Sil smiled at Bakura as Mana was getting yelled at for being naughty again. She waved and went toward him. "Hello, Bakura."

Even better Hikaru arrived at the door again. It was always nicer having her brother near.

Bakura seemed a little surprised at her. "Hello, Sil. Usually Hikaru does the greetings for you two, doesn't he?"

Yes, but Hikaru wasn't there. Sil had a good feeling about Bakura. "No one believes us about Momma, Momma Masika, and Daddy. No one's explaining question answers."

"Oh." Bakura nodded at her. He picked her up and put her on her lap. "They are probably thinking reality will get mixed up with fantasy for you."

"Yeah, it might." Uncle Joey didn't sound so well. "Popped right up on his lap there, Sil?"

"Joey." Aunt Mai came over. "You wouldn't believe what a plushie can do to a bookcase."

"Oh, Mana, what did you do now?" Uncle Joey left to deal with Mana.

"We saw our parents," Sil said seeing her opportunity.

"We did, we saw moms and dad," Hikaru added. Good, now he could take over. "They were in a different world. They spoke gibberish."

"Gibberish?" Bakura asked. "You couldn't understand them?"

"It was all strange markings on stuff too," Sil added. "Signs had." She started making diagonal and horizontal swipes in the air.

"Okay." Bakura just patted her back and rubbed Hikaru's hair. "It sounded like you two had the same kind of dream."

Darn. Again. They didn't even tell him about Ebonnee. What else? "Moms spoke English. Daddy had a twin." For some reason, that last statement made Bakura's attitude change.

"Yugi had a twin?" he asked.

"No, you are going to find a different place for all your books, because your daddy isn't magical," Uncle Joey said as he came out of Mana's room. "He can build a lot of stuff, but he can't rebuild snapped wood, nor can he snap his fingers for money to replace it." Uncle Joey snapped his finger. "See?"

Mana started to cry.

"Don't give in, Joey," Mai said to him. "She knows what she did."

"Mana, no, no crying. I am not falling for that," he said. "Back to your room and stay there until I can say you can come out." He pointed to the room. Mana went in and walked over toward Sil, looking at her. "Funny coincidence that I have to keep you in and her out."

"Joseph," Aunt Mai warned him. "Mana did it, not Sil."

"It worked to her benefit," he muttered. "Hi, Bakura, nice of you to drop by." Uncle Joey didn't sound so nice.

"They saw their daddies twin." Bakura looked toward him. "Did Atem say anything?"

"I wasn't around. I don't know anything." Joey sighed. "I was trying not to give credibility, if it was important, it was said for them. Only, they couldn't seem to understand it. Either way."

"Yeah. Anyhow, I came down for a reason, Joey." Bakura put Sil back down. "Yugi, his wife, and Masika always knew that if anything happened, we'd all be in a huge mess. They are special with no real identity, and no way of treating them for anything. So, they made this. Since you are making the decision soon, I thought I should find it."

Uncle Joey took a little card from Bakura. His eyes went wide. "Are you kidding?"

"No, Joey. I know that we aren't as close as I was to Yugi," Bakura admitted, "so I went to go get the genuine article for you. You know Yugi's handwriting. It isn't official, but like all things with them, we made it happen ourselves." Bakura stood up and shook his hand.

Uncle Joey shook his hand, still staring at the paper. "Yug." He pulled out a spending card. "I can't believe he did that."

"It just sits and doesn't do anything. Money is only good when it's spent on things, and Yugi wanted you to have it, Joey," Bakura insisted. "That's yours, no matter what you choose for the rest."

"Thanks," Uncle Joey answered him. "Really. Thanks." He looked toward Sil and Hi. "I guess this place is an option for you to stay at after all."

"For now," Sil said. "We are going back to moms and dad."

"Yeah, sure. Afterward." Uncle Joey didn't seem mad about her statement this time. He went toward Mai. "We can handle them now, Mai. Yug forked over all his money on a card, and all his other belongings. Including his house too."

"Then can we get a new bookcase?" Mana asked from the other room while there was another crash.

Atem kept watching with Yugi. Already, he had information to have a decent conversation with Silhouette when she came. It was harder to catch her when she was not in a room with Hikaru, since the view always splitted to Hikaru with the phrase Concrete God.

She was a good kid, not a brat like most kids. Masika and Anzu brought her up well with Yugi, and Masika hated bratty kids as much as he did. However, she also spoke up when she saw her goal. She would often be behind Hikaru unless she wanted something. She even used her dolly like a scepter to make her point.

She was often staying near Hikaru. Unlike most siblings, they didn't seem to drive each other away. Even now, they must have sensed their connection. Light and dark. The opposites needed each other.

While Yugi had left all his belongings to 'Uncle Joey', he just dictated the children meet everyone and stay wherever they felt comfortable. Just like they were already doing.

Anzu and Masika didn't mind watching. Masika had been quiet about how it was all making her feel right now. Anzu told Yuugi that it actually made her feel better seeing Hikaru. Even if he was more grown up and far away, seeing his existence put a smile on her face.

They were starting to take shifts though, to find the best possible place to meet them. For several weeks now, they were trying to learn the routine. Mai and 'Uncle Joey' didn't have an easy routine to duplicate.

"Yuugi." Atem looked toward him. "I must ask you a favor."

Yuugi looked back at him. "Yeah?"

"The light and the dark do not like to split up of the children. That makes a degree of sense, but . . ." This would sound weird. "I wish to room with Masika and Silhouette when they come here."

Yuugi gave him an odd look, but just for a second. "To get to know her better?"

"Myself had very deep regrets. I feel like I should keep a close eye on Silhouette and Masika." Yuugi and Anzu had shared a room, while Atem and Masika had their own rooms. "He even said something about leaving Masika in a Shadow Realm. I have no idea what that is, but I want to keep a closer eye on her."

"They do spend a lot of time together. I think it'd be okay for now. Eventually, those two will probably want to share their own room again. For that to happen, you and Masika would still have to share the same room."

Yes, he knew that. "I don't think it would be a problem. We are pretty good friends." Technically, she was still married to him. He declared it, it was still a thing. He could undeclare it, but it kept Bakura more at bay.

"I don't mind what you do, but Masika might. We should get all on the same page. Even though it feels like . . . like it's going to be hard to get Hikaru, one day they are both going to be here. We should be ready."

"Readier than you think."

Yugi and Atem watched as someone they had never seen before popped up behind them.

"Two days here, max. The more you annoy the other world by taking your children, the more lenient gods will become. Rules. Teleporting only one. The children should not let anyone see you. You should not touch anything in that dimension, do not even take a step if you can help it."

"We get them for two days?" Yugi said excitedly. "Really?"

"After that, Isis will have figured out they are missing. I'll distract her two days. During that time, you can make some progress. The more the children feel like this is home, the easier it will be to yank them." He sighed. "Two days only. One teleport. That is what the Ethereals won."

"Ethereal Yugi and Ethereal Atem are probably trying hard up there." Yugi looked toward Atem. "The kids speak another language. We should send one of their mothers."

"We don't want them to get too excited and yell though. Distraction would be bad," Atem pointed out. "They don't know me. Both of them didn't react to me, good or bad."

"Okay, good point. We should do something so that Jounouchi doesn't freak out. Maybe if the kids wrote your name?"

"Hurry, I am burning energy just sitting here," the god commanded.

Yugi went to his original room with Anzu. He knocked on the door and woke them up. They both got up.

They quickly worked on a plan. Masika and Anzu gave Atem a script to hold up at first, but the kids were only six. They might not know reading as well, so they made it simple and had Atem read it too. Then had him spell his name in English. If the kids wrote the name down, then when Joey read his name, he'd know the kids would be safe. At the same time, they wouldn't leave anything behind to disturb that dimension, it would be the kids writing the name.

Atem's presence would hopefully keep them quieter than the ones they knew as their parents though. He had the best chance.

 ---

Atem stood there. He needed to be careful, all three children shared the room. He needed their children to wake up, but not Mana. She looked quite asleep though, drooling on her bed holding a stuffed animal.

He would have to walk a little toward them. In a reality, that I should not ever step into. Such a strange feeling. He jostled Hikaru's bedding lightly.

Hikaru woke up and noticed him. Atem quickly held his finger up, commanding silence in the gesture. Hikaru got out of bed and closer to him.

Atem looked at the paper. "To. Your. Da-d." Easiest he could pronounce. "Silhouette." He put his finger back toward his mouth, signaling silence again.

Hikaru said something to her. She woke up and came over with her dolly.

He made gestures like writing with his hands. They needed to write a message. He pointed to some construction paper he saw in the corner.

Hikaru went to get it. Atem pulled out the other slip of paper that had his name on it. "Write."

Hikaru wrote the name. Good.

He held out both hands. Hikaru grabbed it first. Seeing Hikaru take one, Silhouette took the other.

"We are ready," Atem said.
