Arc 4 : Chapter 2: Detention!
Huff Puff
(Footsteps approaching)
"Hey is that you Suren!", Marcolvon Fischer yelled at the wall.
"Huh? Fischer?", a faint sound came from the wall.
"Move back Fischer", Suren yelled into the wall.
"What?"
" I didn't hear you tell me again"
Fischer approached the wall and just then Suren Lee broke the wall dividing their tunnels.
Gyahh!
"It hurts"
Fischer grieved in pain.
"You idiot I said you to move back right"
"Huh? You think a normal human can hear clearly through the walls", Fischer yelled.
"Anyways let's head straight", Suren said.
Rumble Rumble
"This cave seems to be deep Fischer"
"How do you know that?"
"I am a geo manipulator and also have a good idea of terrains"
"An open space in front of us", Suren yelled as he rushed forward.
Huff puff
Swoosh*
"Well it is closed you know", Fischer said as he looked at the wide space with flame torches lighting up the entire domain which gave a reminder of medieval periods.
"Fischer do you sense anything", Suren lee looked across the field as he gazed upon the opposite tunnels.
"Sigh, they are here"
"If it isn't my brother and the tomato guy"
"Shit, why of all people does Remi have to be here", Fischer grieved.
A face-off against people who have known each other for their lifetime.
How will their battle end?

"Rusheel can you control the wind in this tunnel?"
"Yes"
"How about we suck out all the air from this entire place?"
"Are you insane? Why plot something so dirty?", Rusheel yelled.
"In this test, they never said we would lose if all the players reached the other side"
"So, you want to gamble on that?"
"Think about it we don't have to drain our energy right?"
"Hmm, I don't get it Edan"
"You know, why can't we win the hearts of our enemies? The opponent could be your future partner Rusheel", Edan said as he waved his own body like a slug.
"Stop pushing it. Fine I will, I don't expect an answer from you anyway."

Rusheel eyes shined bright as he waved his hand forward.
The winds changed and the air started moving out of the tunnel.

The battle between the known still goes on.
"Carilia take on Marco and aim for his left leg he has an unstable footing", Remi yelled.
"Fischer a piece of advice don't get hit by her slashes. They really hurt!"
Both the opponents unsheathed their blades and faced each other head-on.

"Hey you're pretty good", Fischer exclaimed.
"Wish I could say the same"
Carillia backed out and infused her sword with mana as the winds got narrower and sharper near the blade.

("Darn just by it grazing over me could have my face cut like this")
Fischer thought as a small cut appeared on his cheek.
"Now my turn then", Fischer yelled as he made eye contact with Suren Lee.
"Understood"
WIth that Suren locked his claymore into the ground and pillars appeared all over the domain.
Fischer climbed up the rising pillar to take the high ground.
He lept out into the air as his blade burnt at his command.
The flames spiraled around and reached Carilia.
Carilia instantaneously stopped the blazing blade with her own but the flames were in command of Fischer as his eyes narrowed the flames burst forward.
Boom*
Swoosh*
"Damn you almost got me Fischer", Carilia chuckled.
The flames stopped in front of her hand as her body imbued with mana deflected it all.
"Why am I getting exhausted so quickly", Fischer exclaimed.
"Guess we fight till one of us falls"
Fischer and Carilia both pointed their blades and kept on fighting.
"They are not gonna go down easily", Remi muttered.
"Then we should end this quickly here", Suren declared.
Remi took her bow out and hit an icicle arrow onto the roof of the dungeon.
The entire roof froze solid and had no sign of rumble any longer.
"Now I don't have to worry about us being buried alive", Remi said.
Remi took another arrow and aimed at Suren.
The arrow turned blue as the mana overflowed from it.
Shoot*
The arrow moved forward and the size became abnormally large.
It swept the entire field as it moved forward and destroyed everything in its path.
The pillar broke down one by one and the arrow marched towards Suren.
Suren plugged his sword to the ground and the ground changed shape in to form of a dragon's head.
Boom
Swoosh*
The entire arrow burst and yet the dragon's head remained intact.
"What are you gonna do about the explosion", Remi inquired.
"Explosion?"
The mana left from the arrow, exploded as Suren got knocked to the wall.
"Damn", Suren grieved.
"Hey guys look at this", Fischer said as he looked at the fog leave the dungeon and the flame torches slowly burning out.
"Wind manipulation it is", Carilia stated.
"It is very hard to breathe too", Remi realized.
"We should leave sister"
"We can't fight in this situation so we better leave the test to the rest", Remi stated.
Sigh*
Carilia looked at Fischer and he nodded in agreement.

"Guess the rumbling stopped seems they have retreated"
Edan said as he was thinking something.
"Edan tell me why, you did this?"
"Now it is us who decide the fate of this test"
"You chose to not trust them right?", Rusheel realized Edan's true intentions.
"We have barely met so, how do you think I can trust their skills?"
"Sigh, Well you got a point there", Rusheel reluctantly accepted.
"You didn't trust me either Rusheel, your powers you hide them well don't you"
"You shouldn't expect me to be any different than you Edan"
"What's this noise, Mai?", Felessa Caren inquired.
"Seems they are fighting over something"
"Caren, can you immobilize them?"
"Yeah ok"
Bubble*
Edan and Rusheel instinctively turned towards the dark but it was too late bubbles appeared and captured them.
Glurg Glug*

Edan strained his arm and the bubble popped immediately.
Huff puff
Edan looked up as a sword marched towards him.
He took the daggers in his pocket to block them.
Clang*
Mai's eyes glowed and in the next instant, she was behind Edan.
His reaction was too late and she hit him with the hilt of her sword.

Edan fell unconscious.

Edan looked around only to find Rusheel glaring at him.
"You idiot"
"No, you are the idiot"
"Whats this ruckus?", The sleep-deprived Wilson glared at the two idiots fighting each other.
"Hey what were you guys planning there?"
Both looked at Wilson and turned their head against each other.
"It was Edan"
"Stop throwing everything on to me, asshole"
"Hey, you both...", at that moment if anyone saw Wilson they would have pissed their own pants looking at his bulged-up nerves.
Edan and Rusheel went silent in an instant.
"Detention!"

"One-Thousand sheeps"
"It has been so long since I have ever seen a man"
"Rusheel you still here?"
"Yes"
"One useless piece of trash speaking with me"
Edan now had the trauma of boredom.

"Who is it?"
"Hey, Edan why are you still here?", Mai Silvia came to rescue.
"What do you mean?"
"Where is the other guy"
"You mean Rusheel?", Mai inquired.
Edan came out of his room and looked at the doorknob of the opposite room.
"A tape-recorder?"
Edan examined the recorder and pressed the play button.
"Edan, Moshi Moshi you still here?"
"If your hearing this then I would assume it's past the time of detention"
"Pfft, sorry but how could someone not know when detention ends"
"Hahahaha"
Edan glared at the recorder as Rusheel got on his nerves.
He tilted his head towards Mai. At that moment If his head was a little closer he would have had his first kiss.
Edan's eyes narrowed and he backed out while his face turned red.
"Edan, I thought you wanted to speak to me about something"
"What?"
"When you were unconscious you kept on mumbling, Mai-san"
"So, I assumed you wanted to speak to me"
Edan became all gloomy. "Hey can I die"
"If you have nothing to ask then I will take my leave then"
"..."
"No, I did want to ask something"
"I am right here"
"Mai, Can you train with me?"
First, she had a surprised face and then her eyes turned gentle.
"Sure", she said with a smile.
Edan then witnessed one of the most beautiful events in his life.
His face as red as a tomato.
"My heart", Edan grieved.
