Monstrous (V)

I could feel the mana entering the air from the core of the planet coming into being by the core of this planet and energy also coming from the stars within the sky. I began to spread my domain growing and spreading the trees slowly getting rid of the roads within this forest becoming overgrown. The roots spread breaking up the roads turning them into dust I spread my mana into some of the trees causing them to mutate into treants of two different kinds Frost and Void. I smiled as my domain was growing stronger by the hour and the first day had now ended it is time for me to rest and let the mind wander and grow. I woke up to the presence of a few humans who had come into my domain and realized my domain had expanded by a mile.

I got up from the ground running to their location I begun to make the forest shake and slight shrieks of the wind echoed around them. People love the thrill of haunted places so I also began to delve into their minds convincing them that they must be hearing things even though the recording they had showed that all was happening to them was real. I then made one of the 4 simply vanish and made them never realize until they left that they were a party of 4. My smile stretched as I showed their friend them never realizing they were gone as if they had never mattered, I could feel their tears against my hand that they had bitten quite a bit cracking their teeth in their desperation.

I then removed my hand saying "You never truly mattered to them would you like to join me as my loyal Soldier to fight against humanity young child of Adam the First man. I am the child of the Abyss Mother of Monsters or as you call us the myths within the shadows who have begun to awaken. I will only make humanity worship me the others shall use your kind to breed, feed, and slaves where I shall just make them worship me as a god within the forest protecting them from the dark."

He looked me in the eyes tears still dripping and begged " I will become your soldiers as long as you save my family and help all who are called weak so that this world can be fair."

I laughed "You poor thing you believe fairness is for everyone it truly is not the world is only fair to those who take it for themselves for those who grab their fate or those who are helped by the wielders of fate, and you can't see those in this era where magic development is lacking for non-even would have enough magic to manipulate it. A mana flower has bloomed within this forest you are lucky child of the Greed of Man Adam." I led him to the flower of mana and forced him to consume it with my blood allowing him to surpass the Lesser state without true blood.

I then brought him to the cave I had dug by my servants for them to sleep in the ground having been molded from stone which was soft compared to our bodies. I then went out to drive off quite a few more people turning quit a few within each group of which there was only 5.

I felt great pain when I gained the Anti-Mana heart which cause me pain until I tore the heart out of my chest freeing me of the pain getting rid of the skill because I have too much mana within my body to handle that talent. I smiled knowing that the lesser wendigo with this ability would be my best soldier in the future against any mages our kind comes across. I must be careful though because it can interrupt any spells and if they are strong enough remove mana from a person's body permanently. I then rested till the sun rose into the sky and began to stretch I felt the helicopters above from the police due to the many disappearances related to the forest, so I jumped right of the tree line taking out the helicopter and with my two arms I took out the two within it.

I then proceeded to lick the soldier who stabbed my eye causing his blade to shatter against my skin the other brought his pistol up and shot my flesh causing a slight deformation shaking my insides a little, but my regeneration fixed that quite quickly. I smiled and said "I have finally awoken, and this is how humans treat me the Lord of Forests I might as well be treated as a myth like I have learned so what do you have to say for yourself soldier of America."

He trembling says "I'm not a soldier I am simply a cop."

I scoffed "It's the same you still are under the rule of the nation or kingdom you are under it is no difference to me as long as your rulers pay me my due of 25 people a month as per contract rules, I will hunt them on my own if you do not give them to me, it's not like I'm weaker than a whole kingdom."
