Gaia's Blessing

Geoff furiously slashed and four smooth incisions appeared as a stone head— at a size of a wheel— was divided into four pieces that simultaneously dropped to the ground heavily.

"Huff.."

Geof panted heavily as he gazed landed on the two stone golems that have materialized from the ground.

The stone golems were much more larger than the one he previously killed which was approximately 4-meters tall.

"When will this ever end?!" Geof shouted as he furiously rushed toward the two Stone Golems.

Geof couldn't keep track of the time due to the endless wave of Stone Golems, but he estimated that he had spent more than a day after continually eliminating 200 Stone Golems!

It was only because of the Gaia's Land was giving him endless energy that he could keep up with the unending wave of attack.

Worst was, Stone Golem was stronger than the previous. No matter how great Geof's divine instinct was, without any improvement in physique, he would eventually fall.

Since he had arrived in the white expanse, he could no longer use the system in his head.

Thud! Thud!

The Stone Golems' body fell which soon withered to the ground.

"The interval of recovering my spent energy is getting wider," Geof frowned as his fatigue and injuries disappeared.

Previously he could recover energy with every 2nd kill, then every 3rd kill, and so on.

Now after 200 kills, he could only recover in every 8th kill.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Without giving Geof time to rest, another three Stone Golems appeared, they were 4.5 meters tall with much slimmer bodies.

"Tsk," Geof sidestepped and avoided a boulder that was shot at him. "On top of heightened speed and strength, they even learned a new technique."

Geof's face sank as he kited the golems for opening.

After segregating the golems, Geof immediately attacked. With ghost-like movement, he cut half of their neck with his claws.

'Hard!' Geof frowned in discomfort as he slashed the uncut segment.

Their heads fell with their bodies.

'One more golem–' Geof thought when suddenly, a boulder secretly shot at him.

Bang!

Geof was directly hit on the back.

He couldn't avoid the projectile due to over-exertion!

Geof forced his body to get up as he coughed up blood. Painful!

He felt like his insides were stirred.

Nevertheless, the werewolf's body wasn't delicate. It was packed with firm muscles and thick skin. His puppet wasn't that vulnerable!

Geof leaped towards the Stone Golem and made a hysterical stab with his fingers together, forming a lance with his claws.

Thereafter, the Stone Golem's core was destroyed and its vitality instantly receded.

"Huff.. huff"

Geof's hand was trembling as fatigue intruded on his body.

However, it wasn't over yet. Not far away from him arose another three Stone Golems.

Geof continued fighting as he survived one wave after another.

As his injuries and fatigue accumulated, no other thoughts appeared but piercing and swiping his foes with utmost speed.

Time quickly passed and Geof could barely keep his eyes open as he dodged countless attacks from six Stone Golems.

The only thing moving his body was his godly instinct. His mind was almost dead.

Geof grabbed a boulder and hurled it against the relenting attacks. Thereafter, he sneaked up and slew the giants.

Thud!

Geof's body finally fell. His consciousness blurred as he felt nothing but fatigue.

...

....

Geof's blurry vision cleared and saw the usual white expanse.

"I'm dead?" Geof took a moment before he realized, "No- Even if I died I should have been back to my body!"

It was at this moment when a soft melodious chime traveled through his ears.

""You have completed the trials for Gaia's Blessing.""

""You shall be blessed.""

Geof's claws still protruding claws lit up with blue light as though it was reflecting rays of moonlight.

"Thank you!" Geof cuffed his fist towards a space with gratefulness as his body became illusory.

Although no one was there, he knew a powerful entity was guiding the creatures in the forest. And this entity gave him opportunities despite being a foreigner.

After giving his gratitude, the white expanse disappeared and he was back from his position before. However, unlike before, the dense number of creatures was nowhere to be seen.

"So I was the last one to finish," Geof figured as he detected the Tawos in their usual habitat.

Geof was still using [Detection] when a system prompt appeared in his mind.

"Legendary grade!" Geof exclaimed as he protruded his claws.

Sure enough, his claws have undergone a noticeable change. Although it didn't grow longer, it had become much slimmer as its color changed from grey to black with a tinge of blue light.

"Sharpness increased to 500% and added by [Sharp Claws]'s 30% My claws' overall sharpness has multiplied by 6.3!" Geof said as he casually swipe his claws on the 3-meter thick tree.

Pfftt!

There was a muffled sound, and Geof felt like he wave his hands in the air as he felt no resistance from the tree.

Smooth cuts then slowly appeared as the 3-meter thick trunk slipped down diagonally.

The thick tree then rustled its leaves while it collapsed to the ground.

Boom!

Geof's face was calm but his heart was shaking.

'No resistance! Just like a hot knife cutting butter!' Geof felt as if he could do as he pleased.

Geof swipe again and a boulder was cut into pieces. He swung and stabbed until everything in his surroundings was torn down, including the ground, that was riddled with trenched.

ROAR!

Loud angry roars snapped back Geof into reality. His face went incredibly pale once he saw the devastated land around him.

"Oh no!" Geof turned to the previous position of the white ball and bowed heavily, he then ran as fast as he could from the region.

The place was like a holy temple in the forest.

The reason why the red monkeys never followed him was that a strict rule was established by all the Tawos.

"No battle was allowed within the area where the ball of light appears to prevent any damage to the place."

Geof demolishing the place means insulting their God and potentially cutting off their source of strength.

In other words, Geof had basically started a war with the Tawos in the forest!
