"Lads, we are almost there. Just through those tunnels is the key to getting your family back, let's not fuck it up shall we."

Butcher said with a smirk on the rapidly speeding yacht that is traversing the seas towards the shore in front of them.

Mother's Milk and Frenchie nodded and came to stand by his side as they watched the shore coming closer and closer.

Kimiko stood at the back with a sad but resolved look on her face with a cuffed Kenji standing by her side with a calm but cold look that softened when he glanced at Kimiko's face.

He is a six feet tall Japanese guy with an athletic build wearing casual clothing with a cap. He has a serious but calm aura around him that made him stand out when he's in the crowd despite his average facial appearance.

A few minutes later, the yacht arrived at the edge of the shore. The group got down first and then helped Kenji to also get down since he couldn't do it on his own.

"Mallory said her team are waiting for us after we pass through this tunnel, we need to hurry before something happens."

Butcher said as he pointed to the huge tunnel ahead of them and walked towards it, the rest soon followed after him and right before Butcher was about to enter it he abruptly stopped with a frown on his face.

"Stop... something's not rig--"

Suddenly, numerous armed people wearing vests with a sun pattern on it poured out of the tunnels with their guns aimed at them.

"Fuck, why doesn't anything go as planned."

Frenchie sighed in a bitter tone as the people surrounded them with fierce looks on their faces.

With a smile on his face Kenji left the group and walked towards the armed men.

The terrorists saluted him with respect and hurriedly removed his bindings, freeing him as result.

Now free, he looked towards the shocked but calm group with a smirk and smiled when he looked at Kimiko who got into a fighting stance with a pleading look on her face, ignoring the guns pointed towards her head.

"Sis, don't resist. You might be able to kill all of us here but your friends won't survive. Please...let me handle this, I promise nothing will happen to you and your friends."

Kenji said in Japanese with a reassuring smile.

Hearing this, Kimiko stared at him for a while and relaxed her posture after shaking her head.

When the terrorists saw this, they immediately started pushing Butcher, Frenchie and Mother's Milk towards the tunnel but didn't do the same to Kimiko out of respect and fear and just stood by her side as they walked into the tunnels.

"It's good to have you back Kenji."

A young Japanese woman wearing a vest with a sun pattern with jeans and shoes said with a smile when Kenji entered the tunnel.

"Yeah man, it's good our trackers were put in our bodies otherwise who knows where you were going to end up in."

A tall sturdy Japanese guy standing by the girl's side said with a playful smile.

Kenji smiled warmly when he saw them and started talking with them as they passed through a different section of the tunnel huge passageways, heading towards another location.

These two are part of the supes in the Shining Light Liberation Army, the girl is codenamed 'MindStorm' while the guy is 'Quake'.

"How is she?"

Mindstorm asked as they led the retinue of terrorists who are surrounding the team through the dark dismal tunnel passageways.

"She's fine.. I think. It's just that she's.. changed, she doesn't support our cause anymore. I'm worried about her."

Kenji explained in a distraught tone.

"I see, that is indeed concerning. Don't worry, when we all go back home we can sort her out."

Quake said confidently, his tone made them nod in agreement with Kenji smiling wryly since he knew how the organization will handle her.

The conversation ended, drenching the place in silence as they led the team. Everyone, including Butcher and his team have a lot on their minds so no one spoke but being the people they are, they gave each other silent signals with their eyes as they plotted their escape.

<Whoom!>

The group stopped when they heard this and immediately became alert.

"Fuck, they're here."

Frenchie said with a frown as he looked behind nervously and took out a gun from his trousers, surprising the terrorists who are around them.

Butcher and Mother's Milk looked at each other and nodded as they also took out their guns hidden in their clothes with Kimiko's face becoming serious as she clenched her fists.

<Pat! Pat! Pat!>

Sounds of someone walking towards them reverberated across the tunnel, making everyone alert and combat ready as they turned to face the source of sound.

Their faces became grim when they saw who it is.

"Well well well, look what we here. A bunch of terrorists and... oh is that you William? Wow, what are the odds. Never thought I will meet you here. Today's not your lucky day William, the deal I made with Becca is off."

Homelander said with a smirk, his hands at his back as he leisurely walked towards them.

"Well, i could say the same for you. A lil birdie told me of how Deva trashed your sorry ass like fucking garbage mate, now that's something ain't that right?"

Butcher asked with a mocking smile that made Homelander's smile vanish and this increased the fear the terrorists felt with some of them even shaking.

"I was in a good mood Butcher but you've ruined it. I would've given you a painless death but it seems you don't deserve my mercy, now you die."

Homelander said with a crazed smile and the next moment beams of heat emitted from his eyes and bisected ten of the terrorists in front of him, drenching the whole place in guts and blood.

"Shit run!"

Mother's Milk said and dashed away with the team together with Kenji and his squad as the terrorists stayed behind and started shooting the smiling Homelander who just calmly walked towards them with the bullets ricocheting off his body.

"We need to do something Butcher, this is getting insane."

Mother's Milk said as they followed Kenji and his friends through the passages.

"..... Hey Fuck twarts! Can't you do something about this, you also have powers for fuck's sake. Use them."

Butcher said to Kenji, Quake and Mindstorm as they suddenly stopped in a particular passageway in an annoyed tone with Kimiko standing beside him silently staring at them.

"We ca---"

"Time's up Guys, you guys should've thought about it wisely before coming to America."

Homelander interrupted Kenji and stood a few meters away from them with a stoic face, his body speckles without anything to show that he brutally dismembered people just a few moments ago.

"Fuck do something now!"

Butcher shouted.

Kenji grit his teeth and stretched both of his hands at Homelander who is watching him with curious eyes and made a downward pulling gesture with all his strength.

<Bang! Bang...>

The next moment, the ceiling cracked and fell on Homelander together with a bus and numerous cars, destroying the ground with large pit created as a result with dust and sand all over the place.

"Did that get him?"

Frenchie asked nervously as they all watched Homelander's location.

<Bang!>

"...Wow that was something but sadly it wasn't good enough."

The dust cleared, revealing an uninjured Homelander who is floating with a smile on his face with not a speck of dust on his suit or body.

"Kenj, Quake leave right now! I will buy you guys some time."

Mindstorm said with a serious tone as she came to stand in front of the group facing Homelander.

"You? Oh please you coul---"

Homelander's mocking immediately seized as his eyes suddenly became white, his body unresponsive and frozen in place.

"I can't hold him off much longer, leave now and don't look back!"

Mindstorm who is clutching one side of her head shouted.

They immediately turned and run away with tears forming in the eyes of Quake and Kenji as they run, leaving behind the shivering and sweating Mindstorm who is using all of her might to buy them time.

Five minutes later, she fell onto the ground breathing heavily as her powers faded away.

"Any last words?"

Homelander asked as he came back to his senses and grabbed her throat, raising her off the ground with her hands clutching his hand.

"Fuck Ameri--"

She couldn't finish speaking before Homelander effortlessly tore her neck from her body, his passive bio-electric field preventing her blood from staining his body.

"What the hell happened here?"

Stormfront asked as she jumped above the pit and arrived a few meters away from Homelander who just threw away Mindstorm's body.

"It doesn't matter, let's go and get the rest of them."

He said without looking at her and walked away, an evil smirk slowly forming on his face.
