Chapter Nighty-Six

Hades rubbed his hands together and looked down at his wife lovingly and held them, palms out towards her. She returned his smile and did the same with her hands facing them a hair breath away from his. Both began chanting quietly and a small shimmer of light began to grow in between them. It slowly solidified into a small dark stone, They turned and each held a palm out toward Kate's lifeless body sending the stone floating above her chest. They began chanting again and the stone lowered itself and absorbed it into her chest.

"Is that?" Hekate asked Zagryus who was watching his parents in awe. His eyes had widened and tears were brimming his eyes.

 "It is," he answered.

Hades and Persephone finally stopped chanting and their hands met, their fingers entwining with each other, and turned to Athena and Aphrodite.
