Chapter !#

The next few days passed by for Sebastian. Once again, it was filled with complete boredom. The only times he wasn't wishing for his existence to end was when he'd flirt with Akeno in between classes.

However, since the night Raven peeked in on the couple, Akeno has been very busy with training.

'Is getting stronger really that fun?' Sebastian had to ask himself. 'How the hell do I train?'

He realized that other than spending points to power up his abilities, he didn't really have a way to strengthen himself. Firstly, Rias had already told him that his ability was unique in this world. Although it obeyed the laws of the world, it was far from natural.

'I guess I'll go ask Rias.' He decided. 'Even if she can't help, at least I'll understand my ability a little bit more.'

And thus, he did so. After classes were completed, Sebastian made his way to the Occult Research Club.

He knew that even if he knocked to the entrance of the massive building, nobody inside would be able to hear him anyway, so he simply opened the doors and made himself at home.

However, as he entered the building, he heard many voices upstairs, voices of a dozen or so.

He immediately walked up the stairs and entered the room where the commotion was coming from.

The second he opened the door, dozens of eyes locked onto him.

"Bad time?" He asked using his notepad.

"Not at all. Take a seat." Rias spoke before anybody present could kick him out.

"A human?" An obnoxious voice came from an obnoxious-looking blonde. "Why the hell did you let a human come here?" He asked Rias.

"Last I checked, this area is under my rule, and who I let in my territory, is my choice." Rias retorted.

"Ah yes, of course." The man spoke. "However, the second you get married to me, everything here will belong to me as well." He laughed.

"Our rating game will decide that." Rias recoiled slightly. She knew that she didn't have much of a chance in the upcoming fight. She didn't have a full peerage yet, and she was purposefully given only a three-month notification of her marriage to Riser. All the training she put her peerage through in the past few months wouldn't be enough to fight a full peerage with multiple years of fighting experience.

There was one singular trump card.

"Hey! We're gonna kick your ass so hard that your friend chicken ass will be too embarrassed to show up in the same city as President!" Sebastian noticed that Rias' newest peerage member was up in arms about protecting her.

"You have a mute human here and a recently reincarnated devil? Hahahahaha!" The fried chicken couldn't help but laugh. "You're really grasping at straws Rias! But don't worry, when we're done with the rating game, I'll be sure to teach your peerage some manners as well!"

This sentence strung a cord with Sebastian.

"Rias. If your marriage with him means that everything you own becomes his, does that also mean that your peerage will become his as well?" Sebastian asked Rias using his notepad.

"Yes." She replied with a guilty-stricken expression. She knew exactly why he was asking. He was worried that Akeno would also become Riser's.

Sebastian's usually charming face turned cold.

"Hahaha, does the mute have a crush on one of you?" The man questioned. The second he said this, Rias got an idea.

"Yes, Riser, he's Akeno's boyfriend." Rias replied. She wasn't proud of it, but at this point she was desperate. She would try to rope Sebastian into this.

It was likely that he would've picked a fight with Riser anyway, but Rias was desperate enough to actively try and force Sebastian into it.

"Oh? Well, I'll make sure you get you a front-row seat when I claim her for myself!" Riser taunted.

"That's enough." A grey-haired MILF that was overlooking the conversation stepped in. Her job was to make sure that Riser and Rias didn't fight before the date of the rating game.

She tried to stop any potential fight, but the damage had already been done.

Sebastian rose from his seat and approached Riser, who stood at the same height.

"I will not tolerate fights before the rating game." The grey-haired woman re-iterated.

"Even with a worthless mute that isn't even in Rias' peerage?" Riser asked with a venomous tone.

"There will be no-" Her response was interrupted by one word.

"Kneel." Sebastian spoke out loud.

*CRASH*

Instantly, Riser's legs gave out underneath him and his knees crashed into the wooden flooring. In pure confusion and shock, his eyes rose to meet Sebastian's who now loomed over him.

Sebastian knew that the second he tried anything aggressive, he'd be stopped instantly by the grey-haired woman. However, it didn't mean that he couldn't destroy the confidence that Riser had built up by coming here and gloating.

Simply being in a position subservient of a 'mute human' hurt Riser's pride to an extent that couldn't be described with words. However, just as he felt humiliation, he also felt fear.

No one in the underworld had an ability anywhere close to the ability to control others with their words to that extent. There were some that could 'charm' but it took a very long time and multiple meetings for such a mind-bending ability to take effect. Yet, this powerless human was able to compel his legs to give out when he pleased? Riser was furious.

"ARGH!" The second he felt strength return to his legs, Riser coated his fist with flames and attempted to concave the human's skull.

"How foolish." The grey-haired woman shot into action. She blocked the attack that Riser had attempted to throw and immediately threw him to the ground.

*CRACK*

With little hesitation, she shattered Riser's arm.

"AHHHHH!!!" His screams filled the room.

"Perhaps you will put more thought into acting against the wishes of one of the four Great Satan's next time." The woman spoke in a monotone voice while standing above a writhing Riser.

"Riser!" His peerage full of women immediately came to his aid, helping him with his broken arm.

"Take him back home." The MILF ordered Riser's peerage.

After some venomous glares shot towards her, they complied, using the same teleporting circle they used to get here in the first place.

"And you." The MILF singled out Sebastian. "Never use that ability again outside of combat."

It was obvious that even she was wary against such an unknown ability. She had protected Sebastian as he was Rias' guest and she knew that her husband would be pissed should his sister's guest be injured. However, against such an unknown, cautiousness was very much advised.

Sebastian nodded in response and turned back to Rias' peerage.

Rias was in shock at the fact that Sebastian had such a strong reaction to Riser's taunts. She was most definitely trying to rope him into this, but she didn't expect him to dive in head-first.

"That was hot." Akeno flirted with Sebastian the second Riser left.

"Rias, mind helping me out? I'd like your opinion on something." Sebastian asked using his notepad.

"Of course."

Seven days later, Sebastian could be seen in a fairly old building. He way sitting up straight on his bed without a shirt, closing his eyes and trying to concentrate. Behind him, Rias pressed her body against his back. While in front of him, Akeno had her shirt and bra off, pressing her nipples against his chest.

However, this wasn't a time to get aroused. Sebastian did his best to concentrate on the ethereal concept known as mana.

For almost a week straight, he'd been trying to grasp the ability to manipulate the mana in his body, and for a week straight, he'd failed.

Rias' peerage was going through a last week of intense training before having to fight in the rating games. However, even in that stressful week, both Rias and Akeno tried to help him by connecting their mana circuits with his to try and let him get a grasp on mana. However, it was never successful.

"Sorry for wasting your time." Sebastian apologized using his notepad.

"How could I ever say no to this?" Akeno flirted, pressing her tits against him even more.

"It's fine Sebastian." Rias sighed. "It's unfortunate, mana is concentrated at your throat but it doesn't seem to follow the same rules as normal mana."

"What do you mean by that?" Sebastian asked.

"Your mana is concentrated at the throat, but it isn't affected by the rest of your mana circulation." She explained. "It means that your ability is taking all the mana it can from your mana circulation to strengthen itself. If you could sense the mana in your body, you might be able to train it and give more mana to the throat, strengthening your ability, but you simply don't have enough mana elsewhere to train with."

"That's a shame." Sebastian shrugged.

'It seems I won't be able to put off my point spending any longer.' Sebastian thought to himself, immediately sending Widowmaker a message using the Girl's Dimensional Chat.
