was packing and nodded, proud of the new member. ''Didn't know you had wheels... They're nice, should get them clean though.''

David turned to look at his car, dirt, and dust all over it as if someone had gone a bit crazy driving it. He smiled a bit before he turned back to Rebecca as the door closed. ''After we finish at the range, I'll take you for a drive, we can get lunch.''

Rebecca looked up to him, squinting a bit as she spoke out loud. ''Are you trying to hit on me?''

David's brow lifted, grinning a bit. ''Should I have aimed a bit lower?''

There was a barking laugh from the garage, Falco was under Maine's car, seeming to be working on something. Judging by how dirty he was, it showed he must've been working on it for a while, no wonder they hadn't gotten back to Lucy about the specs.

Rebecca pulled back her fist and punched him in the stomach, causing him to lean forward a bit to hold his stomach.

''Careful choom, too many short jokes, and I'll aim lower next time,'' Rebecca said as she turned, stomping off towards the range.
