The MC is letting one of the guys that gr@ped his sister live, and even be in a relationship with her. Yes, she has Stockholm Syndrome. This author must have a gr@pe fetish because they have used it as a plot point in every one of their books(at least the ones I have looked at). You do know that there are other ways to paint a world as being "dark", right? I will spam this if it is deleted because it is disgusting. GSH.
This a slow burn, edgy teenager story with a nerfed nanite system whose primary role so far is healing and very slowly upgrading our MC. Anything else requires a specific knife from a bored out corpo somewhere in Night City (good luck with that). It's an OK story, but the pacing is too slow, and the MC annoys me to no end.
ok. I haven't read this yet so I won't give it a high rating. but if it's anything like elder blood Witcher I'm going to hate it. but I liked steel waste. besides the ending. and I haven't even touched unbound familiar given your track record with romance. and forced you make the romance. or god forbid EBWs "romance". because most if not all of zero no tsukaima focuses on the relationship between Saito and Louise. so I'll give this a shot. pls to butcher the characters like in EBW
Reading this is like when your on a train slowly watching it wreck while being helpless to change anything, we follow ORI the mc after his family gets wiped out and slaughtered and he goes through a coming of age as it were.. Slowly turning into a somewhat heartless mercenary with a longterm goal of finding his only leftover family, his kidnapped sister, the issue is that as said by other reviewers while I myself have not gotten to that part yet, the mc for some reason doesn't punish or kill the people who kidnapped and r@ped his sister and also probably murdered his family once he finds them along with her, and instead leaves them alone, which Is not only incredibly unrealistic and outright disturbing/ unfillial but makes us the reader after probably reading so many chapters by that point feel cjucked and betrayed, seeing from all those reviews As for me though although everywhere else the story is great, I know what's coming although the spoilers didn't reveal it all, and I know that I likely will want to drop it once i read it if it truly is that bad, overall good book ruined by the author in some strange self sabotage
I was hoping this book would be different from the zero’s familar but it seems author just likes to get our hopes up then demolish them, maybe I will continue to read it someday in the future unlikely, but for now it is being put on hold at the very least, considering how the author likes to take things from bad to worse I can only imagine the situation with the mc’s sister getting worse or some new problem coming along.
Warning: It has a bit of spoilers, but just a tiny little though. [Writing Quality] - 5 Stars [Stability of Updates] - 5 Stars [Story Development] - 5 Stars [Character Design] - 4 or 3 Stars [World Background] - 5 Stars [Review About The Fanfic]: The story is original and polished. The events that take place are not forced and flow smoothly throughout the chapter, giving hints at conspiracies and mysterious events surrounding the protagonist, his family, his unique tech, and everything. The author knows how to set up a stage for a big plot. The world background is also very good. not overly detailed, just enough for it to work nice and easy. Updates are consistent until now, and the grammar is almost perfect (i can only remember seeing two wrong words in 20+ chapters). The character is accurate and reasonable for a dystopian city and poor upbringing in the streets, though it doesn't really mean I like him. Even before tragedy struck him, he was kinda of an @ssh*le. Acurrate in the setting. Doesn't mean I have to like him though. I do hope he gradually chills overtime, it would be a pitty to drop this for just this particular reason. Just a reminder, this is personal taste rather than an imparcial review about the character. [Review About The Author]: Gotta say, your Zero no Tsukaima fanfic, while very detailed and with an interesting and unique plot, has the most unlikable character I've ever seen (or rather, that I put up the most before eventually dropping), just so dumb, stupid, and a thousand other things. He had no common sense or intellect, and excusing this on his age does not help making it tolerable for much longer, each chapter was painful. I do give props for everything else though. Your witcher fanfic romance and ending was not great, lets leave it at that. I sincerely hope you try to make this fanfic, which already has an awesome start, work. The character growth, the romance (maybe even delete it completely if it means saving the fanfic), I'm worried about those 2 elements. That's all I have to say, have a good one. :D
