[I] Shopping

Together with Alice and Ayla, Walter leaves his mansion alone to go to the city.

Though he doesn't have any other servants to guard the place yet, he's still not worried as he's sure no one would really plan to try and rob anything from him, especially that he is still unknown to the common public. Only those noble families who were present in his debut and those he made acquaintance with are the people who have the idea who he is, which he's sure would have no reason to become thieves for someone who doesn't have any valuable stuff in his home yet.

So for now, all he did was to make sure to lock the gates before they leave - and just a few minutes after they did so, they were already able to tour most of the city, and now, they have finally reached the middle of it, the city square, where behind a large fountain, Walter stood, having Alice and Ayla on both of his sides.

The square - though it might seem different from the one he got used to at the capital, it still has the same feel and atmosphere put into it. Almost everywhere, stalls and shops of different variations exist; from food stalls to full-fledged shops selling armor, weapons, and all kinds of stuff - and among them are those who are selling common gears and casual clothing worn by commoners.

Of course, in such a place, many people will surely arrive, and so it was the case. And like when Walter first arrived in this city, there were many people that are most likely adventurers, passing and walking by, wearing their usual gears and serious expressions. Walter is guessing that they're most probably here to buy their stuff, which will be common knowledge to anyone considering items in squares are usually much cheaper than any private stores in any city.

[ For now... Let's enjoy ourselves and look for anything... ] Walter spoke in a voice both of his companions would be able to hear despite the noise from the huge number of people, chipping birds, and the screeching sound of small wheels - all surrounding them.

[ Well? Do you two have anything you want to buy? ]

[ Umm... Are you sure, Walter-sama? I mean... we already have enough... ]

[ I've already told you, right? It's okay... especially for Ayla... she doesn't have anything of her own yet... at least help her buy her clothes. ] Walter turns his eyes into Ayla, looking at her tomboyish appearance, with her wearing a suit of a butler's and a short ponytailed hair protruding on the back of her head.

Apparently, she's not really what Walter have thought her to be, a 'cat-girl', which would be one of the most common demi-human there is, but rather, a wolf-kin who has a different variation of color - or at the best he could describe her, mixed, of both black and white, which will make herself much rarer, even compared to the race of Alice, the cyclops.

[ How about it, Ayla, do you have anything you want? ] he asks. And having her name and attention called, she starts to panic and hesitatingly tries to reply. Her reaction was just Walter had expected.

Since she just arrived and become his servant for only quite some time, and especially of how he just suddenly took her in, she's still not open to him like Alice, but at the very least, she recognizes him as her master, so replying and responding is a responsibility, which makes her panic - but still, that was not all there is to it, being the most important factor of her dismay was because it was the first time she was asked the question Walter had just asked her.

[ E-Err... Anything Ayla wants...? ]

[ Of course, anything. ]

[ Are you sure, master? Umm... Bu-But... You're already kind enough to help Ayla... She couldn't possibly ask for more... ] she replies with a quiet voice, and to it, Walter could only sigh.

( Just how hard is it to convince these two...? ) he couldn't help but think as he repeatedly tells them it was okay, only to be forgotten and asked him about it again.

[ Haah... if this is how it's going to be, then I have no choice but to choose everything myself... ] after a sigh, a smirk appeared on his face, ignoring Ayla as he spoke again.

[ Then, for now, we'll go to the tailor's shop. ]

[ The tailor's shop, Walter-sama? ]

[ Yes, I've decided... I'll help you choose your clothes. ]

And just like that, they were able to arrive at a tailor shop, which if his guess is right, it was the most popular clothing store in this city.

[ Uwah... ] voices of amazement let themselves out as Alice and Ayla both view all the clothes displayed, hanging and placed on the walls of the shop.

That was right, even though they're mere servants, they're still women at heart, and the instincts to admire these kinds of things is still embedded to them.

[ A-Are you sure, Walter-sama!? These clothes must be really expensive...! ]

[ Of course, they sure are. ] as if he was proud, he replies with a positive tone.

[ I-If that's the case, then...! ] at first, Ayla was the only one who was really panicking, but now, it seems Alice was also starting to, so she complains, but before she could even finish her sentence, Walter blocked her lips off with a finger and said -

[ That's enough, Alice, haven't I already told you many times already? If it's for you, then I wouldn't mind buying the most expensive things. Alice, don't tell me you've already forgotten my promise that I will by you a castle for us to live in, even if it's that, I wouldn't mind, you know? ] though he said it as if it was a jest, he was more than serious about it, he really would buy an entire castle if it's for her.

[ E-Eh!? ] and as if Alice felt his real emotion, she blushes and finally loses her composure - she just couldn't take it if Walter would bring up something about their past.

[ Of course, I wouldn't forget something like that, Walter-sama...! But that was when I was still a kid...! I'm a grown-up now and I couldn't be more embarrassed and ashamed by it...! ]

[ Ohho~? But as I said, I wouldn't mind... These clothes will only be the start, so you better get used to it. ]

[ Uhh... Walter-sama...! I really am not worthy...! ] embarrassed and red, she finally tries to cover up her face to hide it away from Walter. And Walter only smiled at the sight of his cute Alice. And after he satisfied himself teasing her, he turns to Ayla, and as if she knows what he would go to next, her shoulders stumble in anticipation.

[ I'm sorry, Ayla, but the role of the queen is already taken by Alice. ] again, he kids around.

[ Well... As long as Ayla gets to stay with master, then it's fine... ] unexpected, he was able to receive an immediate and confident reply from Ayla; he was surely surprised by it, and of course, also tempted.

( Really... My road to having a full-time harem really is starting, huh? ) he thought so as he continues to tease his two servants.

A few minutes or so had passed, Walter waited for quite some time, but none wasted as he gazes at the sight in front of him, where two princesses of beauty reveal themselves to him.

There - in front of him is Alice and Ayla, wearing sundresses that fit their colors, their pretty faces match with the carefree style of their new appearance - and for the first time, the curves of their body were put on plain sight for him to see. As it turns out, their bodies aren't really that immature-looking when wearing clothes, their specific maid and butler uniforms just make it look so.

[ Does it look good, Walter-sama...? ]

[ Un, it suits both of you. ]

As Walter being their lover, they were just happy to receive such a reply, and they needed to show off their smiles in exchange for it, not that they really can't stop themselves from doing so from the contentment of Walter's response, they feel that they really are being wanted by him and they were blown away by it.

[ It looks perfect, isn't it? ] suddenly, someone else's voice came. It was the owner of the shop himself, who recommended him clothes for him to choose from.

[ There were many good clothes to choose from, but I guess this would be the most fitting... ] Walter replies.

[ Hehe... Then, you will take them, right? ]

[ Of course... and... About what I request you earlier... ] suddenly, his voice became quiet, seemingly avoiding his two companions from hearing, making it as suppressed as possible. And though it was the case, luckily enough, the shop owner's hearing was good enough to hear him, despite looking having quite the old age.

[ Please leave it to me, they would be ready within a week. ]
