Friend time

?: "Ash, we are going to be late for your ability testing. Hurry up, I'll be in the car." *beep*

Ash: "Okay." *as he puts on a light gray t-shirt with a navy blue hoodie and white shorts, then realizes he forgot his deodorant and runs over to his PC and puts it on as he runs past his room, then realizes he forgot his lucky cat bell and puts it on before rushing to the car.* "Sorry, Mom, I had to finish getting ready and almost forgot this." *as he rubs his lucky bell.*

Mom: "When are you going to get rid of that thing? You've had it since you were five; you're eighteen now, in your senior year of high school, and about to find out what your class is."

Ash: "I know, but like I told you every time, it's my lucky bell and it compliments my outfit. I need it for what is about to happen today."

Mom: "Oh, yeah, the test portal to see what schools will allow you to attend. I always hated that because I know some people with not good classes they say, but they don't look at the at all, but they were the best. And then when they got out, no schools wanted them because of their classes. But later on, they realized what they did but can't do anything about it..."

Ash: "I hear that all the time; you don't have to repeat that again. Besides, the class I want is a class they deemed useless, but I found out through research it's quite useful. Because if no one was in that class, then everyone will have a horrible time."

Mom: "Okay, I know; me and your dad will at least support you and love you."

Ash: "Okay, Mom, I love you too, Mom." *as he takes his phone out and gets on Discord to tell his friends he is coming to school, as normally he is home because of something that happened at school.*

Ashthecat: "I'm going to school."

Regaat_Atlas: "Nice. I'm guessing same spot to meet up?"

Ash: "Yep, though I will be taking a different route so I don't bump into that group again."

Regaat_Atlas: "Okay, see you soon."

Ash: "K."

30-minute drive because I got lucky with not getting traffic.

Ash: "Bye, Mom."

Mom: "Bye."

Ash: "Okay, I can do this." *as he starts to run around the school to the spot and sees his only friend, who is a 4ft demi-mouse with a pink hoodie and white skirt.* "Ugh, I made it, Diwa."

Diwa: "You made it!" *as she goes and jumps and hugs him.*

Ash: "Can you get off of me? It's annoying."

Diwa: "Never. You are mine and no one else's."

Ash: "Fine." *Ugh, this is the other thing why I didn't want to go back to school and just stay home and do my work, which the school allowed for some odd reason.* "So, what happened to the school? I saw there was a new building here."

Diwa: "Oh, it's the extra portal test room for all the classes testing and all that."

Ash: "Nice. Though I wonder what it will be for us, as the testing world changes every year so people don't cheat, though the rich do buy the knowledge in ways." *as he looks down at her.*

Diwa: *Looks up* "It's a Dwarven style world with caves, ore, and monsters."

Ash: "Hmm, if I make something with the ore and bring it out, can I keep it?"

Diwa: "Yeah, that's what the principal said over the intercom yesterday." *as she finishes talking, the bell rings.* "Let's race!"

Ash: "Okay. 3..."

Diwa: "2..."

Ash: "1..."

Ash and Diwa: "Go!"
