Comeet Legacy

[Hello, Levi] The synthetic, automated voice came again. Born a sickling and grew that way, Levi was never ready to bear the consequences and responsibilities of being the host to the construct that burrowed into his neck. Not only did it cure him from his lethal illness, it also granted him extreme abilities. With schemes and lies holding up what's left of the planet, Levi has to suffer loss, anger and betrayal in his endeavour to avenge the murder of his father. But the system doesn't only want Levi to satisfy his own anger-driven desires. It wants Levi to save the remaining population from another Ròkks raid and build a new civilization. What happens when this new intergalactic civilization start falling apart for the same reasons that once pushed him? How much more people—or rather, sentients of different anatomy—lose their lives before balance is restored? //: Every tag is or will be present in the novel:\\

Nine Hours Left

EARTH'S SECOND FALL—1:08 AM—9 HOURS LEFT

The stormy rainfall reached its peak just as they began to cover enough distance from the main buildings of the institution. The rain poured down in sheets so thick that they could hardly determine their path. However, they were reassured by the tarred streets and golden blurry lights.

The wind whipped through their ears—so strong, it temporarily altered the rain's direction. The next thunderclap seemed to jolt them back to reality after being caught in a trance of running. Without a word spoken, they nonverbally understood each other and decided to find shelter.

They started running to a nearby tree with wide branches with their soaked clothes weighing them down.

Josh collapsed to the ground once they were under the protection of the tree. The academics tried to catch their breath, leaning on their knees and panting hard.

Levi stroked his wet hair back and accessed their surroundings.
