"How long has it been? Feels like I have been here since forever." Luminis spoke, his back rested against the tree, and his gaze fixed on the sun setting sky.

Ever since the wolf girl left to go hunting, Lumin has been trying multiple ways he could free himself from the ropes, but they were surprisingly sturdy, he had to calm down and wait for the wolf girl to return and possibly talk his way out of being freed.

"Oh you're still here?, what are you anyway?" Lumin asked, his eyes scanning the area around him.

Lumin sighed, "Okay? So I was sure I died, how am I suddenly alive again? Where am I? And what was that girl, she had dog ears and tails? And how was I even able to do that? Was it magic?".

"Why is it so cold all of a sudden? Geez, at least on a fire or something before you go off hunting, I'm not planning to freeze to death".

'So that's how it works? I can just wish for something and I get it?' He muttered in his mind, but then, he started noticing rather than cold, he was feeling warm, rapidly.

"Hey voice, can you also take the heat away?" He asked.

"Sweet!" Lumin gave out a satisfied smile, but it was short lived as his predicament slapped him in the face when he noticed how dark it was getting.

"How am I able to obtain these skills?" He asked the voice, planning to use whatever he could get to his advantage and free himself.

"I wish I was free from these ropes!!!" He suddenly yelled as if he had been waiting to do that all along.

Unique skill 『Analysis』: I am the unique skill Analysis, an angel intellectual core, I reside in the host's body and maintain everything needed to be overseen]

Unique skill 『Consume』grants host the ability to absorb mana and other forms of energy from source, once mana/energy is been absorbed, host will be able to make a replica of it.

Lesser skill 『Perception』: Grants host the ability to track, sense magic and other skills (magic sense) that can be used to track

The unique skill 『Wisher』

Host also obtained these skills after using 『Consume』on A ranked monster (Grim reaper).

『Dark mist』: Gives host the ability to dematerize himself so long as he has mana to sustain the form.

『Imprison』 : Gives host the ability to to suck anything into your special void/space and trap it there].

'From everything the voice said, it seems there is only one skill that is probably going to get me out of this ropes, but can I use it though? Weird feeling, but it's almost like I'm familiar with everything the voice just listed.' Luminis thought to himself, before he voiced out.

"How do I go about using the Dark most skill?" He asked.

"Magic cast?".

[Affirmative, calling out the name of preferred skill before casting].

"So I just have to call it out?" Luminis repeated, closing his eyes to try and focus before I called out,

"Dark mist."

And just like that, he felt a tremendous surge of magic radiate outward from his being, as if every fiber of his essence responded to his command.

Gradually, his form began to disintegrate, breaking down into minuscule fragments that resembled particles of shimmering dust.

The rope plummeted to the earth below while Luminis's ethereal form danced through the air, before ultimately solidifying as he descended, landing with a soft thud, his face pressed against the ground.

Getting up and sitting on the ground, Luminis stayed quiet for a while, his gaze fixed on the ground.

'I'm free now what? If I were to go now, it's not like I exactly know anything about this world to begin with, not to speak of, it's night time, encountering another Grim reaper isn't far from the list of dangerous possibilities'.

"Even after all these I still find it hard to believe…" He sighed, "Hey voice, what else can I do?".

[I do not understand your question]

"I gained other skills when I used consume on that grim reaper earlier right?" He asked .

"Okay, then, teach me how to use that too."
