Specialized Training

The next morning Yuki woke up at her normal time. The only thing different was that Hinata was hugging her arm. She reached over and shook Hinata's shoulder. "Hinata, you need to wake up. It is time to train."

"Hmmm?" Hinata's eyes slowly opened as she blinked a few times before her whole face turned bright red and shot up into a prostrating position, bowing her head to Yuki. "I'm sorry!"

"Why are you bowing to me? Come on. We need to get changed into training gear." Yuki had no idea why Hinata was bowing to her out of nowhere and apologizing. It was not like she did anything wrong.

Hinata slowly got up but paused when she realized she had no clothes. "Ummmm… Yuki…."

Yuki, who climbed out of bed and began stretching, looked at Hinata. Seeing her expression that looked as if she wanted to ask something, Yuki quickly realized the issue. She walked over to her dresser and opened one of the drawers, and pulled out some clothes. "Wear my clothes for now. We will go out and get you some clothes today."

Hinata nodded and took the clothes from Yuki before she started to get changed. While this was happening, Rukia was throwing another fit. "I swear If I get out of here, I will personally send that hollow in human skin to the soul society!"

[Little Shinigami, you sure are an interesting one.]

"I do not want to hear that from a fox! But seriously, do you not sympathize with the little girl? You saw how bruised and battered she was." Rukia still couldn't shake the images of the bruises on Hinata's body. Just thinking about it angered her to no end.

[Mmm… I do. I would help her if I could, but sadly I can not. Although, her little eye ability can be used for more than what it is used for now.]

'Khione, what do you mean?' Yuki quickly picked up on this.

[She can not use it yet until she is more adept at using her eyes, but once she grows a bit more, I will instruct you on how to assist her in using her eyes to the full extent and awaken their true function.]

Yuki was a bit excited. If this really could make Hinata stand out over the rest of the Hyuga clan, then Yuki couldn't wait to see how that Hiashi looks when Hinata uses her new ability. 'How long do you think it will take?'

[Most likely a few years. Do not worry, I will remember. You, for now, have her always use her eyes while training. She will need to get used to it so she can get a good feel for them. For now, strength and stamina, along with working up a combat style that suits both of you, is the more important part.]

'Thanks, Khione.' Yuki smiled and looked at Hinata, who was now dressed and smiled warmly. She could not keep herself from reaching out and petting her head. "Hinata."

"Yes?" Hinata looked up at Yuki as they walked out of the room, making their way towards the entrance of the house.

"Use your byakugan while we train. Try to keep it up as long as you can." Yuki decided she would make sure that Hinata could have a bright future. She did not know what Khione had planned, but she was sure that whatever it was would only be beneficial to Hinata.

"O-Okay…." Hinata did not hesitate to listen to Yuki, so she did as she was told.

The two girls began their daily morning run, which would not end until they did twenty laps around the yard. Hinata had already been training hard, so she was easily keeping up with Yuki. After they finished running and did some basic exercises, Jiraiya called them in for breakfast. After that, they began their daily practice. From taijutsu to ninjutsu, Jiraiya covered all the basics. He was quite surprised to find out Hinata was not all that bad at either. This came as a big surprise because the Hyuga clan never practiced anything but the gentle fists. So for Hinata to be able to learn everything this quickly was truly amazing. And this was not to mention the fact that her byakugan was still active this entire time, and she showed no signs of fatigue. Most byakugan users could not keep it activated for long periods of time, but this girl….

Jiraiya looked up at the sky as he mumbled: "Hiashi, I wondered what you will do when you realize you threw away a genius…."

"Okay, since the basics are now covered, we will move on to another form of training. Yuki, you will take the bag on the left, and Hinata, you will take the bag on the right. You will both then go to opposite sides of the yard and begin training with shurikens and kunai. Although you two will be training differently. While Hinata will be getting taught by me how to properly use both, Yuki, I want you to use your psychokinesis and work them into your normal footwork." Jiraiya looked at the two young girls, who both picked up their pouches and smiled. "Okay, let's get started!"

""Yes!!"" Both girls answered at the same time.

Yuki smiled, seeing Hinata following after Jiraiya. It seemed she was truly willing to grow stronger. "Now then. I should begin my own training as well. I guess I will practice flash step while doing the training Jiraiya told me to do."

"Don't trip over your own feet this time. Not when you will have sharp objects around you." Rukia warned, causing Yuki to almost do just that without even needing to try doing a flash step.
