[I] Stroll

Walter and his two servants continued to tour the city. They don't have any particular destination, but they just went ahead anyway, on the way, seeing great places to stay at and feel the atmosphere of the city. And because of their new outfits, they completely blend themselves into it.

Like Alice and Ayla, Walter has also bought clothes in the clothing shop they just went to, and right now, he's wearing something people would casually wear in the city: a full-on vested shirt and long pants, which makes him look like an adventurer just starting out. His companions complimented that it looks good on him, as he thinks so himself, thinking that he should probably at least improve his clothes into something like it.

And looking at Alice and Ayla, he also thought that maybe he should buy them more clothes of different varieties - now that he's living alone, no one will judge him for whatever things he gives them, unlike when he was back at their main house, where all Alice was getting were mockeries, and those who are familiar with her are the only one who treats her decently. Walter thinks that it must've been hard for her, but he doesn't want to think about the past and all he needs to do now is to give her whatever he had missed back then.

And luckily enough, Ayla appeared not at that time, but right now - either way, Walter is sure that whatever Ayla's past is, it's also might be as hard as Alice's.

However, right now, he could see that they're happy with their current status as his servants, evident to the clear smiles on their faces, and the way that they try to cling themselves into him shows just how much more they want to get close to him, which makes him feel glad as he always does whatever he can to accomplish such attention from the two of them.

[ Fufu... ] suddenly, as they stroll, he hears a quiet laugh came out of Alice, who is sticking herself onto his left arm.

[ What is it, Alice? ]

[ Well... Walter-sama, it's just been a while since we've gone with each other outside... Maybe I was still a kid back then. ]

[ Hmm... I remember too, I've spent most of my time in the academy back then, so I wasn't really able to get the time. ] he replies to the smiling Alice, reminiscing about the past - when he was still at the knight's academy, leaving Alice in the main house alone, only visiting from time to time.

[ I'm really happy right now, Walter-sama, umm... thank you very much. ]

[ U-Un... Ayla is happy, too. ] coming from the right side, Ayla joined in the conversation too.

Ayla still has her ponytail up, but like Alice, she's pretty, though not mature, Walter still didn't mind. She's already enough as she is. All that Walter wants for her right now is to fix her vocabulary so she could express herself more like Alice, as he's sure she's still struggling to reply and make a conversation, trying to stray away herself from it as much as she can as she knows she can't handle it yet - the reason why she doesn't really talk that much.

( Maybe I'll just teach her when I have the time... but... I also have other plans for her... ) staring at her, he thought.

Though it may not look like it, Ayla is actually already his official butler, which will make him need to make her stay with him as much as possible. And no butler could be one without having the ability to fight, at least what Walter thinks butlers should be - that was why he started to teach her the ways how to fight with a sword and a bow, he just thinks that she has the talent for it.

If he decided to also teach her how to properly read and talk, they will need more time for it and Walter doesn't think that he would be able to accomplish what he wants as fast as he wishes, he needs to stick into teaching her only one skill after another.

Looking up the sky, he decided that he should teach her to become a proper butler first. She already has been trained a bit by Alice, but he thinks that her skills of being a maid will only teach her so little as a butler, he needs to deal with her himself.

[ Walter-sama? ] having his thoughts over his head, Alice called for him. seemingly not seeing his distracting thoughts.

[ Walter-sama... if I'm right.... this place is...? ] with a surprised tone, she spoke. And as Walter move his eyes to what she was talking about, he also seemed to have been baffled.

There - what he saw in front of them was the guild. It was the same place where a bunch of adventurers can be found strolling around, entering back and out of its massive structure as they did their jobs.

[ Looks like we circled around the city... ]

Now that he thinks about it, it's been a while since they have been walking around; they must've had taken some complicated routes to take them back into this place, not that they really visited it before they arrived at the plaza. Thinking he failed as a guide, he regretted he did not study the city routes well enough.

[ Err... Anyway... maybe going inside wouldn't hurt. ] he murmurs, curious to see the guild for a second time after arriving in this city.

And now that he thinks about it, maybe he could also register himself as an adventurer, not that he needed to, but getting an adventurer card might become of help for him. And after all, becoming an adventurer could be a part-time he could take to earn more money, and if he wanted to, to earn more fame than he already has.

[ Alice, Ayla, make sure to stay with me. ] giving his orders to the two of them, they both nodded.

He's a bit anxious about letting them inside, but he's much more worried to leave them outside. He knows that this is a selfish decision from him, but he just can't defeat the urge.

So, without a rush, he strolls towards its entrance, the well-detailed features of the floor leading to it felt comfortable to Walter's feet, making him want to continue...

But before he could completely enter it, a familiar voice called out to him.

[ Bo-Boss...!? ] the voice came from a girl, and as he turns to look where it came from, he saw Gerald and Kira, also just about to enter the guild.
