The sanctum

After scanning his surroundings and checking to see if there is any more zombies in the area Percy slowly makes his way towards the stone structure. Walking through the door frame of the sanctum Percy gets this sick feeling in his stomach as he lays his eyes upon a giant creature. (is that a.... a dragon?) Percy thinks as he begins to hold his breath. Upon closer inspection he exhales after noticing that the creature is dead. Looking around the dragon Percy notices a man meditating in the corner of the room. "So your the necromancer?" Percy shouts at the man preparing for another battle. "Child you should have left my sanctum. You may have killed my zombies but the power I have gained from absorbing the energy of this dragon has made me stronger than you could ever imagine." Responds the man slowly dashing towards Percy. Parrying the mans initial strike to the side Percy jumps backward to create space while trying to set the tempo of battle in his favor. The man then proceeded to slowly levitate into the air while a few magical looking circles appeared into his hands. The man proceeds to summon a Eldritch whip and sends it towards Percy's weapon sending it flying. "Just who are you?" Percy asks the man shocked from what happened. "My name child is Zeidan, and I am a master of the arcane." Responds Zeidan proudly sending another eldritch whip towards Percy. "Well I need to apologize Zeidan I'm afraid I will have to kill you to keep you from creating more zombies." Percy replies Shattering the whip with his dragon claw. "What form of magics is that" Zeidan asks before sending forth a beam of magical energy. Barely avoiding the beam of energy Percy made a mad dash toward Zeidan surprising both with the sudden increase in speed given to him by the breakthrough he had made in his cultivation. Appearing before Zeidan Percy is able to rip off Zeidans left arm. Turning around Percy realizes he now has 3 claws formed due to the increase in his cultivation. "Boy you have done enough damage begone from here" Zeidan shouts slightly in fear surprised by Percy's combat power. Sending a few desperate bolts of energy towards him, Percy manages get in close slashing his claw across Zeidans chest. knocking him backwards. Summing the last bit of his energy Zeidan summons a portal. "Boy I will kill you if its the last thing I do" before jumping in disappearing.

Finally glad to be done with the fighting Percy sits down channeling his energy into his woulds slowly recuperating from the battles. While the battles where close and he almost died a few times he gained much today. After tending to his wounds Percy makes his way towards the dragon when he starts feeling a tugging sensation in his mind. Curious as to what it was he notice it pulling him toward the dragons head. Making his way in front of it's head a voice in his head speaks out <thank you for fending off that foul man. I would say i would award you something but as you can see that foul man took all that I had. The only thing I can award you with is this ones body. I see that you are a skilled combatant so if you partake of my flesh it will increase the durability and strength of your body. Do not bother trying to ask this one any questions my soul is slowly fading away as we speak. Once again child I thank you for keeping that man from desecrating my body> the voice says as it slowly fades away.

"I know you have passed on but I shall accept your body will help me more than you know" Percy speaks aloud as he bows to the dragon before using his claw to dig out the dragons heart. Thank fully Percy had store multiple bottles of water in his space ring so he was able to collect some of the blood of the dragon. After collecting the heart and storing the body in his space ring he hold the heart up to the light and gives it a quick look over. "If this works like any other cultivation novel I have read this should give me a big boost in power. That or I will explode from the overload of power. Here goes nothing" Percy says aloud has he eats the heart. Feeling a sudden rush of energy Percy sits down and slowly begins to cultivate not realizing how much time has passed.
