To the best of my knowledge, she has never laughed or looked at me like that before. I've never had somebody laugh at me to my face, but I know they've made fun of me behind my back. I thought she was gorgeous at first sight, but as she smiled, I realized she was really breathtaking. She is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most stunning lady I've ever laid eyes on. It irritates me much that she is revealing to that person something about herself that she has always kept hidden from me. It's not like he deserves any kind of punishment anyhow. The rule is never followed. Then, not even I can.

"Colton?"

In an effort to recall fond memories of my grandma, I close my eyes for a few moments. "Hmm? So, Grams, what are you saying?

When she smiles at me, her eyes become bright and sparkling.

When I told Elise that Derrick looked good dancing with her, she said, "Don't you think?" It's possible that I'm intended to help with more than just the wedding you're organizing. She hasn't had the chance to go on any dates since you keep her so busy at work, and she's not getting any younger. It would benefit her much if she could find someone who would love and adore her as much as she does.

"What?" My eyes opened at the notion, and my head snapped around to look at Elise. An authoritative I answer, "No," as a definitive response. Clearly: I've never talked to my grandma that severely before, so I knew she'd be surprised by my tone. When I speak to her in a severe tone, all she does is grin.

Why not? she enquires as we swing together on the dance floor. It's a win-win situation since he's good-looking, wealthy, and works in their field. According to me, he would protect her and provide for her needs while also enriching her experience of life. Colton, you can't expect her to continue working for you indefinitely. Have you seen how carefully he observes her?

Elise's casual demeanor and playful glint in her eyes have me transfixed. I've never experienced such overwhelming anger, and I bite my lip to keep it in check. This level of anger is new for me.

A jovial Grandma exclaims, "They'd produce such wonderful babies together." Tell me if you've given this any thought.

Derrick pushes her flat against him, pulling her in close till his fingers are almost brushing her buttocks. In my opinion, she should be avoiding him, but instead, she is grinning at him.

Once in a while, my mind wanders to the two of them. My thoughts keep returning to them. She stands on the tips of her toes as he presses his lips to hers, her eyes wide with need, and he runs his hands all over her, stroking her sensual contours. I can hardly keep thinking about how crazy I'm becoming since the mental pain just keeps getting worse.

Gritting my teeth, I force myself away from my grandma so that I may escape her watching gaze. I want to scream "Excuse me, Grandma" every time I have to speak to her because she makes me so angry. Something clicked in my head, and I thought, "I really should speak to Elise about this."

That's the outcome we can expect, Colton. As I walk away, she gives me a grin that says she knows I lied but is choosing to ignore it.

The moment Elise's eyes land on me, that lovely grin disappears. How come she can maintain a straight face while we're together but lose it whenever she's in the company of jerks like Derrick?

I grit my teeth and grab her, around her waist with my free hand to yank her away from Derrick and into my arms. I was able to get through by gritting my teeth.

Our bodies collide with such force that she screams as her eyes roll back and her body is pressed against mine. She asks in a low voice, "Colton?," her lovely hazel eyes displaying a trace of uncertainty.

I mean, really, Williams, what are you up to here? Derrick asks, a hint of irritation in his voice. When he observes her, I can see the hollowness in his eyes, and it makes me want to hug him even more tightly.

I mutter an apology between clenched teeth, but no one buys it. I have her, he said.

Elise glances at Derrick with curious eyes. She responds, "He means that I work for him," and I tuck her hair behind her ear while giving her a sly grin.

I compel her to dance with me by saying, "He understood what I meant," when she rejects me. She encircles my neck with her arms, much like she did with Derrick. It's too close for comfort, to put it bluntly. Standing here, he would have felt the full force of her body squeezing down on him. Her gentle curves pressing on my chest are almost too much to bear. I don't have to put much thought into the pig's psyche when he was dancing with the woman; I already know what he was thinking. The need for her consumes all other feelings.
