Starting Off

That night, I couldn't sleep. Everything in my mind was a whirr. Everything had happened so fast. Everything made no sense at all. Everything was just CONFUSING. I just arrived at this weird place and all this happens, it's like time is fast forwarding, I couldn't make sense of anything anymore...

Calm down, I told myself. Let's sort this out. So first, I came to this 'camp', then I wake up with a 'talking skeleton' by my door, I somehow end up going on a 'quest' and now I'm lying on the bed thinking of...well, the last part isn't necessary. At least that's clear, but the 'camp', 'talking skeleton', and 'quest' part wasn't logical. I mean, all these happen in stories right? How am I supposed to feel when I face these in real life? I thought of a series I had read in the school library. It was called what? Percy Jackson. It took a record about this boy named Perceus Jackson and how he came to a camp and went on quests blah blah blah, but that only happens in books. It's like IMPOSSIBLE for it to happen in real life. That'll be weird.

I stopped thinking. I decided that was enough thinking for one day. I guess I should rest.

We all woke up at dawn. Well, I took some time to wake up because I'm a deep sleeper. Like who would wake up before the sun has even set? That's like 4 in the morning.

"STOP DILLYDALLYING!!" Sage screamed as I staggered through my cabin door, half awake.

Alice was running around 'collecting stuff' she had said, but I was pretty sure that she was just making a excuse to try to sit down when she found the chance, which was basically impossible since Sage was acting like a eagle.

Chiron ran (trotted) out of the big house with a bunch of supplies, he gave them to Sage and came to me.

"Good luck, I'll take you out of the camp borders and I'll leave the rest to you guys. Please come back in one piece, I'll be horiffied if something goes wrong on your first mission."

Sage laughed: "Don't worry, we're not that enreliable. Well, I've double checked all our supplies, we can set off." She smiled in our direction and put her backpack on.

Chiron walked with us until the camp border - like he said he would, and waved us goodbye. To tell the truth, I was kind of excited for this, even though Sage told me that some quests may go horribly wrong, and we might face monsters. Scarier ones than we had faced before. I didn't car though. What could go wrong? We were just little children (well we're not THAT little) walking in the streets. Honestly, all that worry of Sage's was probably for nothing.

What I did not know was - I was HORRIBLY WRONG...

...and that marks the start of a bunch of incidents.
