Earth Rumble + New Lackey

In the blink of an eye, seven days had passed by and Genji had finally stopped thinking about Suki and her being pregnant.

Two whole days.

Genji had spent two whole days without sleeping after finding out how he might have a child.

After finally relaxing, he could train his skills properly without the need of getting distracted.

After having passed by a small city that was celebrating 'Avatar's Day', Genji and the rest were already on their way to Gaoling.

Quietly, Genji trained in his firebending skill by forming a ring of fire behind his back and various other rings that were small and circling in and out of the larger ring of fire. Each small ring of fire rated at a different speed and direction, increasing the difficulty of this training.

Because of this training Genji was doing, his skills in manipulating his strength and energy were becoming more refined.

It helped him waste less energy for the same amount of strength when performing a skill. The same went for his strength, he was able to pull out much more strength and use it more efficiently than before.

If previously he was using 50% of his strength, Genji was now using over 75% of his entire strength. This is all including the fact that he doesn't waste as much energy and stamina as before.

"We've arrived at our next stop, Gaoling!"

Aang's voice suddenly entered Genji's ears and the rings of fire disappeared from his back. He looked over the side of Appa Express and looked down at the city of Gaoling.

'We've arrived for you, brat,' thought Genji as he wondered where Toph could be located right now.

Aang brought down Appa to the ground before hiding him and heading to the city with both Katara and Genji.

Bringing along his metal staff, Genji followed behind Katara and Aang as he curiously looked at various things within the city.

Food stalls, weapon stores, inns, and various places of entertainment.

"Look Aang, it's an Earthbending school! Let's go sign you up and see if you can find a teacher there," said Katara as she pointed to a nearby place with various children training their bending within it.

"Yeah!"

"You guys can go ahead and do that, I will go and walk around a bit," said Genji before walking away and seeing them enter the Earthbending school.

With a look of interest, Genji walked around the city, enjoying the various foods as he visited each food stall.

Eventually, Genji heard something interesting as he enjoyed his little free time as he ate a couple of BBQ chicken sticks.

"There's going to be a five versus one match today!"

"5 v 1? Against who?"

"Who else but the amazing Blind Bandit!"

Genji raised his eyebrows as he continued to listen to the pair of men talking behind his back as he began to think to himself.

'Wow, Toph is really famous…'

Continuing to eat his BBQ chicken stick, Genji continued to listen in interest to what they were saying.

"She fought against three master Earthbenders last week and she didn't suffer a single hit!"

"I remember it so vividly as well. She managed to return the heavy and powerful rocks back at the people who threw them at her!"

"Truly amazing!"

"Just like her muscles, I'm pretty hard for her…"

"Haha! Her strength is just that amazing."

Suddenly, Genji frowned after hearing the two guys behind him talking about Toph. He furrowed his eyebrows and his grip on the spear tightened as he stood up slowly and walked over to the two men.

"Hey. Why are you talking about the Blind Bandit like that? You're disrespecting her and if she finds out about this, she'd be disgusted and creeped out by you bastards," said Genji as he defended Toph, still believing her to be a small and young girl.

"What the hell…"

One of the two men frowned and turned to glare at Genji whilst the other man put on a nervous smile on his face.

"Who the hell are you? Mind your damn business, asshole. What she thinks about me and what I say about her is between her and me, got it punk?"

The angry man stood up and banged his fist on the table, shaking the drinks in the table.

The nervous man fidgeted on his seat, not knowing what to do as his friend began to create a scene.

"I've decided to make it my business as well when you began to spew vulgarities out in the open and towards someone I admire," said Genji as not a single lie left his mouth.

The instant Toph had created her own bending and discovered the Seismic Sense by herself despite being a young person, she has earned Genji's admiration and respect.

Such a young person has revolutionized the entire Earthbending ability and introduced metalbending.

If something like that doesn't gain some type of respect or admiration, then Genji didn't know what type of thing should be with it.

"Damn nosy…"

Grumbling, the man felt like a vein was about to burst from his forehead as he glared at Genji who stood there calmly.

"Get lost, I don't want to deal with you right now," said the man as he waved his hand, trying to drive Genji away like he was some kind of animal.

Genji frowned, not liking the attitude of the man before him, not in the slightest.

"I will not leave, not at least until you apologize about what you said about the Blind Bandit," said Genji, narrowing his eyes and the angry man.

The nervous man leaned forward and whispered towards the angry man with a bit of trepidation, afraid of what's to come next.

"Hey! Just apologize so he can leave us alone!"

"No way! I did nothing and this asswipe suddenly approached us."

"Come on, I don't want to attract any attention."

"Fuck, if you don't want any attention, then leave!"

"… Mgh… fine! See if I care when you get beat to the ground!"

With a dissatisfied face, the nervous man left, leaving behind the angry man.

"Coward…" mumbled the angry man as he looked at his friend flee.

Genji snickered, "The only coward here is you. Afraid to even apologize."

"What the hell?! Did you just call me a coward?! Fuck of you, you damn son of a bitch!"

Raising his arm, the angry man swung his fist at Genji.

Pa!

"Don't raise your hand at me," warned Genji as he slapped the angry man's fist away with the metal staff.

"Fuck you!"

Without thinking at all, the angry man launched another attack on Genji and just like the first time, Genji easily dealt with the fist.

However, this time Genji didn't stop there.

Striking a couple more times with the staff, Genji made the man immobile, making him fall to the ground with a thump.

"Argh! What did you do to me?!"

"…"

Genji smiled and walked away after immobilizing the man.

"I hope you learn to be more respectful in the future," said Genji as he waved his hand and disappeared into the crowd.

The angry man revealed a look of panic as Genji walked away and began to slowly disappear into a crowd of people.

"Wa-wait! Please! Don't leave me here!"

The man tried to move around, but nothing worked. It only served to make him more panicked before he eventually gave up.

"Ugh… I'm sorry… I…I apologize for what I said…"

Closing his eyes in a remorseful manner, the man wished he hadn't offended Genji earlier.

Just as he believed that it was the end of him, the man heard a voice next to him.

"I'll accept your apology," said Genji as he appeared next to the man.

"… thank you…" expressed the man in gratitude, no longer caring that it was Genji that made him like this.

"Hm, good. Now, stand up," instructed Genji as he tapped the chest of the man with the metal staff, causing the man to regain control of his muscles.

.The man struggled a bit, but eventually managed to get on his feet with a look of shame on his face.

"Now that you're on your feet, let's head to the Earth Rumble," said Genji as he made the man walk in front of him.

"Y-yes…" muttered the man with a bit of fear towards Genji's attacks.

As they headed to the Rumble Earth, Genji made sure to buy some snacks and continue eating them.

Why? He still had some residual nervousness towards the fact that he was going to become a father.

Going ahead and buying a lot before putting it away in his storage, out of sight from everyone, Genji continued to follow behind the man.

Heading into an underground arena that had very few people within it.

Genji looked around and found that it wasn't because there were no fights, but because the fights were too boring during the day time. The good fighters didn't come out until more at night when most people get off work and increase the amount of money earned.

Nodding a little, Genji turned to the man and asked, "How do I get in to fight?"

"Get in?"

The man's eyes lit up as he heard Genji's words. All he wanted right now was to get as far away from Genji as possible. He didn't wish to feel helpless once more and lose control of all his muscles once more.

"Yes! I know how. R-right this way!"

With great enthusiasm, the man basically ran forward, leading Genji straight to the sign up paper.

Genji smirked at the man's actions and narrowed his eyes as he whispered to the man in a way only he heard.

"Just because you're so enthusiastic, I will let you become my lackey," said Genji as he patted the man's shoulder.

"Hii~"

The man jumped in fright and wished to shake his head but nodded instead due to the fear he was feeling.

'Oh no! I've doomed myself!'

"Th-thank you…" muttered the man as he resigned himself to his fate.

His head hung low as Genji walked past by him and signed up for the fighting.

Genji then handed the paper over to the attendant, who took it without a word.

After the attendant took the paper, Genji turned to his new lackey before handing him a bit of money.

"Go buy me a mask, a large hooded cloak, and a wooden staff," ordered Genji before slightly threatening the man. "Don't come back and I will hunt you down."

The man shook and nodded before disappearing and eventually returning with a simple wooden mask that only had holes for the eyes in the form of a scowl.

Genji gave the man a look before shaking his head with a smile and wearing the mask, the black cloak, and throwing his metal staff within his storage before using the wooden staff.

He planned on earthbending a bit in the arena and didn't want Aang or Katara to recognize him when he's in there fighting.

Once Genji was wearing the cloak and mask, he waited patiently, sitting down as he watched the fights pass by one after the other.

The man stood to Genji's side, too afraid to sit down, especially next to Genji who could attack him at any moment.

In the arena, one person would appear and beat their opponent up badly enough to make them cry, and then someone else would take their place. This went on back and forth several times before finally eventually getting to the fight before Genji's turn.

The rules of the fighting were simple.

Beat your opponent and you're allowed to stay in the arena until you are beaten.

The two people before Genji were still fighting against each other, but Genji neared the arena nonetheless to prepare to enter at any moment.

They seemed to be evenly matched, but Genji could tell which one was stronger based on just watching them fight. In particular, the second man kept looking down slightly while the first man held his gaze firmly.

Genji could tell that the man who looked down slightly had a plan that he was ready to use, but that was all. He could see the man shake and nervously step forward, not knowing how to act out his plan.

Using this moment of nervousness of his opponent, the man with the firm gaze stepped forward with a strong stomp on the ground, launching a heavy rock in the air before punching it fiercely and sending it hurling to his opponent.

Bang!

"Out! Rock-Star wins!"
