Chapter 8 - Morning

"Forgive me for being unreasonable and being selfish. I just had a bad day and I unknowingly vent it on you. I shouldn't have done that. I also apologize for calling you a pervert. It will not happen again."(Astelle)

Argus look at her eyes. It's weird why he can tell that she's not lying probably because of his skill.

"I accept your apology."(Argus)

Hearing what Argus says, Astelle was shocked.

"What?! That's all you want to say?... Ah."(Astelle)

Astelle unconsciously blurted out. Her lips are twitching.

'You're not talkative are you?'(Astelle)

"Looks like the problem is solve. You can pay me in this code, just transfer the money tomorrow. I will go now. Just live here like it's your home. Goodnight youngsters. "(Old lady)

"Thank you Grandma."(Twins)

"Thanks."(Argus)

After the old lady exit the house.

"Where's my room?"(Argus)

"Wait, wait, wait... Oum let's introduce ourselves again since there's a problem a while ago."(Kelvin)

Kelvin says while looking at her sister.

"Tsk... I know, I know... Once again, forgive me for being selfish. Ahem... Let me introduce myself. I am Astelle Arisia. I am the pr-... I am here to enroll at the Arcana Hunter Academy. Nice meeting you."(Astelle)

"I am Kelvin Arisia. Twin siblings of Astelle. Like her, I am also here to enroll at the Arcana Hunter Academy. Nice meeting you."(Kelvin)

"Argus Orpheus. I also waiting for the enrollment."(Argus)

"Let's be friends Mr. Orpheus. One of the purpose why we came here is to make friends. Let's make you our first friend."(Kelvin)

Argus look at Kelvin. He felt that he is not lying but he did not accept or reject his offer.

"Suit yourself. By the way, where's my room?"(Argus)

"Oh... Anyway, I am sure that we will become good friends. We still have a month to get to know each other."(Kelvin)

Kelvin says that his room is in this floor. The room of the siblings are at the second floor of the house. He then enters his room and set his things.

'It's nicer than my house.'(Argus)

Argus then close his eyes thinking of what happened earlier.

'Those two are strong.'(Argus)

A smirk appeared on his lips then he goes to sleep. He already eaten on the way here. Back on the siblings side. They are in Astelle's room.

"Sister, why did you act like that? It's too rude. If mother learns about this you will probably gonna be grounded."(Kelvin)

"Don't you dare tell her or you know what will happen to you.It's just what happened on our first day here made me angry. Too many perverts, just thinking about it makes me angry. Sigh... And I already apologize, didn't I?"(Kelvin)

"Lower your voice or he might hear you."(Kelvin)

Argus can hear what they are talking about if he focus all his attention but he is currently readi. Even if he's not, he is not interested on hearing other people's conversation.

"Sigh... You need to become used to it. We're not in our home after all. Still... You shouldn't have vent it to Mr. Orpheus, if he leaves, I think it will be harder to make a connection with him."(Kelvin)

"What... That's unusual of you. Approaching someone and making connections with a stranger."(Astelle)

"You also notice it right? Normally with our bloodline people will feel a bit pressure when they come near us. Especially a normal human who just awakened. I'm not looking down on humans. Anyway... My instinct is telling me not to become his enemy. Didn't you notice it?"(Kelvin)

"Now that you say it... You're right he's too calm even when he's near us both. As for my instinct, I didn't notice it since I'm pissed earlier."(Astelle)

"Anyway... Do not make him your enemy. He's strong, the mana inside his body is too much for a new awakener. I don't know what his level but he's a different human than those we have met earlier. If you do not want to make him your friend then do not get on his bad side. I'm going to sleep... Goodnight sister."(Kelvin)

"Hmph... I'm not that petty. Goodnight."(Astelle)

Kelvin goes back to his room. Astelle on the other hand was thinking what his brother says.

"Kelvin acknowledge him, huh. Well I don't care... I just want to find friends in the academy."(Astelle)

Astelle then close her eyes to sleep.

Morning arrives, it's 5:00 A.M and Argus wakes up to do his daily training. He was about to go out when he heard footsteps from the stairs. He look that direction and saw Astelle in a cute white pajama with her still messy hair. If someone saw her they will find still very beautiful. It looks like she still didn't notice him since she just sloppily stretch her arms and yawn. As she raise her hands her clothes has also been lifted up. Argus saw her gorgeous body especially her belly button.

Argus inadvertently stare at her, realizing this he immediately face the other way. Argus then open the front door and immediately go out for a jog. Not long after Astelle became conscious and realize that there is other person in the house. Seeing Argus back leaving the house. Astelle unconsciously covered her body and duck.

"You-you-you... Did you see it?! Come back here you perv-... You bastatd!"(Astelle)

Astelle didn't expect that someone will saw her in that embarrassing situation. Her face turned crimson, if someone saw her now they would find her very cute. Her brother usually got up late, unlike her who wakes up early to train so she let her guard down. She didn't think that Argus was an early bird like her and this situation happened.

"What? What is it? Is there an enemy?!"(Kelvin)

At Astelle's shout made Kelvin awake. He thought that there is invader in their house so he hurriedly got up and take a battle stance. Then she saw her sister sitting in a corner covering her body while having a very cute flush face but looking aggrievedly at the door.

Kelvin look on that direction and saw Argus silhouette in a training suit running. He then turned back his gaze to her sister. After thinking for a while a scenario was built on his head that is not far from the truth. Kelvin face started twitching when he came from that conclusion.

"Sigh... Aren't you unlucky sister. That's probably heaven's retribution for yo-"(Kelvin)

Before his sentence... A punch suddenly came near his face that sent him flying.

"Ahhh!"(Kelvin)

"What did you say? I can't quite understand?"(Astelle)

"Nothing... I didn't say anything. Do you hear someone talking? Who is it?! Show yourself?!(Kelvin)

Kelvin starts feigning ignorance. A sweat formed in his forehead, he didn't want to be implicated by her angry sister or he already did.

"That bastard... He saw my body, he is really a pervert! Don't let him comeback here or else I will kill him!"(Astelle)

Astelle was really in a aggrieved situation. Although it's her entire fault. Of course she will not admit it.

"But!?"(Kelvin)

"Huh?!"(Astelle)

Sigh

"Yes... I will tell him."(Kelvin)

Astelle then grudgingly walk to the bathrooms direction. After taking a bath, she change to her training suit and goes out to train. Many people saw her and was amaze by her beauty but she just ignored them and continued to run.

{Argus's POV}

Argus was still thinking why he did something like that. He then remembered the beautiful scene earlier.

'She's as beautiful as that person.'(Argus)

Argus unconsciously muttered.. Realizing what he was saying, Argus shook his head and started slapping his face. He then tried to forget that scene but he find it hard.

'Let's just train.'(Argus)

Argus then focus his mind on running. He runs on the direction of the Northern Entrance since he wants to do his daily routine outside. He think it's more peaceful.

Shortly afterwards a woman who also wears a training suit was running with an annoyed face on the same direction Argus went.

"I should go out or I might encounter that bastard here. It should be more peaceful outside. Grr... I pray that I will really not meet you.."(Astelle)

It looks like the two have the same plan in mind. If Argus can hear what this woman says, he might move to other place.

Argus continued to run, not long he finds a good place to train, a glade. He then started his training. Push ups, sit-ups, squats, and hand to hand combat training. Of course there is no enemy but Argus use image training, he did not want to be disturb so he always finds a peaceful place like this.

It's already 6:00 AM and Argus finish his daily routine training. He plans to go back and head to the guild. Argus then walk back to the direction he came from.
