The moment he says this, my eyes widen a little in surprise. How does he know this?

{What makes you so sure?}

At the back, Invincible keeps looking at us weirdly so I link his mind up with the telepathic connection.

{When I went back to the Coalition Of Planets homeworld and told them that I went to Earth rather Urath, they flipped out and told me that Earth is off limits and that it's been flagged for Viltrumite takeover.}

He explains seriously.

I frown as Invincible's eyes widen in shock and I can sense his mood change.

{How can I h——Oh...you're talking about my dad huh?}

Invincible says sadly and looks away pitifully and this time it's Allen's turn to be gobsmacked.

{Wait a minute! Did you just say your dad!? You are the son of the Viltrumite!? Aww man, this is getting too much, I'm going to need answers Prime.}

He looks at the sighting Invincible, asks wildly with a bewildered face, and then turns to me and ends.

{Sigh, we need to sit down for this.}

I shake my head and conjure up a portal beside us.

Ignoring his surprise, I gesture to the portal and walk through. I instantly appear on the moon.

Invincible and Allen walk out after a few seconds as I take a seat on one of the smooth rocks and gesture to them to do the same on the rocks in front of me with my fingers.

{For starters Invincible, this is Allen. An evaluation officer of the Coalition Of Planets. Allen, this is Invincible. A superhero of Earth and also the hybrid son of the Viltrumite you're talking about.}

I introduce both of them to each other as they sit. They turn to look at each other and Invincible nods at him with a wry smile on his face while he does the same after studying him for a few seconds.

{So the Viltrumite gave birth on the planet he's supposed to conquer huh? Now, this is shocking. Never in my life have I heard of this happening before. He sounds different.}

Allen looks at Invincible and comments.

{...He didn't sound different when he attacked me and nearly beat me to death.}

Invincible mutters quietly, anger flashing across his eyes.

{Oh...I'm sorry, didn't mean to bring up bad memories. I can't imagine what you're going through.}

Allen remarks in a comforting tone with a smile on his face that makes him smile also.

{No worries, it's all in the past now. Thanks though.}

Invincible nods, still smiling.

{Now that you guys are at least familiar with each other, let me continue.}

I comment dryly, bringing their attention back to me. Then, I proceed to summarize Invincible and Omni-man's life and relationship, how he one day suddenly killed the strongest heroes or in this case Earth's mightiest champions, and end at Invincible and Omni-man's fight.

{This is very interesting...hell, I'm surprised. He's the first Viltrumite I've heard that assimilated and bonded and also took this much time to do his job. Most of them just straight out invade with no warning, inform their civilization of their immediate conquer, and if they resist, proceed to decimate the population until no one can resist.}

Allen comments nonchalantly, holding up his chin as he bends his body forwards and puts his elbows on his thighs.

Beside him, Invincible looks shocked and horrified at Allen's casual comment.

{But wait, you left something out. Where's the Viltrumite now?}

He suddenly straightens up his body and asks—a little panicky—as he turns to look back at the distant planet.

{Oh that, Prime beat my dad and drove him away.}

Invincible answers in my stead with a smile on his face, looking at me with respect.

{Wait what!? You beat a Viltrumite in single combat!? That's unbelievable!}

Allen exclaims, his mouth agape with disbelief on his face as if he just heard the most delirious statement ever.

{Sadly it is. Omni-man was a good person and even now I'm still in shock, I never imagined that would happen.}

I sigh in the most sorrowful way my acting skills can offer, making Invincible sigh also but he shakes his head and gets rid of his sadness.

Still, in disbelief, Allen looks at Invincible and me and after staring at our expressions for a while, he also sighs...only his isn't that of sadness or sorrow.

{I knew you are strong but I never imagined to this extent. This is an incredible achievement, an impossible one at that. You are among the few beings in this universe who have managed to beat or even chase a Viltrumite away. If you were in the Coalition, you'd be a celebrated hero with all the fame, glory, riches, and even women.}

He remarks willfully with funny hand gestures explaining his words, making Invincible chuckle while I smile.

{Sigh, this is partly my fault. If only I checked the records, I could've warned you guys earlier and prevented all those deaths from happening. My people—the Unopans—have also experienced the unstoppable might of the Viltrumites and it's because of this that we are so few in number that we now use breeding camps and colonies to ensure our survival. I've never even met my father.}

He adds in a sorrowful tone as he looks away slightly.

{Speaking of the Coalition, they'll definitely want to hear about you two. We are currently at odds with the Viltrumite Empire and we are trying to stop their expansion throughout the Galaxy. More worlds are joining us for the effort but they are not worth mentioning as compared to you two. You guys might be the advantage they're looking for.}

He looks back at us and continues firmly, the trace of sadness in his eye gone.

{Of course, let us know if we can help in any way. I'm not ready to let this planet fall into the hands of the Viltrumite Empire and I'm sure Invincible will agree.}

I say and turn to Invincible who nods at the mention of his name.

{Will do that, I'll let you guys know as soon as I hear something from the Coalition. In the meantime, Invincible what will do now that your father is gone?}

He assures us with a nod and turns to ask Invincible.

Invincible looks down and stays quiet for a while but he looks up into Allen's eye and says.

{...Finish high school, I guess.}

Allen nods repeatedly, making me smile since I know he doesn't understand what Invincible just said.

{...Cool, cool,...what is high school again?}

"..."

Speechless, Invincible stares at him for a while and then shakes his head with a smile on his face.

{It——Nevermind.}

{...Okay, I guess I'll be going then. It was nice meeting you Invincible, I'm glad you are on our side in this fight, and Prime, it was nice to see you again. I'll see you guys later.}

Allen says as he stands up and waves us goodbye with a smile while he ascends. Seeing us nod as we also stand up, he nods and zooms away into the distance.

{Should we head back or....}

{I'll stay behind. I want to enjoy the view a little.}

{Oh okay, I guess I'll see you later then. Thanks again for checking up on me when I was in the coma, it means a lot.}

He smiles as his feet leave the ground.

{No worries, go and enjoy your teenage life. I heard from a certain birdie that you have a girlfriend now, don't keep her waiting.}

I wave my hand dismissively with a cool smile, making him rub the back of his head, a little embarrassed, and then flies away after waving me goodbye.

Watching his disappearing figure, my smile disappears and I sink into my thoughts.

Hmm, now that the Coalition is going to be aware of us, I'll have to up my game a little.

Just because I have my sights on the Viltrumite Empire doesn't mean that I'll leave the Coalition behind.

...I plan on taking everything. In my eyes, there's no good and evil, only benefits and resources...things I can use to further my goals in life.

Hmm, I guess I'll pay them a visit. The time I took a [Tech Jacket] is long overdue...
