0004 - Just a simple interrogation

Raynare's two friends approached the gazebo.

One of them, a fallen angel woman standing at 175 cm, asked Raynare without any hesitation, ignoring the person next to her. From her perspective, Haruka seemed like an ordinary human with no spiritual energy.

"So, Raynare, what do you need help with?" The tall, well-built woman with brown eyes and long navy-blue hair covering her right eye inquired.

She wore a maroon cloak-like top with a wide collar, a matching mini skirt, and black high-heeled shoes. The cloak-like top was open at her chest, revealing her breasts and the cleavage between them. She also wore a gold necklace around her neck, and a white shirt could be seen peeking from below the top.

Raynare wanted to warn them both to escape, but she was still under some strange pressure that kept her still. She also couldn't fathom why her two subordinates weren't sensing anything.

"Hey, we rushed here. Why are you silent?" The girl with blonde hair styled into twin-tails and blue eyes approached with hands on her hips.

She wore a Gothic Lolita outfit, consisting of a black dress with white lace, a large black ribbon in front, and a green gem embedded in the collar. Completing her look were white thigh-high stockings and black shoes. Additionally, she wore a large black ribbon on her hair.

Both felt something odd about Raynare being silent. They then glanced at Haruka, who was enjoying his cup of ramen.

Haruka, sensing their gaze, responded with a cheerful face and a wide smile.

"Who's this monkey?" The tall woman asked with disdain while looking down at Haruka.

"Is this your new toy, Raynare?"

"His face looks promising," Gothic Lolita added, leaning forward to get a closer look at Haruka's face.

Raynare grew more anxious seeing her subordinates behaving as they usually did, unaware of how dangerous this person was.

"Hey, we're in a hurry. Why are you just standing there?" The Gothic Lolita girl asked again.

Haruka, hearing this, smiled happily. He snapped his fingers, and the four of them teleported to his apartment's living room.

The tall girl and Gothic Lolita were surprised by the forced teleportation. They both jumped away from Haruka, spreading their black wings. However, when they tried to create light spears using their techniques, their efforts failed. They began to panic, scanning the room for an exit.

On the other side, Raynare remained silent, observing Haruka. She was sure that Haruka had no intention of killing them. After a while, she sat on the sofa and started eating the cup of ramen in her hands.

Haruka, seeing this, smiled happily. He snapped his fingers again, and two cup ramen from his kitchen floated and opened themselves, as if an invisible person was preparing them. Once ready, the cup noodles landed on the coffee table.

"Please, have a seat and enjoy your ramen," Haruka invited the tall woman and Gothic Lolita, who were still on guard, to sit beside Raynare.

However, their wariness seemed unrelenting. After attempting to use teleportation magic and realizing they couldn't freely control their spiritual energy here, they became aware that they were in a disadvantageous situation.

'Hehehe, they look cute when they are confused like this,' Haruka chuckled inwardly. He then shifted his attention to the exhibitionist in front of him.

"So, can I know who the stalker is that has been following me for a few days?"

Haruka asked casually while continuing to eat his now-cold ramen.

Raynare stopped her chopstick movement and took a deep breath. Feeling confident that she had a good chance to safely get out of this situation, she finally began to speak.

"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Raynare."

She bowed slightly to show respect. Raynare knew that, as long as she could maintain her composure, she had a chance of survival.

"And the two of them?"

"They are my subordinates, Kalawarna and Mittelt."

"We are Fallen Angels from Grigori," they added.

Haruka nodded. "Fallen angels, huh? A fitting connotation for your race. And what kind of group is this Grigori? A clan, cult, academy, family, or sect?"

Raynare began answering Haruka's questions honestly and cautiously, trying not to reveal too many secrets of Grigori.

Meanwhile, Kalawarna and Mittelt, seeing Raynare not resisting, also gave up their futile resistance. They sat beside Raynare, helping her answer all of Haruka's questions.

...

After a session of interrogation by Haruka that mentally exhausted Raynare, Kalawarna, and Mittelt.

"Wow, quite an interesting family drama you've got here. So, you directly fought against your creator, Seisho no Kami, and devils who actually share the same creator line a hundred years ago. And you finally stopped after a long bloodshed."

"I would say you're either foolish or unaware of what happened. You should have realized that your creator should have had a way to defeat you by cutting off your ability to use the energy you call light power."

Raynare and her friends could only listen to Haruka's comments in silence.

"So, this Seisho no Kami holds the largest faith in this world. I'm intrigued; I'd like to meet this benevolent person. Maybe he can help me regain my strength quickly."

"Do you know how to contact heaven directly?"

Raynare bowed. "that is impossible, Kaito-sama."

"Oh, are your relations still bad with the other two factions after such a long time without war?"

"Not like that, Kaito-sama, but... Father is no more after that great war, along with all the original Satans."

Haruka was slightly surprised by this development.

"How could that be? It's nonsensical; I doubt you could defeat him even if you teamed up with the devil factions. If he unleashed all his powers, destroying this Earth would be an easy task."

Haruka said, wiping his mouth from the ramen residue.

"Even if you say that, the reality is as it is."

"The death of Seisho no Kami made the heaven faction lose a lot of momentum since they couldn't get additional angels and lost their main leader, indirectly affecting the heaven system."

"Losing the original Satan made the devil faction lose a lot of power, not to mention the civil war within the underworld."

"As for us, the Grigori, we couldn't increase the number of pure Fallen Angels for the same reason as the heaven faction."

"We managed to survive like this due to the efforts and equipment from our leader, Azazel."

"You're truly messed up. I'd even say that the faction of Seisho no Kami has come to an end."

Haruka flicked his finger, and a glass of soda floated towards him. He then drank it in one gulp.

"Kuh, but well, now I understand why you took the Sacred Gear from my body."

Raynare, hearing this, began to tremble, and sweat flowed down her face.

"Azazel must be trying to arm you with this Sacred Gear. While other factions seem passive, it seems he's taking advantage of this opportunity to strengthen Grigori."

"So..."

Haruka 'lightly' exerted his soul pressure to 'slightly' intimidate the three of them. He looked at them with a smile on his handsome face.

"Can I get my belongings back?"
