Samantha stepped out of the hospital, fuming as she walked towards the apartment located just next to the hospital building in the hotel premises.

The apartments were given to some doctors so in case they are needed urgently in the hospital, they can head back.

As she walked into the apartment building, her phone beeped and she saw a message from Ethan. "Tell them to let me in. Geez, this hospital's security is so tight."

Samantha chuckled as she turned to the receptionist and asked him to help her permit to get into the premises.

Samantha returned to her apartment and just like other typical apartments, it was beautiful and conducive. Samantha turned on the TV before going into the bathroom gently to freshen up and relax from the day's stress.

As Samantha stepped out of the bathroom, the doorbell rang and she knew whom it was immediately. She walked over to the door, still in her robe as she pulled the door open and Ethan was standing there, with two bags and gritting his teeth.

"I'm not visiting you again." He complained before stepping in and Samantha couldn't help but laugh at his childishness.

"I thought you said we were having pizza." Samantha asked as she looked over his shoulders, standing on her toes.

"I thought about us having pizza but I stopped thinking when I got to the gates and they delayed me for ten minutes. Can you imagine." He grumbled as he set the bags on the kitchen counter.

"I'm new here and so are you. I'm sure they won't do that next time but I really wanted pizza." Samantha whimpered as she walked out of the kitchen.

"I'll be making us dinner tonight." He called after her and she hummed loud enough for him to hear. "Stop acting like a big baby and get dressed already."

Ethan set all the materials he would be using to make dinner while Samantha changed. Samantha stepped out of the room looking at her curly hair in the mirror.

"I thought you managed to straighten it out." Ethan said as he looked back at her from behind the counter as she stood at the entrance of her room, still examining her hair.

"I can't seem to make it stay straight for long. Sheesh." She groaned as she lifted her curly hair up and down to examine it.

"You still look beautiful with curly hair." Ethan said as he turned back to the food he was making and Samantha dropped the mirror with her before walking over to him to peek into what was in the pot.

"That's rude." He said as he tapped her forehead and she pouted before walking back into the lounge and plopping down to the sofa as she faced the TV.

"You know Ethan, that patient of mine looks familiar. I feel like I've seen him somewhere before." Samantha bit on the remote with her as she tried to search her memory for where she had seen Skylar before.

"Probably just in your head." Ethan called back and she shot him a deadly glare.

"Are you trying to say I'm crazy?"

"I said nothing, you said it yourself."

"Oh you rascal." Samantha stood up from her seat to launch at Ethan when a red light started blinking in her room and she recognized that sound to be when Skylar was going crazy again.

"What's that?" Ethan asked as he looked around panicked.

"Duty calls." Samantha replied before standing up and not even bothering to change her bum short into something more decent, she grabbed her lab coat and rushed out. "Save my food."

"I swear if this is irrelevant, I'll stab him myself." Samantha mumbled as she rushed down the curb into the hospital.

As Samantha rushed into the hospital, she already saw his men rushing in her direction so she picked up her pace and rushed up to his floor.

Samantha pushed the door to his room open and he was busy screaming and thrashing the room. He had broken free from his chain and already turned the room upside down.

His gaze fell on her and she felt shivers as his gaze held hatred and nothing less. "You killed my mother. You killed them." He screamed in agony.

"No I didn't. You have to calm down Sir Skylar." Samantha tried to calm him down but he kept on screaming and turning tables.

"Your behavior won't bring them back to life. You have to calm down, breathe and just talk to me about it. Talk it out."

Skylar looked at her, holding on to the piece of glass in his hands tightly and blood started dripping from it. His gaze alone looked as if he was staring deep into her soul.

Skylar slowly let go of the glass in his hands and approached her. Samantha stood strong on the same spot and Skylar lifted his bloody hands and touched her hair.

"It's you." He whispered. "You came back to me. You came back for me like you promised."

Samantha slowly lured him out to the garden where cool breeze soothed him as he took deep breaths.

"Why did you leave me in the first place?"
